Thank you for covering this. I was very disappointed when I heard Christopher Chong was leaving Amouage. I instantly thought to myself that the house was going to try and be more trendy and mass appealing in the future.

Black Iris, Overture, and Boundless are all amazing. Also enjoy Reflection 45. Need to discover some of the older ones now.
Amouage are definitely still in safe hands. Can't wait for the next one.
Enclave is my favourite Amouage and I should probably buy it at some time. Really nice, complex, yet mass appealing fragrance.

I just received Jubilation XXV and Naxos today from the Thanksgiving Weekend sales, and I must say GREAT recommendations!!! I pulled the trigger after doing my homework of course. I can't wait for suitable opportunities to wear both... I'm still considering adding Boundless to my collection. Keep up the good work. Peace...
Meander is beautiful and you smell it in the air more than on yourself. Legit catch it all day on me. Boundless is sexy. Amouage is an amazing house . I have 7 full bottles , so yeah 👍🏽
Thanks for the review! I have the same issue with Meander, after an hour I can’t smell it anymore. I’m waiting for Boundless and Overture, hope to have them soon. Finally, Enclave was love at first sniff.
How’s Bountless? How would you rank Enclave, Meander and Bountless in order?

@@AccentBwoy I have Meander and it easily lasts 6+ hrs. Not as nuclear as Enclave, but it does have strength

Amouage has some great scents! It’s either a hit or miss.
How many fragrances do you have, & where do you store all of them? Do you have enough space? An extensive collection like you have, seems like it would require an entire room to sufficiently display and enjoy! Peace & blessings from Athens, GA ✌🏾

Good reviews. Impressive honesty and good detail. Not sure about the Overture cumin. That is more off putting in Boundless which I struggled to get into. The earliest versions of it had the blood orange dominant. Later versions have the cumin and ginger notes too strong. Overture is more smokey ash tray, cognac and cinnamon but yeah not sweet like the others but gorgeous and obviously meant for niche lovers only. Meander has a performance problem as you said. As do most of the Amouage reformulations of late. They lost Jubilation, Memoir, Sunshine, Bracken, etc They watered all those great frags down. Just about every new Amouage has a performance and projection problem unfortunately. If you can get older used bottles thats the way to go.
10 years ago I sampled jubilation XXV at that time I didn’t like it because I was more into mass appealing designer Fragrance and ever since I didn’t bother buying or sampling any of their scent . Today I received overture man after doing some research I blind bought it after receiving the fragrance, I got the same vibe when I sampled jubilation XXV but this time I kinda like the smell and it didn’t bother me at all since I was looking for something more challenging and complex

Have you tried Amouage Material? It reminded me of the Killian Black Phantom! But Material is a lot better! And I think Material is better then boundless I just knew boundless would’ve been better but nope. But great Review!

Black Iris, Overture and Boundless are all fantastic. Meander I'm still trying to get used to, wish it was sweeter. Myths and Gold, I don't think I will like, ever.
Thank you!! My meander sample odor was like a leather saffron, 70%rose n mint. Im unhappy. ? A simple 50%blood orange, 20% myrrh and 30% oakmoss!! A simple 50%teakwood and 50% myrrh or green tea!! Polo red Parfum!? Find old Polo explorer! No to nudity. Tadpole. Unknown. Pry outside.
Amouage is my favorite house i own 8 of them at this time but i have yet to smell sny of the ones on this list i need to buy a 5 ml decant of all these real soon i just know i will probaly be buying all of them lol maybe thate why im.taking forever to get decant i will be watching my ml ey fly out my wallet lol.

Boundless is the 2nd lack luster buy I made this year. Don’t phone it I like Creed ; Amouage.

I have the same issue with Meander. Fantastic fragrance but I'm dissapointed in the performance. Seems like 1hr with me and it's gone. Sad because I have 17 bottles from Amouage and this is the worst performer. Luckily the bottle is beautiful so I won't mind carrying it around to re-apply lol. You should have went in to more detail on the dry down on Overture man. The opening is not for the faint of heart, but the dry down is prodigious.
I'm not sure what amouge I want . May be a unique mint smell 😍 I'm still lost
Beach Hut man - definitely has a mint accord on top of its woody fougère foundation.

Boundless dries down on my skin like Herod. They are both boring. Nothing special.
I went into the store to test Boundless, but came out of it embracing Xerjoff Richwood instead.Richwood is really nice. On my skin it is a way way more refined version of Honor Man. Honor Man came out boring on my skin, however, Richwood is full of life. It's the second best Xerjoff after Pikovaya Dama.
