When I was 5 (I’m 15 now) I went with my grandparents to a summer cabin and I found this figure under a couch. I loved it so much that where ever I went I took him with me, but then he got missing for years and now that I see people saying he is super rare makes me sad😢
Óðinn Brynjarsson aww same with me but I bought mine and for 4 years my brother hid it now I am 11 I just leave it everywhere bro
wfw animation. I had mine as 6 years old i left mine but im gonna buy one in my local flee market for $20
Óðinn Brynjarsson same
feel your Pain mate
Óðinn Brynjarsson That's awesome you found one! Sport it went missing though. I'm sure you'll find it one of these days.
Spider man 2 action figures were the best ones!
Brian Gonzalez yeah but Spider-man classics were the best too
I like the Spider-Man 2 web trap Spider-Man and the magnetic Spider-Man
Yeeep!
20th Anniversary Sam Raimi Spider-Man in May
I love when spiderman figures have the toe articulation
GREEK GUY same
i have this figure
GREEK GUY me to
Julio Barranco I'm getting it
I have the spin and kick but it’s the trilogy addition but it’s the same figure but the eyes are a shade of blue
2021 and still watching these old reviews. Thank you Shart! 👍🏻
Used to have this figure when I was a kid, and yes...I did used to pose it till I fell asleep.
This is the only marvel figure I have at the moment except for bootleg thor
When I was younger, i buried this toy in sand, did a 360 spin, and couldn't find him afterwards for some reason so I'm sad to this day
Joey S
Ah yes, the iconic scene in Spider-Man 3 😂
Joey S sorry to say but I found it and I recently moved
I finally got it back today!😁😁😁 I got this figure online and now I'm so glad again
Happened to my spectacular Spiderman black suited Spiderman action figure....
@@Arbiter-8001 what!!?!!?!??!?!!?!??!?!!?!??!?!!?!??!?!!!?!!?!?!??????!???!!!!!!??
Shartimus you're not the only one. I use to sleep with this figure when I was a kid. Then it got old and loose so I bought a new one to replace it and it's the one I display now.
@connextro how
Awesome Review bro! Love that Nightstand joke! I hella laughed! I got to hear this review before it was put up :)
same too thats totally me
@@bigblackqueen8084 how if he said he watched the video before it was released
@@ohwow4596 ?
I just got one of these from a street salesman selling toys from a cardboard box for like less than $4. It's complete, with both magnets, and the paint job is miraculously pretty good. I didn't even know what I was buying, I just loved the articulation.
I bought this figure used at the comic store for a few dollars back in like 2008 or 9 but I love it soooo much
it’s still the only spider-man action figure I have 😑
Mine was the first Marvel Figure I ever got. Mine came with a different base though (a traffic light), and to the date it's still one of my favorite figures.
I got 2 of these but they got destroyed by 3 year old me
are you INSAIN
Hello Everybody You Monster.
Oh my god me too
aww man, i feel your pain, because thats what exactly happened to me 16 years ago...
Hello Everybody Thats sad.... Im sorry for you
Found this video after watching one of the newer ones and you brought such memories. I still have the figure.
I had one. I lost it. Best action figure ever.
So glad I got this as a birthday present, such an amazing figure
hilarious , that good night kiss to spidy was awesome !
great review !
Hey, I am a long time veiwer but just signed up to RUclips. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great videos over the years.
ive gone 3 days in a row watching your vids! im driving and singing your song!
love this fig! gr8 review bro, and gr8 wall crawling pose!
Dude your not the only one. I pose my figs till I fall asleep. Great review.
This was such a good figure to fidget around with when I was a kid. So good.
AMAZING!! Greatest action figure collector of all time!
4:49 just made my day
Hands down one of the best Spider-Man movie figures out there i still don't like that abb part but its a great figure
Why do care so much about ankle pivots this is one of the best spiderman figures
Might be the best actually
Its ok Shartimus I have a nightstand figure aswell haha awesome review bro keep up the good work
I've had this toy for 12 years now. Still my favorite Spidey.
I got this a long time ago but it was loose so I can only have it as a collectible but I still love it anyways and i got this toy because of your review keep it up!!!!
