I started carnivore six months ago and I didn’t really know how so I just ate till I was full which I guess is “intuitive carnivore” and in six months I’m down 49 pounds and feeling great. I’ve never been a dieter so eating all I wanted just seemed natural to me. I’m 63, 5’1” and weighed 184, I now weigh 135!!!
@@catherinemccright1256 No Seed oils only butter or Lard. Yes hormones maybe I'm older 61 yes my meat of choice is lamb mostly because I found I struggled a Lil bit with beef digestion. After watching a few more videos I'm possibly undereating, definitely not enough fat(butter) can't wrap my head around giving my body fat when I already have enough 🙃 😅
I’ve been carnivore for over three years and I couldn’t lose a pound until I started eating in a 6 hour window and started lifting weights three times a week. The weight literally fell off when I did those two things. I’m 54.
I am planning on starting carnivore when I get paid next so I can buy my meat. I weight 400lbs and am 5'6 and 55yrs old. I also have had type 2 diabetes for over 20 years and need to get this weight off of me. I need to lose 250lbs. i look forward to the day when I can walk again. thank you so much for your vids.
There are carnivore women who've been where you're at, Limitless Lindy was one of the extreme cases, and Mairwyn who's been interviewed on Dave Mac's channel more than once. Our fine ladies in the USA look great, but often haven't gone as far down that road as where you're at now, but you're still not alone. It can be done, it HAS been done. Hey, I'm Jonathan Griffiths, a 29-year-old with a BSc in Human Nutrition from Bournemouth, Dorset. My journey as an amateur bodybuilder has been unique due to a fused spine from a rugby injury at 14 and my Autism. Despite these hurdles, I've found incredible success on the carnivore diet over the past four years, after other pain relief methods failed. I have since competed twice as a carnivore bodybuilder, with my recent showing on June 2nd 2024 where I placed first against an extremely competitive line-up. I am going to the British finals to try and earn my pro card in the open category in classic bodybuilding, as a disabled athlete. Meanwhile, I have had my spine fused in 2022, and various procedures to try and reduce the pain I am in. I am currently primarily a body composition coach in the carnivore community and have helped hundreds of people to reach their goals. The carnivore diet is my only option to try and thrive, and I love it! My diet mainly includes beef, salmon, chicken, eggs, cheese, milk, and butter. I avoid fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, seeds, oils, and sugars. I drink water, coffee, and bone broth. No calorie counting here, just focusing on around 350 grams of protein and fat each day for the past 4.5 years. In the beginning, I lost 5 pounds and felt a surge in energy, focus, and calmness. I woke up refreshed, with no cravings or GI issues. My workouts stayed strong, with better muscle pumps, vascularity, and faster recovery. The diet eased the pain and stiffness in my spine, giving me more freedom and comfort. It reduced my need for medications and improved my autism-related symptoms, like anxiety and mood swings. My social skills and communication also got better. Blood tests before and after the diet showed my liver and kidney damage from a virus had healed. My blood markers such as liver and kidney functions were normal, with no nutrient deficiencies or hormonal issues. This diet has been eye-opening, challenging many common dietary beliefs. I've learned that meat is highly nutritious and satisfying, and plants aren't essential or particularly beneficial for me. This is especially relevant given the genetic and metabolic traits seen in people with autism. I've stuck to the carnivore diet, with occasional treats like 'Hot Pot' and Korean BBQ, which I can cook myself at restaurants. On my RUclips channel 'Carnivore Muscle,' I share my carnivore lifestyle, training tips, nutritional advice, and recipes, building a community of fellow carnivores and inspiring others to try this way of life. I fully recommend the carnivore diet to anyone looking to improve their health, fitness, and well-being, especially fellow bodybuilders and those with spinal conditions or autism. In my view, it's the best way to enhance both body and mind. 💪🥩🚀
Wow...that's amazing! So glad you found carnivore. Thank you for sharing your story. It's truly inspirational. Love that you are helping others as well. ❤️
I do smoked turkey legs as I don’t eat pork (or shellfish) and I do chicken wings, otherwise poultry is just not filling to me But sardines/herring and anchovies are great besides salmon/mackerel As is lamb & venison even goat I love meat broth too. Filling meal w/butter & eggs stickblended into a steaming mug! I add s&p and vinegar too. I also do homemade 24hr kefir - from raw goatmilk if possible but any milk is made 1000x better if cultured. I would love to start making raw hard cheeses!
