Believe it or not.........but The Cure played "The Drowning Man" this evening in Rotterdam (5-11 '87) on special request of me and my friend Gerber. We saw Robert Smith signing autographs before entering the venue, and in an impulse we decided to offer him a bag of our homegrown weed. Robert smiled, slipped the gift in a small pocket of his leather jacket and asked us the unthinkable: "is there any particular song you like us to play for you tonight?". And...he kept his promise.
I still love the Cure nearly forget them but they are back.Start at 1980 and quite at 1986 for me the best years of the cure or was it 1979 well dont hang me at he gardens.
