The screens going crazy with some weird codes, the notebooks flying due lost of gravity and inertia and the pilots looking each other, those things happening on the same second just to go full chaos after is such a beautiful detail, even the scream at the end
Right? One of the other best details is if the gunship reaches critical damage, if you have a set of headphones or earphones on, you can hear the background ambient sounds, like you can hear the sounds of metal clunking and twisting, the weakening whirring sounds of the engine and more, the screen gets more static.
0:08 if look closely, the guy is initially resting his head on his fist bored af, puts his pen down after checking some boxes off, flips some switches, gets hand on trigger for some carnage. This game is truly beautiful
So, real-life AC-130 crew members wear parachutes, however they do not have ejection seats. This means in the event of an emergency where they have to exit the aircraft during flight, they have to clamber to the exits and jump like an old WWII bomber. As this cut scene shows, there is the assumption that bailing will occur during level flight, in reality, the plane is probably spiraling out of control as seen here. The last AC-130 shot down in combat occured during the first Gulf War in 1991. The left wing broke off, and it plummeted and spiraled into the waters of the Persian Gulf - none of the 14 crew got out in time.
And thats exactly why the AC-130 can only be deployed againts farmers. No amount of chaff and flares can ever protect a slow and low flying cargo plane from a MANPADS or god forbid, a SAM. Sad thing about Spectre 03 that you mentioned was that a previous AC-130 callsign Spectre 11 was also shot down by the same Strela missile in Vietnam, also hitting the wing and separating from the fuselage
To make everyone feel better, all you have to do is re-earn another gunship and those same two shadow squad crewmen will respawn in again like nothing ever happened :)
There should be 2 different animations like how the chopper gunner has it honestly. What if a cruise missile hits the plane directly? Would’ve been quite good

As much as people didn't care for the more realistic aspects and slowness of MWII, I loved it. It was shown in everything from the animation improvements, weapon inspects, color theme, campaign...it felt very cohesive and filled with love from the devs.
Original MW2 because story in OG trilogy was mediocre.I still cant understand why everyone loves Ghost who had 0 charisma.Black Ops characters that's how you make characters.Even if reboots have really average story their character development is still better. And I played COD4 MW and MW 09 6 times each but i'm not teen anymore

The gunship's sole user is the United States Air Force, which uses AC-130H Spectre and AC-130U Spooky variants. The AC-130 is powered by four Rolls-Royce T56-A-15 turboprops and has an armament ranging from 20 mm Gatling guns to 105 mm howitzers. It has a standard crew of twelve or thirteen airmen, including five officers (two pilots, a navigator, an electronic warfare officer and a fire control officer) and enlisted personnel (flight engineer, electronics operators, and aerial gunners). Low operating altitudes around 7,000 feet (2,100 m) make it an easy target, its close air support missions are usually flown at night.
I dunno if this might break the game or not but there could be a feature added specific to the gunship. Where you can call them back early. Depending how many time left on the timer some of the point streak you spent get refunded, and you felt like you save those 2 crewman on the gunship by avoiding them getting shotdown
Like it wasn't already terrifying to hear the pilot scream "mayday mayday we're going down " in MW2019 when the enemy destroys your chopper, now we have to watch their full death
Probably the only reason why I searched this up was because I did in fact get the Gunship at some point but then the game ended and I didn't even get to shoot ONCE DAMN IT😭
I know for a fact people are complaining about about this because “it takes too long to get out of the killstreak”. I’m sorry EXCUSE ME?? This game is trying to tell you something. THIS SHIT HAPPENS ALMOST DAILY and we’re on our asses playing a game that represents that.
Saw this for the first time in game this weekend, it was a great experience! Made missing out on another one by a stupid mistake sting much worse everytime the rest of the day.
There was too much cowards in the building where I fired the LTM missile and the 5 40mm cannons. Sadly the cannons have a limited range as when I was being shot at by the apc I kept moving up but they seem to have reduced the aim compared to MW19.
Theres also the chopper gunner animations, one where the pilot is killed by gunfire and the other where the helo is taken down by killstreaks or rockets
This cod is just so good! I've hated cod for a while now, but since mw 2019 and mw2 I've been enjoying cod again. It's still missing a lot of stuff like progression and earnable skins for free by just playing the game and better rewards for being good at the game. They desperately need new servers and a new engine. I don't know how they manage to pull out these amazing graphics out of that engine. I hate that in warzone it's unplayable with the bots and hit registration and damage bug where you die in 2 melee hits with full plates but you try the same thing and it doesn't work for you. Multi-player is where it's a little more polished but I do wish it would have been working at release. The game is still fun though 🔥
Imagine if instead of exploding, there was a chance the Gunship would fall out of the sky and crash onto the map. There would be slow and intense buildup music as a flaming ball of metal with wings comes flying towards the ground. It would basically be a Battlefield levolution. On really small laps like Rust, it would end the match, since that fictional AC-130 variant is definitely big enough to destroy the factory on Rust. But it should only end the match if it happens at the end of the match, and there's a rare chance of it happening. That would be awesome.