I love it when I recognise a fellow carnivore in the comments section! Hello Jonathan - I enjoy your Q &A videos with Stephen, Lee et al. It’s interesting to hear more of your back story and I am truly amazed and delighted for you, as you has improved your health hugely since living the Carnivore way.
I love how Kelly puts the text on the screen! It shows that she really cares about the content (and how we receive it), and also that she re-watches the interview when editing and adds the text content. I appreciate it! Thanks for all that you do!
Katie and Kelly are two level-headed WOMEN carnivores who've been there, done that. I love their approach to helping us other women know there's a way to making us feel better... eat meat, walk, get sunshine, and sleep (and all of that reduces stress, too). Great, great interview!
Thank you so much, Dana! I appreciate this comment, but even more than that, I appreciate you! You are so incredibly helpful to me, and to all of the group members! Thank you for everything you do to make this community so much better! ❤️
I've been doing carnivore for 5 months and only lost 16 pds. Of course, I had a couple of vacations which derailed me a little bit. I started walking a week ago and am back to pilates. I am post menopausal, so I feel like that is a lot of the challenge. I am going to see how walking changes things.
I have never slept well. 70 years old. The largesr I ever got was a size 12 but its been a fight my whole life. Low fat diets, weight watchers etc. Started carnivore and I lost enough weight to be a loose 10. Look and feel better.
Start tracking protein. My sleep was horrible until I started doing this. One gram of protein for every pound of ideal body weight. Sleeping like a baby now!
28:00 The photos of people at the same weight but more muscle are incredible and that's what people need to see to understand what could be happening when they're not losing weight
The photos also show that women look so much better with long hair and not the tight black sports bra. Those women would look best somewhere in between with a little more on top.
Mostly i think, looking at these pictures, i think..... mmmh... for a woman🤔?? Somewhere in between! As a man i hate chicken legs. Too fat isn't good... but too skinny also don't look good for a woman. Feeling good is good👍🏻.... But i don't like the before and don't like the after too...
I lost my husband unexpectedly in February. I am dealing with depression and loneliness right now. No energy, sleep or appetite is my current life. I just don’t care. I need to lose at least 60 pounds and I know carnivore is the way to go. I know that I would feel better physically and mentally but emotionally I think why bother. Your videos are very inspiring and I hope that I can join your group sometime.
Nothing is better for depression than eating steak. I just broil them in a little square pan lined with foil on top of a little square cooling rack. A couple of minutes each side and done. Top with butter and turn a bowl upside down over it to let it "rest." Pour out the rendered fat over the steak and ball up foil. I only have two things to wash (rack and plate). If I'm not hungry I save the leftover steak cubes for another breakfast meal. Sometimes I melt a couple of tablespoons of butter and swish four egg yolks around in the hot butter. I make a baking sheet of foiI lined bacon at a time and save the bacon grease for difference in taste sometimes. Shrimp or sardines or baked salmon for change. I added 1/4 lb. of liver a few days out of the month. I love baked chicken wings (bacon wrapped). When I get tired of steak I eat baked hamburgers in my little foil lined pan I read a lot (and talk to myself), pray and go to church. This is how I have survived (so far) the death of my husband. I also started eating a couple tablespoons of salted butter before bed. I never have insomnia anymore. Never get up to pee anymore in the night. It is almost coma-like sleep. I feel so energetic when I wake up. I understand the "I don't care" feeling but THIS no thought, robotic way of eating takes a lot of pressure off your brain with shopping and planning meals when you just don't care anymore.
I definitely needed to watch this today. I have been struggling with my weight since I was a child. At 51 years old, I went on Keto and lost 110lbs in about 8 months or so. I was getting close to my goal weight, when I suddenly hit a stall. I started eating less and still do Keto, but I actually gained weight. Thank you so much ladies ♡. Blessings and Shalom
Parents need to seriously be concerned. This is so unfair to a child to give them weight issues the rest of their lives. Our niece says oh but my one year old great niece “likes sweet” , but she’s sadly obese for her age? Kids DO NOT know or understand what is good and bad for them. It’s up to us!
"Little sleep, little eating, little moving. . Want to be Little!" Exactly describes me after 2+ years carnivore .. Have lost 90#, but.. still not where I want to be in weight/ fitness ( just turned 70).. great talk!
