What was not mentioned is the PMS. Suzuki Phils requires you to have it serviced every 4 MONTHS or 5,000 kms mileage whichever comes first to retain your Warranty. While in other countries, its usually every 6 months up to ONCE a year or 10,000 kms. And dealers doesn't really answer you truthfully why🤔

Considering this since it'll probably be the closest I get to having a 90s Fiat PANDA here in the Philippines. The latest batch are supposedly made in Japan? That could be another selling point.

I've been eyeing this as my first car because I really dig the look and how easy it is to drive but I'm having doubts on its fuel efficiency. I would mostly use it on city driving which I find to be one of this car's weak points. Can I increase the fuel efficiency by always using the 2WD option instead? Is that how it works?
Yes. In 2WD city driving FE is between 10-13km/li. Use the 4wd only as necessary.
@@AllanCorpuzMD thanks man! I guess that's one way of convincing me to pursue with the Jimny. 10-13km/L isn't great at all tho but at least it's better than 8km/L lol
You’re welcome! It probably helps that I’m driving a MT. But if your foot is not too heavy on the pedal, you should be able to get 11 at least. I get 9 on heavy traffic, at 2nd-3rd gear max. It is slow to accelerate. I’m okay with that as roads are always congested anyway. But it can hit 14-16 on the highway at 80-90kph. Good luck and congrats in advance!

Excuse me yung nsa roof n nka usli ang twag dyan ay rain gutter or alulud sa tagalog ksi nga wla k sun visor or water deflector kung twagin tpos ang other purpose nyan ay kakabitan mo ng roofracks incase your needing to add extra storage , just to clarify d b nga if mapapansin mo yung rain gutter is from front door hngang likod around the right door, previous mechanic po ako sa toyota kya ayan ang twag dyn technically and then yan wiggle or play sa steering is natural ksi its a full 4time all grip ksi i think gear box system p yan that is use for very rough roads need ng play to not damage the steering system.

In terms of vehicle dynamics? Not really. But when it comes to maintenance, it’s a candidate.

Over priced vehicle. What extras does it has??
The Jimny is the perfect spoiled rich kid car lol. Cheap enough for their parents to buy as presents but doesnt look "pang masa". Small enough that it wont be much of a hassle to drive on their expensive and exclusive schools where roads are very masikip. Lastly, just the right height that it's taller than the usual budget sedans to keep up with their egos but not as tall as tito/daddy SUVs like the Montero, Fortuner, Territory to remind them who bought it for them lol.
