    • @JakeGchannel
      @JakeGchannel  4 месяца назад +2

      @@ibanez-b8n yeah there are 5 categories for housing prioritisation I’m stat 2 which is the second highest as I’m the primary career. Unfortunately, I think you still be cat 5 (lowest and what everyone goes on when they start) you can apply for a long term relationship change through your HR but you have to prove a lot of stuff and it’s pointless as one of our lads has tried the same thing but they rejected it even though they have the evidence. I think it’s because you have to be like the main career of your partner (I.E they cannot work for whatever reason) however, there is a guy in the CCS course in an older intake than mine who has a house with just his missus no kid so it is possible. Might seem extreme but get married 😄 that’s the easiest way to get a house and you’ll be put into stat 1 which is the highest. My advice would be just to apply for surplus housing, it’s basically anyone can have that but your the lowest priority however, they have quite a few properties that are vacant so there’s hope. I would speak to the accommodation people on base when you get here as they are the best to talk to.
      Keep in mind your right in the beginning as you have applied just focus on getting through the application and then Halton after that worry about housing as it’ll be too much especially during basic training. Hope this helps.
