I’ll always appreciate the relationship between Gibby and Durzub! Most stories would do a “will they or won’t they get together” which resolves at the end. But I find the fact that they do love eachother and they face obstacles and challenges together as a couple much more engaging and seeing their bond grow and develop accordingly very heartwarming! Major props to Monty and Sarah for their acting, as well as the rest of the cast for how they interact with their relationship as well!
The starting encounter was great, tense and cinematic as hell, with an awesome finish 🤩But combat was not the only thing that shined through the episode; I very much liked Gibby's coming to terms with what happened and her entire scene with Durzub, wholesome and very much in-character ❤Others had good social scenes as well! And as usual, for the algorithm!
I have to say, it’s hilarious that Monty has such an innate hatred of firearms that she has the guys using crossbows in this chase, yet she treats said crossbows like firearms. A crossbow bolt has too much surface area to be fired even remotely accurately from a moving car. The wind would throw it so far off course you’d be lucky if it didn’t just hit you. And they most certainly don’t have enough velocity to knock a car mirror off. She likes the idea of firearms yet hates firearms. I find that notion ironic.
@@a_cynical_mad_man_vods She’s Canadian. They have some of the strictest gun laws on the planet to the point where the only firearms not outright illegal to own under virtually any circumstances are pump action shotguns and bolt action rifles. Even those are heavily restricted. It’s not just in DND, she’s been programmed from birth to hate firearms in general.
@@LetsQuackAboutIt To my knowledge, most of your gun control laws come from the 1977 Criminal Law Amendment Act. This act prohibits the sale of automatic firearms, sawn off shotguns, and sawn off rifles to anyone except the police and military with few exceptions. Purchasing a firearm at all requires a firearms acquisition certificate and is not a constitutionally protected right. Purchasing a handgun requires a registration certificate and only a select group of people can obtain one including security personnel, firearm clubs, bona fide gun collectors, and people who can prove their need for one for self defense. Even then, the magazine capacity is limited to 10 rounds (which excludes most handguns in existence, including some revolvers; although ironically not ones like the Desert Eagle). Hunting rifles and shotguns are also limited to a magazine size of 5. While semi-automatic rifles such as the infamous AR-15 are very popular hunting rifles for small game (or even large game if you chamber it in .50 Beowulf), this is prohibitive for most of them. There’s a lot more to it, including storage measures so strict they would get me arrested for how I store mine here in the US (I/e in a way I could actually use them if someone broke into my house), but thus far, how accurate am I? I expect a few things to have changed but I’m limited in my access to information over here.
@@alphastronghold715I'm Canadian, I like guns. I don't need to be reminded of my own laws. What you originally said was just incorrect information. Adding more correct information afterward doesn't change that. Also, maybe use your google-fu powers to look up some of the more strict countries before saying someone is "programmed" to hate guns. You sound like a crazy person.

Yeah I agree I don't know where her vitriol towards guns in d&d comes from
