I had a graphic design company back in the early/mid 90's and got to know a few of the Canucks on the '94 team and in fact I had a t-shirt deal with Pavel Bure. I got to meet all the guys and even Pat Quinn, who was super nice. His players respected him and liked him due to his leadership skills. Having said that, Pat was also know for his fiery "Irish Temper" lol. I can remember being at a practice in the Agrodome back in '94 and the team was not having a good practice and Pat lost it on them. He skated over to the mid-boards and took his stick and smashed it over the glass, breaking the stick in half. It brought a sudden "hush" over the practice and then things started to flow better in that practice lol. It was pretty wild to see and is something I will never forget. He had high expectations, as he should, as the team had high calibre, highly paid players, which Pat would have been responsible for signing as he was also GM of the team. He knew what the players could do/should do and held them to it. I really respected that out of Pat and wish he was still around. The 1994 Canucks team in my opinion was the best squad (okay 2011 team was also good) to watch! R.I.P. Pat and thanks for the great years of hockey!
Quinn, The "quinn"tessential man's man...miss those days of watching the 'nucks at the old Coliseum..wood sticks, 1 ref, 2 linesman, helmets were just a suggestion, no goofy computer overlays on the boards.. Truly the good old days👍🥅

Well said my benevolent friend. 🏒🏆
Love the big Irishman. Canucks were always at their best with big Pat behind the bench.
Good call Ken 🇮🇪 🏒
I have no idea who this is, I don’t know anything about hockey other than it can be a rough bloody sport, sorry for your loss!
