This is actually a decent 1440p setup. I played Starfield on a similar setup and it ran fine. I would say it is an excellent 1080p setup if you want to play everything at triple digit framerates.

@@Ladioz pretty roomy case, but if trying to mount a 240/280mm aio radiator up top you will have to use shorter ram sticks or the ram will collide with the fans. This case imo is made for air cooling not liquid cooling. If going for liquid cooling the 5000d airflow is a better option

@@Ladioz yeah, always look at case specs to see what you're exactly looking for. The Lian li 216 mid tower case has 2x 160mm fans up front and 1x 140mm fan at the back. You can also raise or lower the motherboard according to standoff placements. For air cooling or liquid cooling, you can also put 2 fans below your gpu above the psu shroud if the motherboard is raised up for air cooling

its best sellers not best build for the price this select line of parts was mostly children on tiktok in 2020-2022 doing no research and just buying (overpriced) parts to drain their parents wallet to be involved in "techtok" and act as if they have knowledge on computers and farm sponsers

5600X/3060 is my current gaming PC. It is also the most popular combo in the Steam Survey. I knew the second I saw the title what the CPU and GPU were going to be.
If you're going to get a 3060, I highly recommend the EVGA XC. it is compact enough to fit in almost any ITX build and also great for compact mATX cases. Still, it doesn't look bad on a full ATX board as long as you don't get a crazy big CPU cooler. It uses Samsung VRAM and overclocks nicely without losing its cool. . The prices on remaining new EVGA 30 series GPUs are insane so you'd have to get one on the used market. But I've also had a couple of 30 series Ventus GPUs and they're fine. I also had a 1650 Gaming X and that was a nice GPU, for what it was. It overclocked really well.
If you're into music production or just like your music and games to sound fantastic, the Asus Tuf Gaming series uses Realtek 1200 series audio chipsets, which are excellent. That's not easy to find on a B series board.

am4 platform will still be relevant in 10 years because it will become the next real budget PC.. unless AM5 can go beyond 7GHz as factory standard, then AM4 isn't going anywhere. most of my future upgrades are all surrounding am4
