gusto has been good and was actually underhyped (Lyon fans were saying he was trash), Jackson as well for his price and experience has been solid, the board screwed him by not bringing in an actual striker to help ease the load (this was supposed to be Nkunku but he got injured before the season even started). Caicedo and Enzo are a bit overhyped but that's more bc of their pricetag which they can't control, Enzo was very good under Potter and has been playing through a hernia issue which has now gotten surgery on and is out the rest of the season. Caicedo has been pretty solid all season pretty much playing in a 1 man midfield, he just had some big mistakes that cost us some points. also none of these guys are on big wages besides Sterling who has definitely been underwhelming this season
@@BrightenedNoteit's kinda weird, but there are matches where his workrate is very solid, helping with his runs and passes. Not a lot can be said about his finishing, but his positioning is also solid (at least in the lesser matches). It's just his style isn't exactly what is required from a team like Chelsea. In smaller teams, no problem if you're a creator striker that relies on your teammates a lot. But in bigger clubs, you have to be able to create goals by yourself, especially in hairy situations.
@@BrightenedNote he has 12 goals and 4 assists in all competitions not bad for a 22 yo striker who was playing barefoot in Senegal 6 years ago. He’s also not a natural number 9 he was a winger until Villarreal converted him to striker midway through their season last year in which he scored 13 goals in 13 games and that’s pretty much how we ended up buying him. He wasn’t supposed to be the main guy that was supposed to be Nkunku but he’s been injured all season. Only thing Jackson lacks is finishing and composure he does everything else in terms of hold up play, passing, making runs and even his pressing at a very high level especially given his age and experience level.
It’s not really their fault. No player can excel without a proper structure. Chelsea was basically spending huge amounts of money totally randomly, with massively inflated fees for unproven players. No plan whatsoever- and it shows
Everyone is overplaying Cole's goal count. He's got 9 from pens, most of which he did not earn. So, he's got 11 npG, one more than Jackon. That's a big difference than 2x.
I think they should change the rules to make the player who got fouled take the penalty like basketball free throws. let the team pick the shooter for handballs just like now.
We´re not overplaying him without Palmer´s goals and assists we are legit in a relegation battle and even without the goals he´s clear above the rest. Palmer is a baller. I don´t know what weirdo started this we don´t count pens thing someone still needs to score them! Palmer has been vital. Stop looking at football like an ai bot.
As a hardcore Chelsea fan, all i can say is Poch is the last of our problems. Even if i am the only one, i will support him. Managers suffering needs to change.
As a non Chelsea fan, I'll die on that hill - you could have been even more successful with much less money spent if you just stuck with one manager for a longer period of time and included him in creating the project. You wouldn't have to reset the whole squad every three or four years at the very least
Anthony showing his name after man u win the penalty shootout against conventry is absolutely shameless… imagine your ego being so high that you felt that was the right thing to do after that horrendous performance
To play devil's advocate for Clearlake and to give context to Chelsea, I will say the following: - A lot of the players brought before weren't this injury prone, this is only something that has happened this season. - Of those players brought, a lot were expected to be given time to grow. - Jackson was brought a 2nd striker as a back up to Nkunku or to play in a front 2. - Badiashile and Disasi aren't that mistake prone, it's only when they play together they are. (They are having to play together as we have no other CB. - Silva's age has caught up to him and we can only really play him in a back 3, which we don't have any wingbacks to do this atm. - Despite scoring 2 goals against City, Sterling hasn't been a good senior example for the players and is in awful form/confidence atm. - Poch has brought out the best form from Gallagher and since then, the reports of him leaving has died down. (Probably why we're looking to sell Maatsen instead now) - Enzo and Caicedo don't seem to play well, Caicedo's best performance's have been without Enzo. but Enzo has been playing with an injury for half the season. End of the day Poch has done a poor job managing this team and both him and the board has done a poor job explaining the project and taking the pressure off this team. I reckon we need to do some finetuning of replacing of the squad dynamics (need an out and out LB who is not injury prone) and to prevent the constant injuries from happening (which the club does seem to be investigating. Once we have a fit team again, we should have a clearer idea as to where this club actually stands
this is 100% facts, fully agree with every point you made. I think Caicedo and Enzo can work but we need a true DM behind them whether thats Lavia or Ugochukwo as Enzo/Caicedo aren't really DMs
Thing is: - Nkunku is not a striker. If Chelsea think he is, that is serious misprofiling. He is a 8/10. Which means Jackson, the striker converted from winger, is the only option upfront. Palmer is a wide striker. - Thiago Silva should have been phased out much earlier. - Sterling is still somehow Chelsea's best attacking option. - Enzo is a Fabregas-esque player with much less defensive awareness/contribution, Caicedo is more of a box-to-box type (not at Kante's level), Lavia is a dribbling CM a.k.a not an anchoring type, Ugochukwu is an unfinished product. Chelsea midfield is a mess, only held together by Gallagher, who can do a bit of everything (think of him as the Cobham version of Darren Fletcher). - Chelsea will sell Maatsen to balance the book, but they cannot get rid of Cucurella, a very bad LB who can neither get his defensive posture and positioning correctly nor complete a decent pass forward.
