So no gasket maker when putting on a new head gasket? Just a gasket?
No gasket maker should be used on any part of the head gasket.

Why you torque to 105? Is that arp specs for those studs?
That's what I went with for the "L19" ARP headstuds.... I went of what has worked for my tuner/engine builder.
@@DSMTHuNDeR I torqued mine to 80 as ARP specs , is that a bit low?
@@roxypro53 if you are using STANDARD ARP headstuds....that's a good number. For L19s you can get away with more.
Mine its a 7 bolt engine,
Tengo COMETIC headgasket
And VICTOR REINZ headbolts

dont touch L19's without gloves the oils on your hands ruins the metal and makes them prone to failure. I noticed you touched them without gloves.
