Some things I miss are b1+2 / db1+2 / ws2,1 giving CH launch, hellsweep from DEN, neutral 4 giving screw, SEN4 launching, and SEN df1 in general. Not to mention how *clean* his rage drives looked.
Yeah, his Counter-Hit tools were so cool, I miss that stuff for sure. His stuff was super awesome in that game, but I love him in T8 as well. Thanks for watching!
I swear why did they make 111 no longer wall splat And then keep Dragunov 121, Lee 223, Law 111 wall splat Those 3 have some of the strongest tornado into wall combo that can easily go over 80 damage While Lars can only get above 70 but doesn't have an i10 ch wall splat In my opinion: 111 should wall splat Standing 4 and Len 1 should be a spin move Give him his old hellsweep in stance back. He gets a mid threat just to now have no low threat in Den Sen 4 should give a knowdown similar to Dragunov F1+2 so Lars get a guarantee stomp A wall carry move from Sen if it's a tornado even better but he really need a wall carry move from Sen so that he can get a clean wall splat instead of a low wall splat
i get that maybe they don't want b1+2 to be irrelevant for catching steps at the wall but damn i miss the b1 counterhit from 7. got so much more mileage out of that move
I miss SE df1, both Rage drives (Rage Drive into Unblockable was hella hype to hit even if you can really only get it off once), db2~1, and alpt of the CH tools we had😭😭. But i like Lars in Tekken 8 i just feel like some of the swag is gone not drastically but to me combos in tekken 7 felt so good to hit they do in tekken 8 but not as good? Maybe im biased here😅
I miss the amount of counter hit we had, like that 2,1,3 that launches, and that b1 which knocks away on counter hit, but most importantly while SE 4 used to launch on counter hit which knocks away on counter hit, it was a good Get Off Me tool I miss the variety of combos, b2 used to screw, SE 3+4 and you got that 2,1,4 which screws But I won't lie, the current Lars is the best Lars we have with, he moves a lot back and forth, switch stances, crazy long wall carry and so on... He has never been so fun to play like how he is now
Yeah exactly - T8 Lars is the most well-rounded, consistent and fun to play version of the character. But I miss so many of his Counter-Hit tools/ combo options. Thanks for watching 👍

lars compared to the other tk8 characters is garbage, he needs some buffs. he doesn't have good lows without taking risks, he doesn't have a viable neutral game, he has no counter hits, false stances. i hope in season 2 the devs buff him
