@@ohne_speed Yep its such a massive difference compared to the setup I was using from Coach Dave, much more stable and comforatble to drive. Got a PB on first lap with it. On a side note, what adjustments would you make if theres a mixed weather race?
@@itsDDDD Usually decreasing the rake with lifting the front and making the suspension softer, but 70mm is high enough already and the wheelrates are at the minimum, so i would just decrease the rear ride height a bit.
Very nice setup. I managed to get a 8:14 in hotlap mode with it but I am afraid you cannot drive full wing in a race without getting eaten on Döttinger Höhe. Will do some testing with less wing as it is also very stable as it is. I really like how it handles curbs. Thanks mate.
Thanks for the feedback, that is a nice laptime. I still have to learn and practice the track more. Full wing on the Nords is not the same as it is on other tracks, as the cars have low drag wings and splitters by default. According to my testing, a lower wing does not bring a significant speed gain over the straight.
@@Freezedevil1990 I know, but it is always a balancing act, eventually i'll probably make these extra stable and more drag oriented setups, so it'll be dependant on the drivers skill and situation. Please tell me your results when you've done testing. Thanks! :)
@@ohne_speed For me, I think wing on 9 and tc3 is a sweet spot (roughly 3kph more). Wing on 7 was a bit too wild and didn't add significant topspeed. Thanks again for the nice base.
Awesome setup, got a 8:15 also in hotlap mode. I'm faster with other cars, e.g. BMW, but this setup is the best drivable for the 992, it's absolutely stable. Perfect job @Ohne Speed.
Welcome, have fun racing with it. The TC1 is high to help save the rear tyres, rear tyre life is one of the biggest weakness of the Pork. Also usually it is barely or not slower than lower TCs.
@@ohne_speed I see, that happens to me, but I thought that raising it would make me much slower. If I understand correctly you still avoid tripping it at all times, but it's set up at 5 in case it accidentally turns on, so you don't destroy the tires, am I right?
@@efepalism Lower TC only makes you faster if you can control it without having mid-big slides, otherwise there is a good chance it will either result more tegdradation without any pace advantage, or even worse pace.
In the video settings, but that disables all mirrors, not just the onboard. I only do it for the videos because it's not needed here and saves me some FPS for better recording quality.
@@Themotorfan_29 It could,but not well. I have fine tuned 992 setups for many other circuits, they would work much much better. The 1.9.5 ones are sadly outdated due to major damper changed, but the 1.9.8 works perfectly.

How is it everyone else is starting from here? I start from the pit lane and on a lap I don't get in this area at all. So confused.
I started from the pits too, just turn right like on the normal GP circuit instead of left to the Nords, so you don't have to do a full outlap.
It tells you in the update mate to take a joker lap and loop around
