The RB engine didn't show much of a performance degradation from new to used. Benz had the better engine new (clearly), but it would deteriorate after 3 races. I'm surprised Benz didn't catch on earlier and just hammer grid penalties for new engines. There was no cost cap in 2021.

Not by a mile imo. In his years at mclaren he drove the hell out of the car that he had. Having a car that's 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone else on the field, is cool and all, but it's pretty obvious a good driver will win with a car like that, no matter what place you start at. In Mclaren he didn't have the crazy car advantage, and still won many races. I think 2008 silverstone is one of his best for example.

One of the most spectacular races I've watched. The whole weekend was amazing! With this performance, Hamilton wrote his name once and for all as one of the greatest in the sport.
Some people are whining about FIA favouring verstappen in Brazil, but entirely forgets Bahrain, where Lewis didn't follow track limits for 29 fcking laps, literally a half race distance, which made Hamilton win that race. I'm not supporting verstappen here, just stating FIA's inconsistency

LH switched to beast mode and stepped up his game from this race but it was clear FIA was bored of LH walking away with so many records. They switched it to MAX.

It happens all the time, even just a few weeks ago when Max was in the crippled car and racing Mick for 7th, Max was driving all over the road like a raging lunatic to not let him past; he would have crashed them both out of the race before giving up a position.
Of course he's going to try absolutely everything it was his first time he was able to fight for the championship you're going to do absolutely everything you can even the most extreme defense possible... This season i haven't seen him do a single move like this, the idiot ahead comparing this with Verstappen against Schumacher is a joke

Some people are whining about FIA favouring verstappen in Brazil, but entirely forgets Bahrain, where Lewis didn't follow track limits for 29 fcking laps, literally a half race distance, which made Hamilton win that race. I'm not supporting verstappen here, just stating FIA's inconsistency
