Sausage Green Bean And Potato Casserole Recipe

Cooking With Tammy Seasoning: cookingwithtammy.shop/
1½ lbs sausage kielbasa, andouille, or smoke sausage, sliced
2 lbs baby potatoes or baby creamer potatoes
2 15 oz cans green beans, drained
⅛ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup butter
1 cup onions chopped
3 cloves garlic, or 2 tbsp garlic minced
1 tsp Cajun Seasoning
1 tsp Creole Seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
½ tsp red pepper flakes
Preheat oven to 400° and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
Wash potatoes, if the potatoes are on the larger side, cut them in half and add to a bowl.
Add oil, seasonings, pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
In a large frying pan, add sausage and cook over medium-high heat until sausages have browned.
Remove sausage from the pan into a bowl and reserve.
Melt butter in a frying pan and add onions and garlic, cook until onions are translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
Add the garlic mixture to the potatoes, along with the sausage and green beans, and combine.
Cover with foil and place in the oven. Bake for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Carefully remove from oven and enjoy!

For me only....i would do everything as prescribed by Tammy, but I would pre-cook the potatoes, and cut them in half because I want that flavor to be absorbed inside, and then bake it all together ...now that's just me, her recipe is different and looks very delicious.

I would agree. I made it today for Thanksgiving, and had to cook it a little bit longer for the potatoes. They did not absorb the flavors as well as the rest of the dish, but it was still a really good recipe. Will definitely cook again.

Using canned green beans is a no-go; they’ll be mushy by the time the potatoes are cooked. Use fresh green beans always.

Congratulations on your merch line. Good move on the salt free seasonings. I always get salt free Creole/Cajun seasonings. I like to add more seasoning but then it would just get too salty. Do you plan on adding blackened seasoning? It's my favorite way to cook up a steak 🤤
