If you do change your snare head, I would suggest the red hydraulic coated. I used the Red heads from 89 until they stopped making them . Think I'll try them them again.
I am fairly a plain jane when it comes to appearance, so these are a bit loud for me (visually) but love the sound of them. I am pleased to know they come in glass which just looks like a clear head. However, these would probably look great on my flat black Yamaha Rock Tours.
They sound cool but I don't want them in red. Hopefully they make the same in clear. If not I'm willing to keep on muffling with gels and rings and stuff
Evans Hydraulic Glass Tom heads are they good as i live in apartment building as i am trying to find out what would be best to not disturb Neighbors I have the MAPEX drum kit
I teach lessons at a place and I use Remo silent stroke on my toms,on my snare is Evan’s drum mute, and my bass drum is a regular head,my cymbals are those cheap Amazon cymbals and they are great BUT if your in an apartment and noise is of concerns, electronic drums is an option
@@mghc7 I just Sold my Roland E-Drums i just couldn't get the same feeling as i have been playing for years of playing on the Acoustic drum kit, I've spent more Money on the Roland than ever and I had to spend another $400 on a Drum Speaker that's a lot of money in total my Roland's were a little over $4,000. sold all yesterday and picked up the Acoustic Pearl Drums heck of a lot less, the only problem is when you goes to do a Gig you will need Power to plug them in. Acoustic is no power needed.
All those muted cymbals can still be loud,I’m sure on here there is a video of people using them, it sucks I know, but in the end, if you do have an apartment like you were saying any other thread electronic Drums might have to be an option
@@mghc7 Unless I can buy the 24x24 square Foam puzzled Mats and add a double layer for the flooring it's the guy down stairs who called me to tell my kick was to loud when i had my First Acoustic Kit before changing over to the Roland's.
Yeah the bass drum is always an issue for sure.. check out those muted pads that you just put on top of the Drum heads like I said they do have them for all of the drums. They pop on and off but once again they’re expensive.
The black hydraulics would look awesome too.
Dave Gibson those would be rad too
Got these heads yesterday (with the free UV1 head), they look and sound awesome
Cool man, yeah they’re holding down tight for myself as well
I used some player points and got the snare head. I liked it so much I got the entire set. Should have them Wednesday.
Nice enjoy for sure
it is now the watermelon kit..looks awesome...think i'm gonna try a red hydro on the bass drum
Yeah their rad for sure

Thumbs up for the Benny Hill music
'Yakety Sax: by Boots Randolph. And yes, it's also used for the Benny Hill theme song.