I’m down 40 lbs, walk every day, in the gym 6 days a week, sleep great (thanks blue blockers!) and realized the weight really dropped once I stopped lying to myself. You know, that one cookie here, that glass of wine there, the little mini chocolate bar bc the maid left it on my hotel pillow. Nope, those little bites were derailing me. I got serious - meat, water, salt & tallow or butter & BOOM! my body got the message & started doing her thing (yes, including sleeping). Yesterday in the driveway, a neighbor said “Boy you look good!”. Twenty minutes later, so did another neighbor. Sometimes I can’t see the change bc the scale isn’t always reflecting it, but others around me see it & I let their eyes show me. I also got “styled” at a boutique recently. (I had just been getting the tailor to alter things until she couldn’t anymore bc I’d dropped enough). The stylist brought out things I’d never have considered bc she wasn’t seeing through my body-dysmorphia eyes. She could see I wasn’t “that” size anymore, she could see my waist and calves taking shape & encouraged me to try things that flattered my new shape, instead of “hiding”, like I’d been accustomed to. So, I got real with myself & let others help - a good combo for me.
I needed to hear this about the little things here and there! I’ve been strict carnivore with the only exception being a glass of wine here and there ( once or twice a month). I’ve been frustrated with the lack of body changes in both weight and appearance but maybe the 2 glasses of wine are derailing me? Thank you for your honesty in your experience, hoping it’ll work for me too!
What a great chat! You'll hug one day and get to share a photo with us. Thanks for the lovely shout out and adding a picture of Katie and I in the video!
I love you, buddy! Thank you for previewing the video and for taking time to comment. It is always a better video if you have a part in it, and I was so happy to add your smile to this one! ❤️
Im 5’1. I started with 1 g per 1 lb of ideal body weight. I eat 112 g protein or more. It’s only around 1600 calories ( which I don’t count) its typically a 65/35 or 70/30 if I check. I exercise a lot because I like too. I love it. I am strong. I look younger. I do jujitsu several hours a week at 61 years old. Great interview
@@maureen3770 I eat 3-4 bacon and 3-4 eggs for my first meal. For my second meal 12 ounce beef patty and 4 ounce patty sometimes with cheese and egglife wrap. Sometimes I add butter.😊
Great comment/report Gram! I also love to exercise, yet had backed way off because my intake wasn't working well w/my output, so to speak. I didn't seem to be able to get in enough fat & protein to fuel my activity, & was not willing to force more food in my face, thinking it had to be a natural hunger or I wasn't doing it. After listening to these two women talk about slow, steady incremental increases, I'm realizing this could be the answer for me~ as well as eating earlier & more than once a day. I was so caught up in wanting that omad autophagy, I couldn't see the forest for the trees, so to speak. Happy to hear of your joy w/where you're at. AwesomeSammy in AZ
Life long carb addict. M-Th desk job. Started carnivore 6/27/24. Turned 60 7/11/24. Today, 8/18/24, I'm down 27 lbs and 9 inches off my waste. I found that the days the scale did not go down, I measured. I was losing inches. The days the scale went down, my waste stayed the same. Fri- Sun I'm very active and can go upwards of 36 hours and not want any food. I just have eater and electeolytes. I'm not so focused on the number on the scale now, but the numbers on the tape measure are now my goal. Thank you for introducing "intuitive carnivore".
I reverse dieted during May, June and July and increased my daily calories from 1900 per day on average to 2400 calories on average and did not put on any weight at all. I proved to myself that my TDEE is in fact approx 2450 calories per day. I didn't continue the reverse diet as I had started to drop 2 lbs per month while eating about 2400 per day. Now I'm actively eating an average of 2,000 per day over the course of a week, with some days being low and others being high depending on whether or not they are gym days. I will monitor my measurements over the next three months and ensure I'm still losing body fat. The next time the weight loss stalls for a period of 1-3 months, I will definitely reverse diet back up to 2400 calories and start the cycle again.
Eating more calories is HUGE when we have been brainwashed our entire lives. Just recently started tracking macros and have seriously been under-eating for years. Thank you so much for sharing your journeys and for your encouragement.
@@joanneroundhill1796I have used the free version of Cronometer (app and/or web version) for years and have loved it. I also use it to track my micronutrients to ensure I get enough of certain vitamins and minerals I track too.
You really spoke to me in this video - thank you! I’m 68, battling cancer & the good that I feel when I treat myself when chemo is so hard. I want to start this way of eating but am petrified of gaining weight as I’ve been yo-yo dieting since the age of 12. Thanks for listening!
That's me! I eat, then I stop, not hungry. Move yes, not so much on work days, long haul truck driver. 64.5 yrs old. Tried to eat well all my life, then went on sugar going through menopause (50's). All the sudden I'm weighing in at 260 lbs. My sleep is good when I eat meat, about 6 each night.