Man I used to have that Spider Man figure!!! When i was like 7 or 8 years old, my parents buy me that Spider-Man, Doc Oc, William Defoe's Green Goblin, Erik Forman's Venom and James Franco New Goblin!!! Where are they now? I don't know... When you are a kid and you see a toy the only thing you think is *PLAY PLAY PLAY!!!!* now Im 18 years old and im a beginner collector... by seeing this video makes me think in the jewels of figures i used to have and the memories of seeing Toby McGuire Spider Man movies at the same time i was playing whit my toys :'D
Great review! it does bring back memories when figs were made much better in my opinion. I would have to check my storage to see if i still have this fig :-(
I had that exact figure, with the weird preg torso and everything. Only difference was instead of peg holes on the feet there were magnets so I could let him crawl on the fridge. This is my favourite Spider-Man action figure!
God i found one of these guys in an op shop when i was 15 and we had so much fun posing him in explicit positions. I'm pretty sure i donated him back in the end...I didn't appreciate what i had!
That [Raimi] Spider-Man figure is better than any of the others. Because of the paint colors and the articulation.
Shartimus I just stumbled with this review, I honestly think you should make a review of the 2002 raimi spiderman movie figure from tou biz. That one still is my favorite figure from toy biz days. It even looks very good with marvel legends from today because of its anatomic accuracy. Please man make that review, a petition of a big, big fan!! Peace!
I had all of the spider-man figures and i loved them but i lost them when i was younger.
I had
5 Spidermen,a greengoblin, new goblin, doc oct, sandman, venom, 3 black suit spidermen, a rhino. And i loved them so much i wish i still had them 😭
love this figure
I got this and Doc Ock on my 7th birthday and they were at the time my favourite toys and Ive still got them both 13 years later, a bit worn of course cos I played with them a lot when I was a kid but they still sit well in my collection today
LOL I love the last photo.
I bought this figure just because of your review thanks bro
I remember missing out on this figure and then about a year ago, I walked into a thrift shop and bam! There he was in a bag of other random figures for about $5.
I have the magnetic one on my fridge at all times, love going for a snack and end up posing instead.
cool review dude!
Is the figure loose? I mean do the joints move everywhere if you move him say when he's web swinging do his joints shake around like a dead body or are his joints stiff?
Just got this figure in brand new condition but the toe joints are loose, any way to fix the ankle joints and toe joints to become more solid?
I was about 5 or 6 when I got this figure at Walmart. Sad thing is I didn't know zilch about action figures obviously at that age lol and I didn't take very much care of it. Great figure I really loved it, my parents spoiled me with action figures when I was growing up in the early 2000's it was great.
@shartimasprime I have that figure the joint on the shoulder is loose do you have a way on how to repair it ?
Thank you a lot man... Thanx to your video I can finally know what Spider-Man to buy... I wanted the one that you can make him ping and do whatever... Thank you for posting this
I am getting this for my b day! I am so hyped for dis thing. (lol swag!9
Even though I definitely agree that the sculpt is... weird in places, I have to appreciate this is an older figure and one of the first of this caliber, so I can let it slide.
awesome figure review man :)
i had this figure then one day went to get it in my desk draw and it was gone still don’t know where it went but i’m tryna look for a new one there so expensive tho my mom got mine when i was really young and they were new so it’s so weird seeing them this expensive
I had this toy as a young boy, it was my favorite. 😁
I got this figure in the same package as Doc Ock best Christmas ever!
i have this figure and its my favourite spiderman figure... oh and i agree with you about the torso part
1.) You're absolutely not alone with the "nightstand" figures. I currently have Spidey Ock aka Superior Spider-Man from the Green Goblin BAF wave posed on my nightstand. Been there for a while, actually. 2.) I bought the Spider-Man 2 super-posable Spidey back at its release in 2004. I hear you about the over-articulation, but when you're posing him in more Spideyesque poses (crouched over and thwipping, wall-crawling, high-kick web-slinging, etc.), the pregnant diaphragm is far less noticable. Still, I also thought it looked weird at first when compared against the Spider-Man 1 web shooting gimmick Spider-Man that it was replacing.
Just ordered one of these. :)
i am getting that its coming in the mail, i am going to use it for my stop motions
This was my favorite figure as a kid. I hate saying this but I'm pretty sure my friend was the one who took as he was the last person playing with it.
I’m so glad I have this figure
I had One gave it to my uncle as a gift to show how much I love him. Crazy Crazy that they’re $200 plus depending on the condition in the packaging they go for thousands. I remember having a boo dragon ball toy when I was a kid and I gave it to my cousin crazy to think my action figure out of the package goes for $270 right now. Spider-Man I have is 2 foot tall all fingers move leg joints move etc. 2004 Spider-Man two action figure.
