njords62 I think I have those wheels I'm not sure tho but I definitely have cragars
Polished or chromed? I want 5 spoke for my 57chev, but undecided if i ahouod get chromed or not..whats you think?
Great History Of CRAGAR Company. As a teenager in the 70's, These were the rims to have on your muscle car. My friend had 69 Pontiac Firebird 350, 4 Barrel Holly, 4 Speed Munic Trans. Would Burn Tires In Every Gear With Those CRAGAR Rims. Going to put CRAGAR, White Wagon Rims on my White Jeep TJ to give it that Retro Look. You did a fantastic story on founder and others will purchase company. Glad they kept the original name of company.
Keep On Wheeling, Mr. T.
Cragar was the first set of wheels I had on my 82 Chevy Malibu. That first hand me down car from my mom. I picked those up at Jegs in Columbus OH. Loved that first car.
Gotta love it when something like that can bring back sweet memories.
Me to, first set on my 85 Chevy van, short wheelbase , very cool!
It’s where I bought mine just two years ago. Sit nice on my 72 Cutlass with rear air shocks sits up in the back with the extra wide tire and dual trumpets. Oh it’s a look
in my humble opinion, nothing looks cooler on an old school muscle car (think circa 1960's & 70's) than a set of chrome plated cragars s/s wheels wrapped in a "big & little" (for example; 50's on the rear & 70's on the front) set of white letter bfgoodrich tires! ...i love all different cars of all different generations, but the muscle cars of the late 60's & early 70's will always be my favorites... even if they did handle like drunken school buses on drum brakes & bias ply tires... always enjoy ur videos guys, thanx!
I must of been the 1st to ask for Cragars, got Cragars on my 1966 Chevy c10!
C10 For the Win!
1st?... ha get in line! 😛
I want some for my Merc.
My heart jumped for joy when I logged into RUclips and say this video on my sub list!! I mean you kinda got to do Dayton wheels now right?!
Dream car 1993 Ferrari 512TR 🤤
I run cragar wheels on my sn95. I like them
Thank you for posting about Crager. It’s like a history lesson for the young bucks. I’m sure a lot of these young subscribers were conceived in the car that had Crager wheels on them...
Had Cragers on my 1978 Camaro back in high school in the late 80s. Skinnies in the front and wide in the back. Was the first upgrade I ever did to my car.
My dream car is a 1970 Hemi 'Cuda, painted Plum Crazy Purple! With original rally rims and a set of Cragar SS rims!
Thanks I didn't know much about these wheels except for growing up and seeing my brother and his friends running these wheels , I myself have always been into the American Racing Tork Thrust mags it's a look that I think looks good 30's - 60's cars .
First time watching one of your videos, I'm impressed. Very well done and informative. Not too serious, not too funny, just right Goldilocks!
Glad to hear you enjoy our content! Don’t forget to sub for more videos from us! 🤙
I'm the other person who asked for this...
We're here for the two of you.
Ahhhh, thanks!
I also asked for this!
YAY!
as am i
It don't get more American than that😂 murica!
Had cragar SS mags on al my muscle cars when I was a kid … 67 Camarillo, 69 gto a coronet 440 .. and that looked awesome now I just got. Ram 1500 and decided to put a set of Ss on it … unfortunately you don’t sell them any longer .. but I did find one that was very close but had hard time with lug pattern… low and behold BBwheels came out with one and I’m getting ready to buy a set .. can’t wait to ride with pride like the old days again … thank you cragar for being a part of my memories then and now !!!!
Man I'd love a 67 Chevelle, with or without Cragars on it
Cragars and N-50s and air shocks.
And have your reverse lights on as you ride around town in your pro stock look chevelle
That's the absolute, best, look possible!
mrchevy70
It’s a love it or hate it look but I dig it ...a buddy had a 72 skylark like that , but with keystone classics.
Light metallic green like pea soup and a tan vinyl roof.
Clean looking but the 2 barrel 350 was a pig, it needed help.
I saw this a few weeks ago, I thought everyone forgot about the reverse light thing.....for the kids , we used to ride around with the reverse lights on and that meant we want to race.
Now the kids put a little stuffed animal in the back.
ruclips.net/video/0D2dJlAoAj0/видео.html
when i was a kid, i wondered how they had the reverse lights on while driving
My dream car is a 1970 Chevelle! One of the best looking cars ever.
The coolest looking wheel ever made
A cool and informative vid, man. Love the occasional impromptu comedy bits. Keep up the good work.
Glad to hear you were entertained! 🤟❤️
First set on my 76 Chevy van in 1982 loved them
really glad you guys went over cragar
Great video man! Subscribed
Cragar Mags were cool then and they'r still still Great today , on you're old hot rods , muscle cars, and hot rods . don't forget the moon hubcaps.
Excellent choice to feature Cragar wheels. I'm personally more JDM, but if I had a classic American muscle car, I'd put Cragar wheels on them. I always saw them as an American Watanabe.
