Such a horrific situation. It’s already scary enough going out in the world bc you never know what could happen, but now you can’t even be safe in your own home! I can’t imagine what this whole family is going through adjusting to their new normal and also dealing with the trauma of how the situation happened. You never expect to send you child to the potty perfectly fine and then in an instance your whole world is flipped upside down.

They said they didn’t knew she was shot until they got to the hospital. They just thought she hit hear head and that’s why it was bleeding
