Suffolk County Police Rescue Boater Stuck In Ice

SCPD Marine Bureau and Aviation Bureau responded Tuesday afternoon after a 9-1-1 caller reported a boater who became stuck in/on the ice on Bellport Bay, just west of the Smith Point Bridge. SCPD Marine Unit "Mike" was able to gain access to the boater and tow him to open water.