I listen to my body, 2 months in. Sometimes I need more and sometimes I need less. My tummy has transformed and my empty to full is improving & changes daily.
What I took away from that in the end, was I have always had a healthy appetite, I was just eating the wrong foods so gained Fat. So as to not shock my body, I’ll increase back to where I should be slowly, I am already doing the same with carbs. Feeling empowered to get my health back!
Thank you so much for this! Very informative! I'm a undereater and I am struggling. I'm 55, I had been dieting the old fashioned way for roughly 25 years and not getting anywhere! I finally lost some 40lbs on ketovore and OMAD over a year or so then I stalled. For months. Months! And I still have 80 lbs to lose! I wasn't trying to restrict calories, I was eating until I felt full and ate again when I felt hungry. I finally started counting calories and found that I was maintaining on 850 calories a day!!! I'm 5'10"! The power of ketovore (I was eating less than 10g of net carbs daily) got the first 40lbs off but there's only so much it can do when I'm eating so little. Now I'm slowly upping my daily calories and the scale finally started to budge again after 1 week of 1250 calories! According to my TDEE calculations my BMR is in the 1700 range so I'll keep increasing little by little until I find the sweet spot for me.
This is absolutely awesome! I am so proud of you and happy for you! Congratulations on losing 40 pounds, and congratulations on putting in the hard work now to figure out how to keep that ball rolling. It can be such a hard and scary thing for people to eat more, and they just want the scale to go down, but like you, many people just won't get any further results until they take the time to eat a little more and repair the metabolism. I am so excited that it's working for you! Please keep me poste! ❤️
@@YeshuaKingMessiah yes, I am fortunate in some things, less so in others. With my height comes size 11 1/2 feet! 😖 Don't get disheartened, you can conquer this and reach your goals. The road you take will be different than mine but with information, perseverance and conviction, you will succeed!
@@joancarsey9876 Lucky you! I'm hoping that with less weight my arches, which have flattened over the years, might bounce back a bit and I could maybe lose half a size! Finding shoes that fit is a nightmare so I tend to wear a lot of men's boots and sneakers. 😕
I so agree with that statement “slow down,”, enjoy your food, treat it like it is an elegant experience, set a lovely place for yourself at the table and turn off the tv and social media..We are all in such a hurry but just that simple change can change the course ❤ 🥩
This is 100% me. I'm 53 and started dieting at 13. For 40 years, I've struggled with my weight. I've dabbled in ketovore for about two years and am, finally, taking the plunge into carnivore. Eating more well be a challenge, but I've learned how many calories I need to target as well as that >60% fat ratio so I'm feeling confident. THANK YOU!
This describes me to a T! The issues of not sleeping well, gaining weight and too tired to exercise I’ve attributed to menopause and hypothyroidism. The takeaway is to get healthy before losing weight and everything else takes care of itself. Thanks for making this video! ❤
Great video! You guys are helping so many people. I have no doubt there are just as many men as there are woman watching these carnivore videos. Everyone wants to be healthy. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching, Stewart! I have quite a few men in the groups, so I think you are right! The men in the groups do not tend to under eat as much as the ladies, but I have seen it before. Everyone needs proper nutrition! Thank you for watching, and taking the time to reply. ☺️
I'm a snacker. If I feel tired I drink water first then I eat bites of meat all day. I don't do meals. It keeps me energetic and satisfied. I'm 58 years old. I can't believe how good I feel. No more joint pain!! just keeping it simple and doing what works for me. My sister sat too much on carnivore, so many questions. It was clear to me. Keep moving your energy, and your body will love it. Simply do what you know is right stop fighting it.
@@myzerocarblifeI love all of your videos, but I am a bit confused about how much I should be eating. I am new at this. Six days in . I am 5”2, started at 138, and I am now 125. In one of your other videos, you said that 1.2-1.4 G protein per KILOGRAM desired body weight (115), so I have been eating about 73 g of protein, 129 g fat, 1812 calories. Is this correct or should I be doing 1g:1lb which seemed like way too much food for my body to consume in one day without feeling sick I also run and workout.
This is what I needed to hear today. I know I am not eating enough. I do plenty of moving during the day. I am a kindergarten teacher, but I am sooo tired! The part I struggle with the most is planning ahead, so I will have the right foods to eat.