@@therockbat Have you actually watched us this season? Nkunku only gets played as a striker and scores when he does (he works well in a 2 man attack) Sterling is now our worst player Gallagher has been our best player and the only one actually showing passion to play for us. Cucurella has actually been decent for us and shows up in big games. Enzo has stopped being made to push up as far, making him more defensively solid and has been playing through an injury.
I have been seeing Chelsea matches because of Enzo Fernandez, after seeing almost all the season I can tell you that it's literally Palmer, Enzo and maybe Petrovic vs 19. There was a moment in a match a couple of weeks ago(I think it was the Sheffield one correct If I'm wrong) where Enzo makes a perfect pass and leaves Jackson 1v1 and he doesn't even shoot, that right there is every Enzo match in Chelsea. He's been really good but only palmer helps but it's not enough if their front 3 are basically training cones.
Lil fact: Gianfranco Zola is Chelsea fifth all time top premiership goal scorer with 59 in 229 games over 9 seasons. Palmer is on currently on 20 goals in 28 games.
Zola only played in England for a bit over 6,5 years, he joined Chelsea 8.11.1996 and left 1.07.2003. Still, he came to the Premier League in his thirties because he was "too old" and "not good enough" for Serie A and spent over six seasons in Chelsea as the star of the league. It's still hilarious to me, ngl But yeah, Palmer is very good, especially considering his age and circumstances. I hope he keeps up his hard work because he may become a great player one day
@@zosiazaremba7479 my bad, apologies, 1996-2003, 7 seasons. Don't think of this as criticism of Zola, I'm not a Chelsea fan but he is one of those players that I loved! More of a statement of how good Palmer could be. He's only 20 and he's carrying a team with a huge reputation. If he maintains current levels he could have more goals than Drogba in 6-7 years! If he sticks around that long.
@@tikemyson5627 he was 30, which back then was a much older player than it is today. Look at Kane being 100m at 30. No one thinks Salah is too old now at 31, the worry is how do you replace him. But back in the day most players were on the downhill at 30 and retired by 34-36. I'm in no way saying zola was bad, he's a legend, it's more a statement of how good palmer could end up being.
The Jackson criticism is harsh. He’s very clearly not the finisher needed right now but to downplay his talents entirely is ridiculous. If you spent any time watching him you’d know there’s a lot of talent to work with there
@@Samuel-hd3cp It looks effortless as well. He managed to outpace Walker during the city game and possess very strong dribbling ability. Personally I see him best utilized moving forward as an inverted forward playing off a target man. That way he’s allowed to focus on getting into the space left behind the #9 while removing the pressure placed on him to be the main goal threat
I have been watching Chelsea since the 1990s. I can remember the club being relegated. Clearlake and Boehly have no clue how to build a football club. Chelsea could end up like Everton. Their best players this season are Palmer and Gallagher who can't get into the England team. Chelsea is now a mid-table club.
Scoring 8 out of 11 pens is not being a good penalty taker. Thats actually below average performance. Pens being credited with around 0.8 xG. So yeah letting him take the pen is not a good idea
I wouldn’t put it past them because Man United and Chelsea are the type of teams that look like absolute clowns for a long stretch, and then have that flashy moment or do extravagant things like draw Man City 4-4. Now take this logic but apply it to they suck for a few years, and come out of nowhere for 1 year. If you get a promoted Leeds back into Europe, England’s triangle of toxicity is set.
We're all high on copium, that's for sure. I was watching MU playing against Sheffield and genuinely wondered who would be lower: us without Palmer or you without Bruno
Chelsea will likely challenge for top 4 next season, I doubt they’ll get it though. They lack the consistency to make a real push for anything further than that.
