For the Smaller Tiers, i am assuming they are in a group of 2-3 such as Alio, Metri, pachy and Cera. The Ano gets a spot because if goes into defense, you will struggle to kill it without a tail attack and it can outrun you easily.
This is how I've been telling people to play spino since the combat updates! Excellent guide and I'm glad to see the big sailback beast finally getting some respect within the community :)
@@KenTheGentthe Dasp got new abilities and changes to existing ones with the last update. I was watching that video because after the last update my Dasp lost all abilities I bought and so I had to farm marks and unlock them all again a second time. Before or while doing so I wanted to use ur video as inspiration and guide. That's when I noticed that the video sadly is lacking actual content about Dasp. Would appreciate a new vid too. ❤
Nice guide, but in my opinion, quick bite is better when fighting other apex, and as a quick bite spino, when u face a charge bite spino u should use claws+bite for maximum dps and bleed, I’ve killed a lot of charge bite spino as a quick bite one. But I’ll say normal bite or charge bite is mostly personal preference.
That was well needed. I am fairly new to Spino and PoT in general and have trouble against those who attack on sight. In another video a dude told never to dive as a Spino as you extend your hitbox with that huge sail of yours. What are your thoughts on this?
In theory it makes sense ( less of a hitbox the better). But in practical use cases it's a horrible idea. Sarco's for example swim faster so they can just keep biting you from behind since you can't see into the water. Floating in the majority of cases is more negative than positive.
Balanced can easily fight 1-2 sarco's as long as you don't make mistakes. And with a rex you can still beat it as long as you play smart and don't get bonebroke.
Been playing for few months first time with spino i made yesterday 😂 I got speed boost sub with webbed claws pretty much nothing I should have on it to fight 😢
@@justingaskins3440 what do you mean? I mean 90% of spino players already used normal bite and rarely used claws only like 10% of spinos used charge bite and claws often so this change is bad but it doesnt even affect most spino players that much the big issue is no bleed for claws so i guess all spinos will just use normal bite from now on
why the Rex wasn't given traction is beyond me or better yet i would prefer that the Rex and the Spino to some degree be given 2 tail slots and on the subject of traction, if it must have some form of penalty it shouldn't be 30% it should be some thing like 5% seems far more reasonable
With charge bite being removed i really hope they buff the spinos regular bit damage, give them a new kind of bite or abilities. Or someone makes a mod that gives spinos its charge bite back. ;-;
Great video but I'd say you might as well run tail attack on defense spino especially if you play on land more cause that's the point of defense spoon. Tail is too good to pass up
The turning radius makes up for not having the tail if you reserve stamina for fights. With the new addition of a cooldown on the tail attack i find it essentially useless. Although it could help with raptors i suppose

Tbh allo dasp pycno and a couple others got worse treatment than spino, those are the true legends
Thanks for the shout-out! Great video. I'm definitely going to be using Charge Bite for now on!
We need the charge attack back
You rock, man! This is exactly what I was looking for.
Next I think you should do dasp because there are about 3 - 4 diff builds you can have some options
Please do dasp :)
i actually already have the dasp video up!

How do you only have 1k subs ?! Your content is some really good quality and your tips are really helpfull aswel keep up the good content
Thumbnails could be better and more comments help the algorithm! Thank you!
Well done! Thank you for making these videos. Got me excited to try spino again!
Gotta love Spino Malone 😂😂, you just inspired me to actually play my spino. 👍🏾
What are you naming yours?
This needs an update since spino doesn’t have a charge bite
Excellent 👌 only thing is do diff is take the tail att but maybe you don't need it.
Hey it was good seeing you last night ! Delrey911
Gg!

Charge bite being removed
From the spino?
Where can I find the stats like at the beginning of the video for all Dino’s in the game?
Please, do Kentro and Pycno next ! 😁
Pycno video is out!
you should upload hunt content. Love that game, although not to sure how well it will do😅
Imma do it

@@KenTheGent I see. I guess it is only good against Megalanias.
Can a balanced build go toe to toe against Sarco/Trex or is it def only?

Appreciate the stats!!!!!!🎉❤
So sad this video isn't really helpful anymore. It was pivotal to my POT experience last year.
Unfortunately i can't make guides fast enough to counter the stat changes and ability changes.
Can you do the turning trick on mobile?
Should be able to
They removes spinos bleed from the claws, charge bite got removed and its bite is only 50 on the ptb💀
Unacceptable honesty. The Devs must not play the game.
So what do people do now just bite with claws

@Japeownaa I'm new to game and just started spino so I legit seeing if that was the case or if their was a build of some sort lol

yes, im kinda hoping they do something else with it though. Not a big fan of the state its in.

They also took the bleed from the claw attack!
Hey, I used your guide and got good at spino : ).
I made a video on my channel thanks to you!
Lol loved the hunt showdown clip
i have a ton of amazing footage of hunt!
@@KenTheGent I'd love to see more of it
So does the traction ability completely negate having the tail attack?
No, the swimming tail does take away the tail attack though.
@@KenTheGent No I meant traction is good enough to get people that are tail riding you on land without having to use the normal tail attack?
@xanshen9011 for the most part yes, other than allo or if you keep getting bonebroke.
I just got smoked by a meg tail riding me I couldn't don't anything what's the best way to stop that
Back up to a cliff so the meg cant get behind you without falling or swim like a mad man changing the vertical and horizontal plain so they struggle
And spam claw attack

Can we get a redew on this video
Spino feels lackluster after update, Im almost done recording for the video im gonna put up. Spino or ano might be next.
New update video ?
Working on recording
Can u do eo
I can for sure!