Cook ahead and freeze, nook and enjoy! I’ve been doing that n it helps.. breakfast and lunch/dinner. ❤ I cook things more rare side bc when I microwave it, it will be overcooked.
What a great interview! Very helpful info that I hadn’t heard and I’ve listened to many carnivore channels. And I’m hearing Katie for the first time! Love you both! Thank you!!!
I am one of these women! I had anorexia and Then bulimia for several Decades, then became vegetarian and was a bit more stable (but was drinking wine with each dinner). 2 years ago, age 69, I stopped drinking (cause it got out of hand...) and then I fell Completely into cookie binges. I used berberine to not put on much weight - just a few pounds - but I felt like a complete food adddict. So I started carnivore a week ago, feeling good mentally, way more free from food, but physically I feel fully exhausted, I have zero energy, like my body has no muscles... even when I wake up in the morning, I don't feel Rested. I will join your coaching class, and am so great ful to connect with women here in this group! ❤️🙏
It is going to take time to transition. When I started carnivore I looked at my meat meal and was nauseous. After a month that feeling went away. There can be many transition symptoms that are not pleasant. However, joining the group will be such a good support and source of practical information. All the best.
Please don’t give up. I’m now 64 and had over 2 decades of anorexia and then bulimia, then years of low fat / high fibre which lead to malnutrition ( same bodily feel as when I had bulimia, yet eating a ‘healthy’ Mediterranean style diet). At 57 I discovered Keto and have transitioned to strick Carnivore over the years, but must confess I felt TERRIBLE in the early days! It took well over a year for me to get energy from fat. I was very damaged but am now fully mended and it’s fantastic. Take your time and be kind to yourself.
I had a good week and then two of feeling terrible before feeling amazing when I started carnivore 2 months ago. They call it keto flu and it’s your body adjusting to not having carbs to burn.
Do a test: Drink one cup of salty broth or some pickle juice or whatever to get a lot of salt. If you feel better within and hour or two, you are fatigued because of low electrolytes which often happens when dropping carbs.
Ladies, thank you for circling back! Yeah, this is me!! My sleep is not as good as it should be. Finally getting lots of sunshine & Activity. Will try the CarbMaster :)
This one is fabulous!! So many women are so scared to reverse diet! I started my reverse diet and have actually lost some weight where I know have to add more to my macros. Happy that my clients know I wouldn’t steer them wrong with this approach. Trust the process but it’s hard to unlearn old diet mantra! Thanks ladies!!
I am glad you mentioned calories matter because they do! So many influencers online who will try to preach “eat as much as you want! You’ll be fine!” Trust me, if I ate as much as I wanted (4lbs of meat a day) I’d be a whale
Totally agree over the moving! For the first two month I struggled so badly to even reach 1800 cal when I should be at least 2200. Started upping my electrolytes and taking liver capsules, got a boost of energy, started daily walking and now I can much more easily reach 2200.
Oh my.... I'm watching this too late at night. I am totally that post menopausal woman who gets too little sleep, eats too little & has hardly any energy to move. I've been carnivore for 7 months yesterday. Lost some weight in the beginning but not enough. I have several health issues that i do see healing, Slowly. But they are healing. All that to say, Thank you for this awesome chat. But I'm going to sleep now (it's 11:30pm) & finish this in the morning. And i think I need to actually dign up to get help & encouragement.
Okay finally got to watch the whole thing and absorbent and obviously I don't eat it nearly enough. I have been known to go for length of time because I'm not hungry eating about 600 calories a day. So I'm working on increasing how much I eat. But I will say it has been hard. I used to make homemade bread all the time and I miss my bread. But it wasn't helping me. This chat was extremely helpful thank you so much!!
I have a friend who believes women should only consume 1200 calories a day. I told her that's not good. But she sticks with her belief..and isn't losing weight.
Thank you kelly for addressing the bariatric issues. I am going to attempt the reverse diet, been keto for 6yrs and gaining weight back. Time to get serious!
Thank you for encouraging that we walk walk walk. I'm recovering from recent knee replacment surgery and just now starting to walk more outside. It will be awhile before I can get back to classes at the gym, so I definitely need to be walking more.
I was waiting for this interview with Katie. A very good interview @Kelly 😊 I would like to suggest that if one can not walk due to orthopedic issues, walking & stretching in a swimming pool is a good alternative too.
