I’m so glad you posted! I loveeeee watching your videos! Also I love the new glasses there super cute and I love all the great tips! ✨👏 I wish I saw the post to send in a question! Can’t wait to watch more! ✨
Hi!! I really loved your video!! 😄 I do want to add, though: Strong female characters shouldn’t have to be uncaring and sarcastic all the time. Some can be, and that’s always awesome, but female characters can also be strong because of their kindness and love for their family, strong because they can kick butt but also love traditionally feminine things like dressing up, strong because of everything they’ve come through and come out of it a kind, caring person. As much as I love the Katniss Everdeen’s of this world, I always wish there were more Biana Vackers (Keeper Of the Lost Cities)
I really enjoyed your Q & A video. It was so entertaining to watch and to learn more about you as a teen RUclipsr. You have some great insights on writing ideas from life, how you prefer epilogues vs prologues (I do too) and again, I am amazed at how you are writing not only one project but many. Way to go! Do you ever consider giving them actual titles related to the book your writing? I am writing a sci fi fantasy book as I mentioned many times to you before, I am nearly done writing it, and as of a week back I thought of a title. The title I thought to give it is: “The moons and one world.” I may change it later, but I’ll see. I wish I saw the post to send in a question. Maybe next time. Good luck with your writing and life in general :)

Fellow plotter :3 please do some more of these and whenever you decide to publish a story or series I'd be so excited to read it!! yesss I agree ana writing action or fights is tricky for me too. Also planning my book plot twists and side characters
I'm so glad you started talking about the Bible! I also recommend the Gospel of John, or Matthew for the genealogy of Jesus for those who don't read the Bible. Revelation is a good book, but I don't really recommend going into that first without a general understanding of the Bible, however I do like how you recommended it. It is a truly amazing book. But, yeah, I'm glad you're so open about Christianity! I will be praying for you and your future, Ana!
Hi Anna. I just wanted to say, congrats for getting a lot more subscribers. Even though I miss your Rainbow loom videos, I still watch your channel no matter what.
Yeah I get what you mean Ana about fantasy and being a christian. I think if your heart is about God and you follow what the bible says and keep praying for God to guide you you will come to realize if you are truly sinning or if you are aligned with god and being a light to the earth. So happy to see all of these responses to questions, I relate and think this is super helpful.
I didn't know you were christian! so cool! I am too (lds, or "mormon" but I don't like the lgbtphobia) and it's so cool to see a christian making exactly the type of videos I want to watch. Thanks Ana and happy birthday!
I also love J.R.R.Tolkien and C.S. Lewis they inspire me alot for my story :D I'm also Christian and I have the same problem with my grandparents they just don't like fantasy. Luckily my parents are pretty chilled with that.
I think if your inspiration is demonic and from a dark place, filled with lies and deception instead of the good in life and based on what is good, lovely and of God then that is a true issue

hi! fellow writer here, I hope I'm not bothering you with this, but how are you able to make sure your story's pace is consistent? Also, how are you able to make sure the events that happen in your story are consistent as well? I've been having a difficult time with it in my own writing and thought this could help me.
of course! consistency is quite important in your final draft and it takes a while to achieve it through and through. however - it’s so good your mindful of it!! pace shouldn’t be consistent in your book. try and have a well balance of fast and slow paced chapters. it’s a good idea to 1) make sure as you work toward the climax your the plot’s pace increases, and 2) whenever a big event happens (such as a fight scene, death) ensure there is ‘breathing scenes’ for the reader and your characters to take a break. it’s a little hard because consistency is based off your book, it’s content, how many characters and even how long your book is. but some quick tips can include having two main things in each chapter that contributes to either the plot or your characters. those two things are your goals, resembling the consistent contribution to the plot and overall story. such things are alike you said : events. hope this helped a little! let me know if I didn’t make sense ahhaha. wish u well xx
but seriously it was interesting to hear you talk about your supernatural books relating to your faith. I'm currently writing a book centered around many fake deities, and I had to pause for a second to figure out if I was ok with it or not lol.
omg i'm obsessed with this channel right now, i love love love it here. your insight is so refreshing. i missed the question post but i was wondering what your thoughts are on "good" or "bad" writing. i feel like my writing style is heavily descriptive; i write with so much detail but that's because i, as a person, notice every single detail from minuscule features to vocal tones, and i love to include *everything* i'm viewing in my mind. i've been told often that it's too much, but it's disheartening because that just feels natural to me. do you find that standard writing practices / balances are still important in that aspect?
aw!! first off - thank uuu so much for this beautiful comment! i actually just caught the flu so hearing this in my state makes me feel so so much better. i hope my brain is working well enough to give you an answer - but I’ll try my best!! it’s a GREAT question. I’ve heard a lot on this particular topic the regarding overuse of description (in characters, settings, feelings - including monologues)…and some people like it some people don’t. I, personally adore descriptive worlds. it shows the author is really conscious about detail and atmosphere, telling the story in such a real way it seems like the reader is walking with the characters themselves. books such like this (whom I ADORE because of it) include The Night Circus and The Hobbit. these two books are great examples of doing ENOUGH detail without going overboard. it’s important not to ‘bore’ the reader if you explain unnecessary things that the reader can fill in. but on the other side of that, you shouldn’t leave too much up to interpretation. there’s a few factors to decide if your giving too much description. Like 1) is your world complicated? such as a fantasy book, 2) who is your intended audience? older youths are smart and like to use their own imagination, and 3) is it your writing style? i honestly think is so great you love your writing style, using description to explain the beautiful wonders of the world. i wouldn’t say this is bad writing. I would say it’s just something unique to you. however I still encourage you to leave some aspects up to interpretation, let your readers add their own details. and give them ROOM to do that. but I think your doing so great. this, again was such a good question, and I hope my half muddled brain explained my answer well enough. I’d love to hear more ideas too. thank uu xx
one question ive had for a super long time is.. does chapter length matter? bc my longest chapter is 5 pgs, maybe 4. and i'm scared that it wont get published bc itll be a super short book
of course it doesn’t matter!! your book might just qualify as a novella, or a shorter novel. it’s actually really good to have diversity in chapter lengths if you can. I’m honestly attracted to shorter books because it shows that the author is concise and very conscious about what they are leaving in and out, I believe it shows that they are a good writer!!❤️wish u luck in publishing! u can do it!!❤️❤️
@@luna_balloona09 that’s awesome!! wowieee six books is a lot!! i think it’s quite important then to have a little plan for both the plot and the characters development. have a starting point (where your characters are at in the beginning of the book) and the end point (where/who you want your characters to be) just visualise it! you’ll be good xx and trust the process - your characters will grow on their own as long as you have faith in them!! ❤️❤️
With the Christian thing. I write murder books and not my parents but most of my family on my mom's side hates stuff like this bc it is not "Lady like," somehow and "Not Christian." So most of my family will not read my books.

Can you maybe read some of your own books please
With the Christian thing. I write murder books and not my parents but most of my family on my mom's side hates stuff like this bc it is not "Lady like," somehow and "Not Christian." So most of my family will not read my books.
