    My grandpa died when I was 7 years old.
    The only thing I remember him telling me, "never let anyone know if you're rich or poor. Some people target rich people, and some target poor people. If they never know, they'll never target you."
    I wish I would have had just a couple more years with him, being raised by a single mom, I can only imagine his advice as I had gotten older. Female advice is worthless.

    Way back in '92 my father was going through a divorce and his evil soon to be 3rd ex-wife hired a forensic accountant to investigate him to find out where he was hiding his money.
    It's hard to describe the utter dismay she experienced when the forensic accountant reported back that my dad had even less money that he'd been saying, not more.
    My dad was pretty much MGTOW after that. He learned slow but he did learn.

    This is the best advice ever. Not wearing your heart on your sleeve will keep predators away. History if full of people who had their lives destroyed because of this foible alone. Not showing your cards is also one of the 48 laws of power. It makes you more intriguing and mysterious as well.

    • @RoninMan
      @RoninMan  6 лет назад +10

      Thanks produceman13! Once you start implementing this in your life you'll look around you and take another dose of red pill. You'll see people all around you striving for validation from others and paying a huge price time after time. At the same time, human emotion and interaction is what makes life worthwhile so there needs to be a balance. And you will err at times. But compared to mindlessly exposing yourself to all and sundry you will be in a much better space than others. And you will get better at vetting people so you can go very deep indeed with good people who care about you. You actually go deeper, without fear and get a real connection when you filter out all the people who have bad intentions or are unable to control their mouths and do real harm without conscious intention

  • @elbehemoth386

    Ronin Man this is one of the best videos for someone going through the red pill rage. Hating women is a huge waste of time and energy and it leads to nothing positive. In the end all we can do is take care of ourselves and know how to play the game if you want to be involved with women. Otherwise just go your own way and be free.

    Kudos!
    This is indeed how it should be done, once she knows about how much you have TRUST ME she would want to spend it. My grandma's first advice for me since I first engaged 10 years ago was "don't tell her how much money you have". Period. And my grandma is over 90 now yet she was spot on, I didn't follow her advice, and it truly caused me a lot of trouble. Not that I don't want to give her money but her focus turned to be all about spending money.
    It goes without saying, this applies for the rest of the matters, don't tell her she got fat, don't tell her you feel jealous, don't tell her she is the only one in your life, ...etc.

      Amen. I'm not sure why men have such desire to blab this stuff. It's more fun to hold it in. It just feels right. When a guy blurts this stuff out, it feels so wrong. Like when you make a fool out of yourself in Jr High. After making a mistake, many guys tend to double down and share more things they shouldn't. It's like 3 wrongs will make a right or something. Anyway, if you slip, get physically out of the location. They might not even remember or might have been not paying attention. I've been saved by sloppy listeners. Just leave and revaluate. And be harsh on yourself. Call yourself out

    Ronin Man, this is tremendous advice. Flying below the radar is a wise move, especially when it comes to "flaunting" wealth, which in my opinion puts a target on one's back. Animals that stray from the herd can become victims by predators. We can remain independent minded and amass wealth, but I am unaware of any good that can come from being ostentatious or controversial. I would love to share your channel and red pill advice with my blue pill male friends but fear they would spite me for it so I remain silent.

    In honesty, i have stated my financial state to a woman. A pathetic attempt to impress. I can only believe it is residual belief or practice. However, education/knowledge is king. So appreciate you for the lesson. I am new to this but after a year post of being out of the mainstream, i am realizing my weaknesses and vulnerabilities. So for now I am staying alone until I have the skill set required to manage myself around females. My ignorance is vast... hypergamy? New term for me... definition was a shadow in my mind but now it is reality. I feel that I am too old and can’t afford being an investor. Realizing that women don’t want a partner but an investor... or more like investors. Sad that I have wasted so many years. Thanks for the talk and will integrate and assimilate.

      Joe Lucero - strength to you. Keep learning. One of the messages of RM is even though we were culturally set-up to be taken advantage of by women, that they in themselves (as individuals) are not to blame for how it is. This at least helps us to forgive ourselves for being such chumps for so long (30 years & two divorces in my case). I am very positive for young men having such wisdom so available as in the manosphere. They have never needed it more though. Best wishes to you sir.

Lol, you had me flash backing for decades of all the times I had the upper hand/ interest and completely lost them from saying too much or being to open with my thoughts. Especially with online dating. It all makes sense now. Love the advice about weight because I usually tell them and they don't do anything about it even if they say will. Wrong move. This is my missing link. Interesting stuff about the small mining town or whatever it was. I thought small towns with less options would be different in terms hypergamy. Thanks for this.