I filled out a TDEE with the app carb manager and realized I was way under eating, especially fat. I don't pay for premium or anything, just use the free version of the app and I have been able to actually see how much of protein/fat/carbs I am actually consuming and it has helped so much. I was stuck at 180 lbs with just a carnivore diet, and with this app and going more ketovore, I have been able to get down to 174 lbs but the fat on my body is changing and toning up tremendously. I walk every day and do simple weights and nothing changed while doing strict carnivore and not looking at the protein to fat ratio.
Wonderful video! Thank you! So much good info! I started carnivore Jan 2024. Have not lost any weight but sure feel better. Then in July I started oxalate dumping with an itchy rash! Has not gotten much better. It is awful! Following Sally Hogan’s book by trying to add some oxalate foods back in. Seems to help a little bit but I feel other things like inflammation coming back. It is frustrating because I really do well with carnivore. I do want to lose like 20-25 pounds too. I love listening to your videos ! You bring so many wonderful guests! Thank you for all you do!
I love the timing of this video. I finally realized a few weeks ago that what I was eating(mostly OMAD) could never be enough. Against what everyone around me thought, I decided to double what I was eating. I decided to stop practicing intermittent fasting and had myself eat something already in the morning. I feel so much better. I get that some need to increase little by little, but I tend to be an "all or nothing" kind of girl. Ha! I added the extra meal and even a light lunch if hungry along with the dinner I was used to eating, and I am only up by around a pound after more than 2 weeks. I feel so much better, though, and have a lot more energy, so I've been doing my computer stuff at the treadmill again. We'll see what happens, but I wouldn't be surprised if I started to lose weight even without lowering food amount again. There are a lot of us who have watched what we ate for years and years and our hunger cues are thrown off by dieting/intermittent fasting/OMAD, etc.
I agree on the undereating. One thing that affects my eating is summer in a hot humid area. My activity level is definitely lower! Less challenging. But I don't seem to lose muscle. And I need to eat more cold things, like hardboiled eggs, homemade mayo with leaner meats like chicken or even turkey. (But for some, this can make some eat less than they have to) Basically we need to test on ourselves and be willing to change, depending on pur situation. Because I know, as it's my 4th summer as cv, I eat very different, as soon as 'normal' weather arrives - and my activity level change as well... And my body responds different to the food...
I'm thinking on starting the Carnivore diet but I have a bad back & neck injuries so I can't go do alot of walking nor workout but want to! I'm hoping as I lose weight I'm able to move more so I can!! I'm 58 and in perty bad shape and have nothing to lose now! I'm still learning this way to eat and it will take time to change and eat up what I already bought etc... and changing ad I get $ to buy meat only! But I'm getting excited and hope again! Cause I've done everything but Carnivore diet and failed! But this makes sense and look forward to this change I so badly need!! It's hard cause if u have nothing to keep going on for it's hard to make yourself even do even thow u need to! But I keep praying and trying to change it all! Gbu and your show!! Michelle
I’m 50 years old and am only hearing this info for the first time. Everyone says I don’t eat enough. I thought I was supposed to eat less. But I still have 100 lbs to lose.
I'm only 5 minutes into the video and already can't wait to dive in. I work 2-3 hrs overtime 5 days a week, watch my grands 2 days, I over caffinate, I may get 5 1/2 hrs sleep a day sometimes in 2 different naps. I'm 60. Of course I'm stressed on top of that. 😅
I love this video so much! Thank you, ladies for this awesome share! I can't tell you how many women I've spoken to who are so afraid to add food because they don't want to gain weight. There's so much undereating going on. This is great advice! ✨🔥👏 Love you both! 💪💕

I know you've LIVED the under-eating nightmare, and you have shared about it beautifully and publicly. Thank you for your transparency and for taking the time to comment, Serena. ❤️
Kelly, you are the best. I love how sympathetic and thoughtful you are. I can totally relate to the under-eating issue. It’s such a trap, even to some of us who are younger and have never intentionally calorie restricted. I have always eaten until full because I despise the feeling of being overly full. When I started checking how much I was eating, I would eat between 1400 and 1800 calories when I ate until full. That was terrible because I was exercising hard about 5-6 days a week and breastfeeding! I would always try to eat more, but I struggled to do it long-term. Finally last year I forced myself to eat 2500 calories for a month. I started being hungry for it and it’s much easier now. That eventually enabled me to lose 26 pounds. I still have about 65 pounds to lose but I’m making progress slowly. I appreciate all your suggestions because I am the Queen of Stall! I’m 15 months carnivore and trying all your suggestions for keeping the weight coming off. Thanks so much!
