Ironically, Sauron was the embodiment of everything that Voldemort wanted to be: immortal, all-powerful, known and feared throughout the world, armies of followers with unquestioning loyalty.

Vader against Sauron is the greatest matchup in this video.
It depends on if Vader can truly kill Sauron though I mean 1v1 in person Vader kinda takes most stats Vader has light speed reaction time force enhanced strength and speed as well as a laser sword that can cut pretty much anything that isn’t another light saber ( or beskar ) Magical weapons and armor might be different but again imagine plunging that item into a hand held star. So if a human can cut off Sauron’s hand Vader definitely could. That being said that wouldn’t kill Sauron as he is pretty much a fallen angel made of pure magic that can shape shift at will. So in terms of winning the fight it goes to Vader in terms of can he kill him that I don’t really know can you kill a Miar? They didn’t even kill Morgoth he’s just trapped within the center of the earth
It really depends on the version of Sauron. If he is at full strength then Vader does not stand a chance.
@@drunkinmcirish23 Vader can't kill Sauron. Even in this parody Sauron is still technically alive as his essence that lets him stay bounded to Middle Earth is within the Ring. The most that Vader 😊_could_ do is banish Sauron by destroying the Ring. But he simply does not have the capability to do that. With The Force he could fend off Sauron for a time but eventually he'd become a Ring Wraith.

In the books Sauron needed both one of the strongest elves ever existed, Gil-Galad, and a superhuman much stronger than an average man, Elendil, to be weak enough for Isildur to cut off the finger with the ring. He was already defeated. And both Gil-Galad and Elendil died. And he was not even in the strongest form, which he lost some time before.
Moreover, even if Vader somehow managed to defeat Sauron and take the ring, he would certainly be corrupted by it (it is pretty clear he is not that much resistent to corruption, not at all) and it is said by Tolkien himself that noone except Gandalf can resist to the temptation of giving the ring back if put in front of Sauron himself. I think he got a point
@@tommasoscola5229Uhh Tolkien’s said no one could resist the ring, not even Gandalf could. The only person capable carrying the ring for as far as they did was Frodo and even he failed to resist the ring in the end.
The ring doesn’t necessarily turn things invisible. It extrapolates the abilities of the wearer. Being naturally sneaky, hobbits get turned invisible. Mayar like Gandalf on the other hand get insane boosts to their magic. Mortal men would have great physical strength and durability. The only unifying power of the ring is longevity.
This Is incorrect. Isildur used the Ring to turn invisible AND escape the orcs pursuing him when it betrayed him. Invisibility AND longevity are actually both side effects, the One Rings intended power Is domination

Not technically true either. Sauron lacks a 'true form'. What you mean is that he has an indestructible spirit; though this is no less potent than that of Gandalf's or Saruman's. It is simply a property of Maiar's souls and not something that would really boost Sauron's power or anything

You do realize the very idea of that is older in fiction than even Tolkien, right? The idea of the soul transferring into physical objects has been depicted in old tales of witchcraft and necromancy for literal centuries. Tolkien didn't create it or even normalize it as a concept.

Sauron didn't put part of himself in the ring to achieve immorality. Voldemort and his horcruxes seem more of a variation to what is often called a "Lich", this idea seems to originate from the ledgend of Korshei the deatless.
He did though, it wasn't the entire reason he did it - but investing a large portion of his power into the ring made truly killing him impossible so long as he remained the Lord of the Rings, and he knew that was how it worked since Morgoth pulled the same trick with Arda itself (though probably unintentionally on Morgoth's part). Infusing it into a ring let him function at full power while wearing it unlike Morgoth who diminished himself, and gave him mastery over any other rings made using his methods for free - but he probably wouldn't have done it if it didn't make him even more immortal than he already was.

Give or take a few thousand years, he becomes a weak ass ghost without the ring he can't INTERACT unless he has some level of tangibility

Vader is the embodiment of the force that binds the galaxy or the universe together, so if you want to use full immortal sauron benchmark then consider the full power state of Anakin Skywalker who has both side's powers in perfect balance and can probably manipulate miniature black holes with the force like legends Luke Skywalker. Vader probably wins in a martial duel and from a soul perspective both dark lords are effectively immortal.

But his universe have thousands bilions of people probably much much more. And he is stronger than all of them.
Its like countries and sport. Its very difficult for smaller countries to compete with huge ones, because they have much more players to choose from the best ones.
If you must choose your team out of 100 people, you probably wont perform better than someone picking from 100 000 people.

How come a Darth Vader can cut through Sauron’s magical mace so easily, but Davy Jones can block Kylo Ren’s attack with a normal sword later in the video.
Because Kylo Rens sabre has a weaker kyber crystal, hence the crackling

I always wonder who would win in a fight between the three Dark Lords.
Probably a tie, or Sauron wins extreme difficulty.
Voldemort would'nt last much, the real fight would be between Sauron and Vader.
Vader, in his suit form, wouldn't last long either, not like it was shown in this showdown, sauron would've used magic and totally obliterated Vader. If we consider Vader in his Anakin form, so dark side user, full potential chosen one, and all that derives from that, he might stand a chance against Sauron. If we consider Dark Dimension Vader, Sauron would probably lose. But, we shall also consider the forms of Sauron, consideing that all I've said is based on his armor form. In his Maia form (Mairon, his original name), he would probably beat Dark Dimension too. In his Necromancer form, he could beat suite Vader but not full potential Vader. In his spirit form, it is almost the same as Maia but a bit less powerful, and without a real body. In his eyes form, he... Watchs Vader.
