That's great brother I'm a rock drummer and I'm going to be honest if I was still playing professionally I would be using v-drums. Electronic drums have come a long way and I know a lot of drummers don't like them however I use a VST for my sounds and honestly it sounds great
Thanks man! I really appreciate the flexibility of the electronic kits. As you say, run them into a DAW and trigger or replace with other sound libraries. I used the Rolands to track two tunes for a future release. Setup timbales on the rack toms and regular toms on the floor toms - instant hybrid kit. Very cool. Recorded MIDI at the same time as the audio and could augment and layer sounds. It’s cool to be able to think orchestration with drum layers. BTW - can’t get time of day from Roland! I talked to the artist rep dude last year and he’s ghosting me! Sigh…..