    • @rashb3994
      @rashb3994 7 лет назад +4

      +Ronin Man You're the new sensei by the way. Lol. Well in my teen years I studied my brother who was once a master. Women used to buy him stuff and fight over him in his 20's. He was a player. My Dad warned him about accepting gifts from non girlfriends and not being upfront. I watched it come back to bite him in the ass. This led me to being upfront about everything which was a gift and a curse. When I got older I just started talking to and getting advice from guys or friends that were outstanding with women. I had no problems asking a stranger how he got a hot girl if I saw him with one. Then I would do my own research on women, reading any book I could on them and then that book The Game came out and I watched and studied PUAs.
      Then I had multiple periods of mastery, especially one through Domming but recently I'm in limbo. Like I know too much now because of MGTOW and so I'm trying to process it all. But love still learning because I want to get back out there and apply this now because yes it's a study and as you've pointed out inadvertently there's a self-discipline in it.. On a sidenote I hope you talk about sleeping with married women one day. Guys need to know just how much they do it.

    This is a good idea and I have tried to put this into practice, but what if someone who is close to you, that you really don't want tell what you are thinking about asks you a question based on something you did. (For example: You were easily able to figure out what to invest in at a young age. Or you you know how to deal with aggresive people and talk them down before a fight happens and then actually know how to fight.) The reason you don't wanna tell them is because they will gossip to others you both know as well as use this new information about you to their advantage. How do deal with those types of prying questions? Especially if they ask you frequently, but not too much (they do this on purpose so you can't keep track of the times that they ask as easily and get suspicous)

      Healthy relationships require smart personal boundaries. And that requires knowing yourself well. Both require work but it pays off handsomely.

    How do you stop yourself from trying to help other men in need when they are taken advantage of? I see it happen all the time. Men getting verbally abused and dominated by a girl, for absolutely nothing. I just want to tell them that what they are going through ain't worth the trouble.
    I just saw the other day in a cafe, this one college student was surrounded by three girls. He was basically getting "consultation" on what to do to get with a girl he likes. He believes he is getting solid advice from these girls, but to me it looked like they were using this poor guy as some cheap entertainment. They were manipulating him to do all these simpy stuff, all the while laughing amongst themselves at the ridiculous lengths of what he would go through to have a chance with this one particular girl. They would read his texts, and giggle. He thinks he is getting good advice, and he is having a good time because they are reading his texts, and giggling. He thinks they were laughing with him. To me it was clear that they were laughing AT him..
    There was some kind of insidious sisterly dynamic going on with the three girls, but it was at an expense at this poor young lad.
    What do you think of these type of situations? How do you quell the urge to help in that moment? My whole life I've been thinking about how to be a good person, and I believe these guys getting advice from these girls are kind ppl that are playing by the rules. What's messed up is that they are the ones that get end up seriously hurt..

    • @RoninMan
      @RoninMan  6 лет назад +8

      Very tough call. I do it on a case by case basis. Mostly best avoided because the guy will usually turn on you. If you find guys asking you questions, then carry on but beware that brainwashing runs deep. Don't put yourself at risk unless the guy is begging for help. Unless it's your brother or very good friend. Then it's worth the risk but keep in mind that it usually turns against you. If you do well, others will come to your for advice. Best to wait as there will be an endless procession of guys getting skinned alive around you

    • @RoninMan
      @RoninMan  6 лет назад +7

      I usually help but I know that most guys will, tell the woman everything I told them. Guys just simply don't know how or why they need to protect themselves. They think that by sharing the details, the girl will be sympathetic and deal straight with them. So they can win her over. And when that doesn't work, they blame it on the guy who told them (tried to help them).I think it's worth it but I've lost access to many a married friend by trying to help him. Years later, when it all comes true, they say, "I should have listened...."

    Yo Ronin, what has been your method of deflecting financial questions? Obviously depends on context but how would you respond to high school friends for example asking you “so what’s is it you’re doing these days” or “what career route did you take” or “what do you do for a living” etc. It seems kinda social inept and shady to respond with, not important and switching topic

    • @RoninMan
      @RoninMan  3 года назад +1

      Girls asking? Older people like parents? Friends same age? How old?

    • @___Alexander___
      @___Alexander___ 3 года назад

      @@RoninMan I’m 22 myself. I guess you need a different answer for each group. Main groups would be girls, “friends” (I put this in quotations because there are tiers of friends, the inner circle I would be cool with telling what I do for a living but never the amount) and the final group would be family members yeah.

    • @RoninMan
      @RoninMan  3 года назад +2

      I guess i throw the question back to you. How do you feel about people asking financial questions? If you don’t like it and would prefer not answering them, you need to learn how to set personal boundaries. “I'm sorry, but it's personal.”
      “I don't know, sorry.”
      “I'm not able to answer that question, sorry.”
      “I'm not comfortable answering this question, sorry.”

    • @___Alexander___
      @___Alexander___ 3 года назад

      @@RoninMan interesting so would most people you know not even know what you do for a living? like day to day? Must have a very mysterious/shady veneer haha. I think answering something along the lines of “Just some online business stuff, its not important” if they ask how it’s going you can say “I’m just about making it work” this can be your answer regardless of how much you’re actually making, making 500k? “Just about making it work” .

    • @RoninMan
      @RoninMan  3 года назад +2

      @@___Alexander___ having personal boundaries is not shady, it’s healthy and normal. Not having boundaries is abnormal and usually a sign of abuse and trauma. All people have a right to share things they want to and keep other things private. You have no obligation to answer every questions you’re asked by anyone.
