Great video! I think Restoration Games (RG) did a wonderful job with the reimagining, but I still prefer the original version. There's too much going on for my liking in the RG version and I enjoy the simplicity of the Milton Bradley game. Plus, I prefer the way Vul-Kar and the cards are utilized in the original game. But I understand why the average people would be turned off by the absurd price tag of the OG version in the secondary market, and I wouldn't blame them for choosing the Restoration Games version over the original.
Would love just a straight rerelease of the retro version.

I love the classic, easy to play, still an amazing game, and still ahead of its time. The new version is a sequel per the canon from the expansion pack, so it doesn’t hurt to have both. Kids would probably enjoy the new one with all the expansions as there is just more interaction and fun but it doesn’t beat the charm of the original.
Is Race for Adventure edition here too? Just to see any differences in comparison
The board in the Race for Adventure version is mostly just smaller to speed up gameplay. It's not that different from the standard version I show, just missing some of the components you get in the standard version.
The old figures look great like Forbidden bridge the modern ones i dont like
