Thank all for your comments I do read them All, I am genuinely surprised by the response of my work, I will be sharing longer versions of my maplestory animation, I know most of you are league of legends fans, but I did took a break from it as I felt it wasn't working for the audience. I might come back to it in the future once I will have my art spirit kicking back in for the passion.

The fidelity is AMAZING. I think the way you made the items, the weapons which exist exactly this way, the NPCs, everything is so lovely! Including the pop-ups, skills, it's so LITERAL, and this is the best interpretation of the game. omg. And the ambience is awesome.

Am from green country country called Latvia next to Russian boarder. although am living and working in UK now for past 13 years. As for my animation I am working on completing longer version video of maplestory adventures.

I have idea for a big beach but am not sure if this content would get much publicity i might do them in the future if there will be interest for it. ah when i look back myself on what i created I can see how that twin tail girl gets mad after ks, loved that process on creating that scene her angry expression is priceless.
Your perspective awareness is insane. Like seriously, I paused right away at 0:16 to go look at some of your other stuff too. Your work is the exact kind of thing people mean when they say you need to look at the bigger picture. All of the detail and little things make the end product amazing.
The nostalgia, the memories… shuffling up and down the rope to not get hit by enemies, the level up sound, the revive animation, everything… goddamn, that’s amazing

Thank you for you comment, after reading them all I do feel like my effort i put into making this, isn't wasted. There will be longer version that I am now in process of finishing in the near future, not sure how long will i continue or, if i will be making more after i finish my completed episode. I will have to see how community responds.
I gave my own design of the maps with new perspective holding it together, but i still left all the colour and layout as it was close to the game, on the longer version i will add some profile perspective scenes too.
Oho! is that good? i will have longer version so people can get more out of my world of animation i created. It takes time to get it completed since my frame by frame animation is done in this style by classic hand drawn animation. My lith harbor city is almost completed after that i will upload shortly it might be around September.
as a maplestory vet since 04 beta, i'm in my 30s now but still watching this brings me back so much nostalgia nad tears T_T thank u for htis. Everything was detailed and so accuarted to a tee it felt like i was in the game myself. I was also a mage player and seeing the map come to life was insanely beautiful. A moment worth remembering forever~ i loved how much detail u put in, down to the tee, even the items, and atk animatoins, monsters spwn etrc. ty for ur hard work!!! can't wait to see more maplestoryh work from u in the fduture~ keeping all of us old school players who have either grown old , have family, or left the game for a long time back together to reminsce about the good old dayss!
Hello mizuu, thanks for you comment, this was my very first only game i was very much invested in the world that maplestory offered. 2005-2009 was my prime days of mapling, I am myself over 30s now and doing animation is my hobby, am so happy i could share this work with so many people who loved the game as much as i did.
Your work is so wonderful. It really shows the essence of the games. Either MapleStory or League of Legends, you always successfully deliver such an art piece.
It's such a beautiful and cute Maple Story. Watching this video reminded me of my childhood memories again, and I felt that this work was more like Maple Story with a beautiful painting style. My first thought when I saw this is that it reminded me of the MapleStory art done by SAMSAM haha Super interesting looking take on that isometric perspective, I especially love how you imagined the entrance to Henesys being properly connected to it's surrounding area with no portal at 0:45 Wonderful work! ❤
SAMSAM drawing perspective gave me this nostalgic maplestory feeling from different angle and i just wanted to give life to her drawings, this was my very first work that i corporate with someone to create art/animation video. Also this is the very first time that I created very close to game itself and with all its skill expressive mechanics just added my own movement futures. Overall I am very please on how it turned out, Its very easy to notice maplestyory colours that i copy pasted from original game just to give organic feel to my work and honour the original wizet creator ideas.
The attention to detail is insane. Henesys hunting ground, the mage teleporting in town, the noobie hanging on the rope, you nailed all the little details. Great work! Please keep making more!
Yes that experience when u hit a monster that is way higher level then u and you have this under feeling that it hits back strong too so u run off from there :D.
우와... 게임이 아니라 살아있다는 느낌을 받았어. 평소라면 무시했을 법한 배경에 여러 호기심을 갖게 만든다. 파랑달팽이 옆에 있는 밭은 누가 일군것일까?, 마법사가 텔레포트를 하면서 어디로 가는 것일까? 등등. 게임할 때는 죽은 것 처럼 보인 배경이 살아 움직이고 있다는 점에 감동을 느낀다

I am happy to read that most of people like this style, wasn't a waste to draw and animate all this. Maybe in the future i will draw perion kerning city and other outside maps of victoria island.
I really like the bowman animation at 0:40 where a slime spawns on top of him and he's forced to do the melee attack with the bow. So many cool small details. The animation has so much soul, just like old school maplestory.
3-4 months of drawing work, but its only in my free time after i come off work. If i had time i could create even more related game animated videos. I will releases longer version of maplestory in the near future.

This is so good!!! I really like your decision to make it from a 3D "2.5D" perspective. You can portray so much more than if you had drawn it in the regular 2D perspective like the game

If i did standard 2d i think it wouldn't feel as fresh as this perspective. My goal was to capture the beauty and colours of maplestory from different side and to not take away its original charm.

잠깐이나마 메이플랜드 플랫폼 덕에 시간여행을 할 수 있었기에 행복하기도 했고... 그렇기에 그 시절의 나와 추억들이 더 그리웠음

If i did standard 2d i think it wouldn't feel as fresh as this perspective. My goal was to capture the beauty and colours of maplestory from different side and to not take away its original charm.