Great video it brings back memories
Thank you sir.Brout back memories
What a great tribute to a legendary brand!
Daytona superbird is the real dream car
I've always loved Cragar SS rims!
1968 Chevrolet Chevelle is my dream car and I was fortunate enough to buy one after returning from my first MEU.
I have Cragar SS wheels on my car. Was contemplating swapping to Torq-Thrust D's just to see what it looks like on my 74 Charger until I watched this video. Thanks FI.👍
Not a problem man we’d love to see your ride in our gallery! You should upload it so we can see this beast! 🤟bit.ly/2Ma4oca
5zigen have always caught my attention...any chance for a video??
Great job. Would love to see episode on Torque thrust D wheels.
I have always loved the CRAGAR 30 SPOKE RIMS. I probably have bought at least 4 or 5 pairs in my life.
They are the best spoke rims I’ve ever seen or heard of. I have also had a pair of Dayton wire wheels and they don’t even come close to being as solid as the Cragar 30 spoke rims. Matter of fact I’m going to buy a pair of Cragar 30 spoke rims I found on the internet the other day. They are $2,500 dollars but they are well worth the money.
J A 🍻👏👊😁👏👏👏✌🍻
can you talk about weld wheels
xjesse92x weld and alcoa
I second the Weld Wheels! Alcoa as well!
Well they have done videos about wheels with less people asking so hopefully they will do this
Oh, Kenny Weld , now that's a sad story..
@@buddaha420kmk No. This is about cragars ss.
you guys would be popular in Canada LOLmakes allot of sense keep it going ive learned allot from this channel
What about Koenig? Not Konig, Koenig. It was a thing as I have a set of their wheels before SSR started making their own Koenig wheels with the Desmond branding and certification on the inside of the barrels. Just trying to get more info since I haven't found a whole lot.
Car Rant Koenig makes high end service truck boxes, and cranes.
Becky Watt nah I have their wheels. Look up Koenig Super Specials. Weird story behind them... But not sure of it all.
cragars are and will always be the best
Oh, and my dream car is an Acura NSX with fixed headlights. Talk about Drag wheels next, they seem to be a rep brand but would be worth doing a video on IMO.
My dream is a black evo 8, semi race car spec so caged but still retaining interior and running a built 4g63 at a reliable 600ish hp with a set of silver Desmond regamasters❤❤
This makes me wanna grow a mullet
YEAHHHHHHHHH
Maxxas Crow n
I had a set on a 70 elcamino and they were bad about cracking.Had to have 3 out of 4 wheels brazed.Ended up with chrome wheels with baby moon hub caps.
I have a set of Cragar wheels on my 1982 Ford van they look cool looking with my B.F. Good rich tires. 7" in the front and 8" in the rear
Let’s see it bro!! Upload it to our gallery and let’s see this beast 🤟 bit.ly/2Ma4oca
I just looked at the wheels on my 72 Ranchero I just got and they're Crager wheels...have to be at least 40 year's old! I'm definitely going to keep and restore them. Do you have any information on how to do this? From your latest subscriber.
I like Cragars SS's rims 14s on 520s white wall tires or Goodrich or Goodyear Indy 500 letter tires😁🍻and they look good on all old classic cars from GM Mopar n Fords
Ill be running cragar wheels here soon hopefully. Also 33s. i want that classic offroader look.
What kind of car are you throwing those wheels on?
Fitment Industries 2005 Silverado z71 ext-cab factory flares. The actual build i want a 4in rough country suspension lift. Keep the factor sized 17in with maybe a -9offset on 33in tires. Have the ranchhand front and rear replacement with the full grill guard and have it modified for a winch. Im already running a headache rack with 4 J.W. Speaker LED 3x5 oval lights. and 2 more on the front grill guard on the truck at this time.
I run the craiger ss .they are cool look good , i have them on a 85 monte carlo ,get lots of looks and comments, thanks for the video
I was just on their website they actually have some pretty cool wheels
I have a set of old Cragar S/S wheels on my S10. They are some damn good wheels for sure. I had a huge blowout one day going about 60 mph so I was riding on rim for a good few 100 feet. Didn't even scratch these babies
Growing up, my dad had a '65 f100 longbed with Cragar 320 quick tricks or similar, and that has to be my dream "car". Sadly, he lost in a divorce about 15 years ago.
speed and racing started in California.... mmm ok maybe we should do some history on Dawsonville Ga and prohibition
Great video mate! I am one of the viewers watching from Australia, the seventh 'divorced' state, Tasmania to be specific.
I'd have to say my dream car would be a big mofo yank tank. A ridiculous land yacht that you guys would probably see as an every day, run of the mill car. Like a 57 Bel air or a 57 Galaxy or something along those lines. A big fat cruiser 😎
A BIG OLE YANK TANK I love it brother! Thank you again for the support crazy to hear we have fans so far away! Do you have any kind of car now with wheels or anything!? 👍
Fitment Industries well here, a yank tank is anything huge and iconically American. I really like a lot of your 70's-90's cars that we just don't see here.
