    You did all that and then didn't show us the pH of your reef tank? It's very important to make sure your buffer solutions are recent because they do shift in pH over time, and if you're calibrating with old or expired pH buffers then you're not really calibrating at all.

      My tank sits right around 7.9 and 8.1 - that was actually 2 different tanks.. the Classic is my tank and the Apex 2016 was a few clips I grabbed while helping program an Apex last night! Great tip on double checking the PH solution is not expired!

    hey bro
    while calibrating the solution 7 it shoulding be near 7 mark, cause 7.3 or higher; that's be way off mark? i just calibrate my apex it did show the same range with 7 solution. while the 10 solution is pretty close to 10 ?

    where can a person get more info on the option/program language you can use to program apex

      The easiest way to just use the built in tasks to set up the common functions for you. If you want to get advanced you can do your own code, here's a bit of a guide on the basics www.neptunesystems.com/downloads/docs/Apex-Programming-Quick-Reference.pdf

    Is it a must to float in the tank of 25 degrees ???my tank is 26 degree

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  7 лет назад

      That should be fine. The important thing is that it's close to your tanks temp. This step will make it more accurate to your aquarium

    Its amazing how many people use dosers and never check the calibration or test the tank.

      @ReefDudes  7 лет назад

      Dee From Brooklyn so true! Should be something you check every once in a while!! Atleast every six months :)
