Seems like his final fight should have been against a worthier opponent. No discredit to the Ice Man though. Would have been interesting to see him go up against a world class Tie boxer like Rufus did.
I understand the sentiment, but I think the quality of the match can't be pinned on Theriault. Marcus Reed wasn't considered another Roufus or Kaman, but at this time, he had a good reputation as a strong up-and-comer. The way the fight played out is more of a matter of Marcus dropping the ball than of Jean-Yves specifically choosing an easy opponent.

Great old school fight between 2 great fighters. Yves is great, and anyone that can handle Marcus Reed like that has my respect.