I do mate, not the kind you'd prefer I'd say. I've an 89 FJ62 Landcruiser with some old 17x10 eagle alloys. Nice wheels for a cruiser 😎
I've also got a 1976 Mazda Bongo van with some 14" performance Challenger's so I'm all old school cool 👌
You are The Cragar Wheel of Commentary~!! Enjoyed your video.
This man knows lot about car history I love it
Why did you change your beat??? :( xo tour life was the best
We’ll bring it back! Some people don’t like it used so repetitively 🙂 - Mario
I had a set of Cragar S/S wheels on my 78 Firebird
Firebird what!? Do you have any old pictures laying around still of that beast??
Do one about AME wheels.
I never had a set of Cragars. I did have Keystone Raiders which were similar. And of course Keystone Classic.
Dream car is a 1971 Hemi 'Cuda convertible in Sublime Green.
I like this history lesson on a old wheel, what about doing one on Dayton wire wheels
Looking for a set of Cragar Star 30's 15*7 NOS or in near perfect condition..
My dream car would be, either a 1971 Ford XY Falcon GT-HO Phase III or a 1972 Ford XA Falcon GT-HO Phase IV
Bell Auto parts building is like 2 blocks away from me. Lots of Automotive pioneers around the area.
I didn't ask for this but I'll watch it
my dream car would have to be a 69 Chevrolet Chevelle SS due to the fact that ive own the engine for quite a few years now and they're bad ass
-I love your channel-
My dream car is a 22B Impreza only 424 were built and none were sold new in the USA.

Mannn...i love the cragar super tricks I had on my challenger
My dad has Cragar rims on his '68 Camaro heh. They look good.
love it can US Mag and Mickey Thompson wheels even if TSW is knocking off the MT Classics please can you do an episode on both companies please? and my dream car would be a Tucker Torpedo with a.c.
Do you have to install longer studs to fit on 71 Chevelle
Could you guys do a video on Wheel Turbo Fans?!
1992 Mazda Rx7, Bridgeported with the rocket bunny body kit. 18x12 work vsxx complete polished lip and face. With a Dark grey metallic paint job.
If I make a shopping cart go kart will y’all do a review Milwaukee area
adrian sanchez 😂😂😂 can we throw Corey in it and sennndd itt afterwards?
Fak yea
Can we do ARC Wheels next? My bro has some that are super nice so I thought I’d put a recommendation in.
1996 Acura NSX is the DREAM!!!!!!!!!!
The 60s SS wheels were amazing. I have dug them out of dirt, washed them off, and mounted tires to them for a instant rust-free gratification. The new ones are crap which will instantly bloom rust just from morning dew.
what are those wheels at 2:36 next to his head. the wheat/flax colored ones with the gold trim
ESR ES2!
Vr6 swapped mk3 cabrio 👌🏼 one day I’ll make it happen, also let’s talk about motegi
Can you guys do a video on vossen wheels
You Missed majority of Cragar's true history & how they dominated the from the 60's through 99 when going bankrupt after being screwed over by Super Shop's. But nice try
69 mustang is my dream car
What wheel is that on the left of the two red wheels directly behind him?
ESR ES2!
I had Cragers on my first muscle car back in 71. Combine that with Goodyear Polyglass tires.
Aww man the beat... hope it comes back soon
gotta change it up sometimes! 😁
The black rims reminds me of cartown
I always preferred the keystone classics I had them on my 82 cutlass supreme and my 84 Monte Carlo
Spun Centerlines were the best wheel, bar none, for high-horsepower cars...whether you were 'cruisin' the boulevard' or racing...NOTHING beat Centerlines!
YESSS!!!!!
Cragar FTFW :D
slammed mr2, mk2, rev4. I also won’t want to do laundry by the time the next vid is up, so a free shirt would be great
please do one on avant garde wheels!
My uncle 64 impala had a set of 14x7 reversed cragar s/s with 5:20s we would Lowride KING and STORY in SAN JOSE
Make a video about junction produce wheels /company
Good info! Can you do same with western slots?
Good suggestion dont think we have heard that one yet! 👍
A 2016 rs6 avant would be amazing for snowboarding trips in Colorado.
Sure would be nice to shred the gnar right now!! 🏂
I wanted Crager SS wheels so bad in the mid 80's. But $3.35 an hour didn't allow that. Ended up running 15x8 and 15x7 Pontiac Ralley Wheels painted as silvery as I could get. $10 each from any local salvage yard. Still wish my Novas had these wheels. Just want meant to be. Great video.
Hey man as long as you enjoy what your driving thats all that matters, 👍
I love it. How about a turn up to the Peterbilt or Kenworth trucks. Or western star or a big truck manufacturer