Thank you ladies! I have been carnivore for 18 months and lost 20kgs. I still have another 20 to go but just couldn't move the scales for 6 months . Unknowingly I was " intuitive carnivoring". I blamed menopause an hypothyroidism issues i have. So i checked my tdee. I was eating too much fat and protein 3 days later the needle is moving down again. 🎉
This is totally me. I’ve tracked every so often and realized how little I eat and have for as long as I can remember. Turns out when I eat and sleep my body relaxes.
Those pictures are incredible and I can see that is where I am heading. I'm at my goal weight now and can see body is shapeshifting, but I can't get rid of insulin resistance, do keep tweaking to get there 14 months in
Finally! The great realisation that we don't eat calories. Or fuel. Or energy. We eat FOOD. And the the body decides whether to build something, use it as fuel, store it, or throw it away. The amount of food is not that important. But you have to heal first. And to do that you need to find out what makes you inflamed. And what destroys your mitochondria. It's not done over night, so you go, girls!
The funny thing for me is, I did the TDE and it was telling me to eat about half of what I was eating at the time. It seemed that what it was telling me to eat was almost nothing in comparison. I have a huge appetite for someone that isn't morbidly obese. I can easily eat 3-4lbs of meat daily, but I don't because I actually gain weight and get fat when I do. 2lbs with a late egg snack has been the only way for me to break the weight loss plateau.
I can’t afford to buy beef. I’m buying a lot of chicken and pork belly. When I’m on carnivore,,, I’m not on now. is that ok to do for now? I have a horrible relationship with food. I’m exhausted all the time. I’m going to commit to this! Ohhhh burger patties so good! I just noticed you talk a bit about bypass people. That’s me! I have failed at every diet. Fit and Healthy! Yes!
This is awesome..especially the photos..I weigh about 5 lbs less than when I began 8 months ago..but I look way different..thanks for the photos especially.
I have been strict carnivore for 10 months and have yet to experience any significant weight loss. I also work out with a trainer multiple times per week. I'm stronger and fitter, but still weigh the same, at approximate 50lb over my target weight. From a high of 189, I now weigh 173 but have been stuck there for months. I do eat plenty of food, aiming at 130g of protein per day. I sleep great, no stress to speak of, blood work is great for a carnivore.
Awesome info ❤. You girls rock 🎉 started carnivore about 6 weeks ago and feel amazing: I havr managed to get friends along for the ride. I have been weight training for a year and am stunned at the muscle growth since starting carnivore 💗

I do smoked turkey legs as I don’t eat pork (or shellfish) and I do chicken wings, otherwise poultry is just not filling to me
But sardines/herring and anchovies are great besides salmon/mackerel
As is lamb & venison even goat
I love meat broth too.

Everyone grieves differently. Give yourself some grace.
I am so sorry
So sorry sweetie, maybe fill your time with a new pet❤ walking a 🐕
Nothing is better for depression than eating steak.
So sorry for ur loss! Seek the Lord and take care of u be gentle
Don't apologise for talking to much. We love you just the way you are❤❤❤❤

That is a great story. Go you!!
Yay! It is awesome that you had someone to help style you!!!

Great comment/report Gram! I also love to exercise, yet had backed way off because my intake wasn't working well w/my output, so to speak.
That is very interesting
Crazy. I need to eat more. Try it out. See how it works out for me.
We just got off a cruise and hubby and I asked for two meats and no sides and they were SO accommodating!!!! No one ever questioned us!

Going low carb or carnivore will suffocate cancer. Cancer grows with Gluclose/sugar
All of a sudden you woke up at 260. Getting better requires honesty with yourself. That’s like years of American diet.
Not all of a sudden. ✌🏼😬
I listen to my body, 2 months in. Sometimes I need more and sometimes I need less. My tummy has transformed and my empty to full is improving & changes daily.
Liked "That's solid" as a mindset, I strive reach that everyday in every way
What I took away from that in the end, was I have always had a healthy appetite, I was just eating the wrong foods so gained Fat.

Thank you dear!

I eat plenty
Haven’t slept in 20 yrs
Insomnia is a hell
HRT was a game changer for me....safe for 90% of women.
@@YeshuaKingMessiah I'm so sorry. Are you doing carnivore & is there any change at all??
Okay finally got to watch the whole thing and absorbent and obviously I don't eat it nearly enough.
I have been known to go for length of time because I'm not hungry eating about 600 calories a day. So I'm working on increasing how much I eat. But I will say it has been hard. I used to make homemade bread all the time and I miss my bread. But it wasn't helping me.