Yo I haven’t seen the base of that figure in while. Just lookin at it brings back memories
This figure does have ankle pivot, the problem is that the part where it makes the articulation doesn't have enough space to move, so it just does that small shifting movement
gr8 review shartimus
Man this was my first marvel legends before I even got into it a year a go.I loved his figure to death. I still have it but I broke the arm.
I had this and loved it.
come on, you are the best reviewer of Marvel action figures that exists in the world ...... ...... PURA VIDA GREETINGS FROM COSTA RICA
I had this figure and another spiderman but it wasnt as poseable and it was the black suited spidey. I took the black spidey everywhere
Yes I always wanted him to review this figure
I still got this one and believe it or not its still on my nightstand my fav Spidey figure I have.
AWESOME REVIEW AWESOME FIGURE and that is what i call articulation
where did you get him from
I love spiderman figures with all the finger articulation
I have him from my second cousin didn’t know it was this old
This was my BEST and favourite Spider-man figure ever.
Now I finally what my Spider-Man fig is!!!!
I can't wait to get mine tomorrow and it was sooooooooo cheap it was 21 money and it is very rare.love Sam.
Got the same figure years ago it’s sad because when i was younger I played with them really bad. Like I used to throw it on the floor. And now I still have the figure but it’s loose and the paint is chipped off.
I swear I have this EXACT FIGURE Somewhere! I definitely still have it I just gotta search all around for it
At 4:50 so hilarious good pose on the Figure by the way and I Like How His Toys makes Him loves them more then his ex😂
I knew I wasn't alone! :D
i like the magnet ones
I actually had the chance to get this for like 20 dollars on my birthday, I got a check from my grandma for 100 dollars and my mom put it on her card. The transaction took about a day, and when I went onto ebay the next day it was sold... Luckily I was able to get the battle ravaged movie suit from the first movie for 20 bucks, which I love as much as I probably would have loved this figure.
what figure is better mcfarlane spiderman or spiderman 2 super poseable ?
When he said goodnight spidey and the girl went wtf I lost it
Can I have the figure, I'll pay you 20 dollars or more...!
granoah_ bar he could
been looking for this figure
i wish sentry posted as often as you do
Hello, just ran across this review. Thanks for the nice words! I am the one that sculpted this figure all those years ago as well as several of the others you've reviewed here. Side notes, I did give him ankle tilt, it was just modified at the factory a bit, the feet were seated a little too close to the lower legs and it nearly removed all range of motion. The torso articulation I originally did allowed for more range of motion also, another unfortunate factory modification. Also, he originally had articulated thumbs as well, but the factory couldn't make that joint pass the pull test so it was eliminated. And technically he has many more joints than listed, they counted some joints incorrectly, like the shoulder and hip ball joints are actually two points of articulation as they provide rotation at the peg that inserts into the body, and lift from the disk inside the ball. And the neck joints for instance, the joint at the top of his neck provides rotation to turn the head, and also pivot to lift the head up and down. Each plane of motion is a different articulation. With each joint counted properly he has 52 points. If he would have kept the thumbs it would have been 54!
Lmao at sharlita in the background "wtf??"
the movie figures were some of the best ever. mad that ive lost mine :(
I got mine off ebay but its loose... my dad fixed it up and i love it. Its an amazing figure. But i sadly didnt get the base. But i didnt mind
This and the Mafex Comic Spidey are the most articulated Spider-Man figures
I love that base
I used to have this figure maybe it’s somewhere in my house but I recently moved so it sucks I don’t know where it is! Now people are saying this figure is rare which sucks maybe I’ll find it someday 😖
My neighbor's kids had this toy. I had so much fun playing with it I "borrowed" it. When they saw how much fun I was having, the kids wanted it back. Several months later they left it on the floor and their dog ate it :(
TheScooby323 :(
very sad story :c
Swap the magnetic hands & the bulky legs except the boots because it has ankle rockers and voila. Perfect movie spidey...
i got this figure back when it first came out. and i loved it so much, i played with it everyday just about... until it suffered a tragic death from overuse.
I lost this toy when I was about 6 years old and I havent been able to forgive myself for my utter carelessness ever since
HOLY Crap I instantly knew what you meant but nightstand worthy fucking awesome review!
you should get the Spiderman from the first film! it's amazing and slightly bigger in scale! I still have mine!
do they have this at big bad toy store I'm dieing for this figure
