A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I drove motor coach and had a one day gig driving the major media personalities in Bob Dole's motorcade while he was running for president. There were two of us meeting the motorcade. We were early, hadn't been briefed, so we stopped at a McDonalds or Burger King (I can't remember it was Bob Dole!) to grab a bite to eat. The skeleton staff freaked out because they saw two motor coaches which hold 55 people each. We hadn't really even began our day. We had no clue what our day was going to be, so it was just the two of us buying exactly two breakfast meals so we could go meet with the U.S. Secrete Service. I still feel bad for those fast food workers. They made a mess in their pants when it was simply two drivers.
32 Burger Story: OP was nicer than I'd have been... I'd have told him "This store does not tolerate people that abuse our staff! [look at cashier] cancel his order and refund his money if he's already paid. [look back at customer] when you've received your refund, GET OUT! and don't EVER return since you are now Banned...PERMANENTLY!!!" If/when he bitches, I'd tell him "you've been told to leave, which means you are now Trespassing. You have 10 seconds to get your butt out the door before I call the Police and have you Arrested for Trespassing and Harassment...[wait a moment]...10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2 [pick up phone and dial] 1...Hello, Police...
What ever happened to live and let live, scumbag neighbors are the most maddening. I lived on a block with only 15 houses always wanted a block party, one house always said no, when the big lot across the street was sold 5 more houses were built, finally had our block party the one holdout all those years didn't participate
I would have shown Cheesesteak Guy his receipt, and asked him to point out where it said Cheesesteak on it. Then I would have given him three options: pay for a cheesesteak, or leave with his burgers, or get a refund and leave with no food.
@@deantodd8103 or fed the homeless? I love giving people the option they threatened but don’t actually want, but that doesn’t de-escalate much. I remember during the beanie baby craze that the homeless learned to camp out near the exit of some of the McDs. People were buying multiple meals just for the toy and would give away, or throw away, the meals … I see that as a win win where they were not being a nuisance, and most wouldn’t be because why cut off the influx of food!
I would have told him to return the burgers and I would refund his money. Depending on how big his ego is, he would have been in a spot. Had it been me, it would not have gotten that far because I would have told him to get out when he started swearing at staff.
@@chiefkickabitchoftheslapah9251 But if it did get that far, there still wouldn't have been much of a problem. All he would have had left was the Philly Cheesesteak. The players would have eaten the burgers. And he knew that he couldn't ask for a refund, replacement, or reheating of a Cheesesteak that wasn't on the receipt!!!
The first one, those are customers that you throw out of the store the second they start their attitude. No one needs to put up with that. And no one needs customers like that either, especially when you’ll never see them again.
Story #1: You fired me for telling the truth? For actually NOT being one of your dishonest minions of ill repute? Well...I'll might as well keep right on telling the truth to the people that control whether you have a job or not. Maybe...just maybe you'll learn your lesson someday that Karma can be a bitch, is patient, and follows one around. That's the thing about Karma...she always ensures things are balanced out, regardless of whether we directly see the results or not. Great job OP and great job RedWheel. Please keep creating these awesome (not heard on every other creators' channels) stories. I appreciate it :).
Regarding the 32 cheeseburgers and Philly steak story: I hope that someone explains to this imbecile that the quote "the customer is always right" is a tongue-in-cheek comment on macro-economics. At this point, I doubt that this customer understands the difference between macro- and micro-.
You work hard and are honest, why should he get away with it! Great stories, luv em! You have a great rest of the holiday, might see you later maybe, if not I'll see you in the morning, thank you!
I live in a college town w/a large University, it’s close to another University in another town plus 2-3 smaller colleges nearby. I’ve seen four to six busses parked in front of an Arbys getting food for a football team passing through.
Burger and cheese steak guy is lucky a friend of mine wasn't working there. A guy was giving my friend hell about his burger being wrong so my friend remade it for him. He peeled a scab about the size of a quarter off his arm and included it in the burger.
The OP in the first story is a jerk. I can see preventing someone who wronged you from getting a new job ONCE. There is a time to move on and let things go.

Theft of merchandise is a very serious crime. Any employer would shy away from any employee accused of it. Who's to say they won't be the next victim?

He l ready threatened to ask for a refund and no burgers.

Exactly! I would have honored his request and let the staff feast on some burgers.

That story has BS all over it for that reason. The RECEIPT.

I call BS on that story. They would have a receipt to prove one way or the other. It is also on the screen showing the order. So yes BS.

Hello from Poland Redwheel and everyone!!!
Hello Poland I'm from South Africa.
Where is the missing driver's license and logging story that was prefaced at the start of the video?

"Red Wheel" is just a name, like a rock lyric. It doesn't have to mean anything.
I would not have stopped on the first story.