This chat was extremely helpful thank you so much!!
Perfect! Tysomuch for you being you and the information we receive from your guests!
I have a friend who believes women should only consume 1200 calories a day. I told her that's not good. But she sticks with her belief..and isn't losing weight.
😢
I am angry that people have told women are *just supposed to do (yada, yada). Where did they get permission to tell women anything?
@@fronniebealer7808 not sure
I couldn't sustain a friendship with someone so dim, bravo 🎉
Carnivore is a fruedian slip diet...you have to eat fat to lose fat lol
Your names make for a Wheel of Fortune Before & After puzzle!
Great video and very informative. Thank you ladies!
Wonderful video, so helpful and inspiring- thank you girls 😍❤️
I was waiting for this interview with Katie. A very good interview @Kelly 😊
I would like to suggest that if one can not walk due to orthopedic issues, walking & stretching in a swimming pool is a good alternative too.
I don't know anyone that pays for the advanced calorie counting apps! Keep up thr good work.
I always fought with Carb Manager
It wanted me to eat less cals lol
I wish undereating was a thing with me!
That’s true, why pay! Question , when u plug in the weight for tdee, do u put your actual weight or ideal weight?
Thank you, Kelly for another inspiring video! Katie was a lovely and motivating guest. ❤
❤ Thank you for the encouragement to eat more based on the fuel my body needs to maintain, trust the process and stick with it. ❤
Ok ladies. I. Putting my scales away and im picking up a couch. Thankyou both. I needed this chat.
Thank you so much for helping others ❤
Going to try to start!
One of those who eat very little!
Intuition is difficult after going on soooooo many kinds of diets!
I'm an emotional eater it's I feel like I eat every feeling. It's very hard.
(But for some, this can make some eat less than they have to)
Basically we need to test on ourselves and be willing to change, depending on pur situation.
I'm 62 and list 30kgs ,you can do it❤
Such an awesome interview… you both are truly inspiring :)
This is SO helpful!!!
Oh yes I love all of this😍 Real women real talk. i eat Airfryer meat bars every day. Mine are small balls 🤣
I love this video so much! Thank you, ladies for this awesome share! I can't tell you how many women I've spoken to who are so afraid to add food because they don't want to gain weight. There's so much undereating going on. This is great advice! ✨🔥👏 Love you both! 💪💕
LINDA!!!! Thank you so very much for taking the time to watch and share your experience and support. You're such a QUEEN in this space, and I'm honored to call you my friend. Thanks for watching. ❤️
@@myzerocarblife I absolutely adore you, Kelly! You're out here changing lives every day and I am just in constant awe, you know this! Thank you for being a friend... 🎶🎶 ♥️♥️♥️
Such a great interview with 2 of my favorite carnivores!❤
Alway great interviews. Thank you Kelly!
💘Really enjoy your videos. Thank you🥇And you’re energetic personality is adorable🤗no worries!
Those pictures are incredible and I can see that is where I am heading. I'm at my goal weight now and can see body is shapeshifting, but I can't get rid of insulin resistance, do keep tweaking to get there 14 months in
Wow
Katie Kelly
L 👀 K S better
at 41
then she did
at age 22.
Im really impressed.
Thank you ladies.
Inspirational! Thank you❤
So eye opener!! I think that this video will change my life...
Starting reverse dieting today!
Great chat, love the energy of Katie and Kelly. I was inspired by the same weight pics.
Thank you so much! You all are inspiring a lot of people & helping all of us along the way!
Yes!
Loved this Katie Kelly Hogan mash-up! 😁
So glad you found this girl
What a fab video, food freedom is what I have been looking for and freedom from the 1200!
This is awesome..especially the photos..I weigh about 5 lbs less than when I began 8 months ago..but I look way different..thanks for the photos especially.
I met Katie the same time I met Karen! Now I need to meet Kelly!!!!
Wow! I downloaded your PDF recipe book, Katie Kelly. Thank you SOOO much. I'm new to carnivore and this is so helpful! Now, back to this video!
Fantastic conversation!
Thank you Ladies ❤
Fabulous interview!! I used Kelly's TDEE and it was so helpful💕
Love this!!
What an awesome video. I love both of these women and appreciate their no nonsense, simple approach to health..😁
I have been on carnivore for a year And I haven’t lost any weight. I have hair fall, struggle with sleep, no energy. I will try this. Thank you!
More fat, less protein.