Chelsea need Experience it’s all well and good having very talented young players but when they lose their confidence and composure you need someone we can tell them that they will be alright
Cole palmer is the best striker to help Chelsea to win matches and we should get Thomas TUCHEL back to Chelsea because he helped us win champions league against Manchester City and agains Villarreal in the UEFA Cup
Its not pochetino’s fault , the owners have these unproven young players as a project who dont know what to do on the pitch , only palmer and gusto would fit in abramovich’s chelsea , rest are mid table team players - both new keepers - afraid of the ball disasi , badiashille are the worst defending duo in the history of this club caicedo is still playing for other teams but not for chelsea enzo likes to walk in the parks mudryk has no passion or aggression , only will show up in 1 out of 10 games jackson is more of a winger than a striker , lacks that killer instinct All of them are a project
Agree with you but poch neither has personality nor has shown a style of play if player are doing similar mistakes every match then manager has to take a blame
"Chelsea have lost in six finals at Wembley in a row." "Chelsea have only scored 1 goal at Wembley in their last 7 matches." You can also add the funny thing that Chelsea weren't in the Champions League this season, with the Final being held at Wembley.
As a Chelsea fan I can confidently say Nicolas Jackson is a project we need to invest he is good at everything ( link up play and etc. ) except shooting I do believe he will get there
I agree. He is what we expected mudryk to be. Raw talent with flashes of brilliance but no end product. I hope someone works with him and teaches him how to properly finish cuz he can be a very dangerous player
Against man city, i know he missed a lot and was dreadful. But i liked that he was trying. He was constantly finding spaces in behind , trying to dribble even if he is alone. If we let poch do things his way, then he should come good.
I love every Chelsea fan here in the replies I’m finally seeing the type of optimism I’ve had for Nicolas Jackson 😭 I hope you guys feel the same way about Badiashile who is just having a slump
@@josealatorre-lopez7551yes bro i remember badiashile was really good under potter. He is having bad games maybe because he has just gotten back from injury and maybe some confidence issues when the entire team is underperforming. Only if the owners learn to bring the players cautiously and fix the medical team, we would be good with poch in coming years.
I feel like Chelsea (which has arguably one of the best if not THE BEST youth academies in the world) tried to copy Real Madrid model (i.e invest in youths and let that work out) but only faster. They thought they could just buy out entirety of squad with massive potential at once unlike Real whom are cherry picking and also have mentors on and off the field to guide them. Chelsea squad is just pure vibes and no direction with only Thiago Silva being an only mentor figure.
Pochettino can coach young and hungry players. Poch can’t coach established player, or more like the ego filled players whose salary are over the top and they think they have made it. Well they have made it, and long contract and high pay, why bother. Poch don’t know how to deal with this type of players. He has to come up along with them.
a team full of blacks more often than not doesn't have good team work, a mix is best. Africans often like to grab to lime light for themselves and less likely to share a pass, especially in highly competitive sporting environments.
Things might have been better if nkunku James and chilwell were always fit but let’s hope they don’t get injured next season cause then sell them cause they ain’t playing anyway
Not condoning an invasion is "woke politics" apparently lmao. Also you're acting like Chelsea (owned by Abramovic) had any say in Abramovic (the owner of Chelsea) being forced to sell. Do you have any idea how stupid that is? Do you think Abramovic kicked himself out of Chelsea?

Chelsea 6-0 Everton Arsenal 4-0 Chelsea Some would imply Arsenal 30-0 Everton but I would not be surprised if Arsenal lost vs. Everton in a paper rock scissors fashion (Hope not).
Chelsea could take pioli off our hands. We don't want him anymore plus there's a chance that he brings them up to the top again but you'd have to let him stay for only 2 or 3 seasons then because he will fk it up in the end.

No plan whatsoever- and it shows
That first meme as a Man Utd fan hurt and made me laugh at the same time. I feel the pain Chelsea fans. 😭
man i wont lie, that angry rantman tribute really put tears in my eyes. Rest in peace legend
This is worse than OJ saying the glove don’t fit
And I’m a Barca fan
Chelsea spent more money in the last 3 years as the yearly GDP of San Marino. If they have any problems they are well deserved.
What about the players they sold?
This did not age well... we have passed Man U😂😂😂
This channel deserves more subscribers.....the overall quality he give his viewer's is class!
Fitting tribute to the Angry Rantman. RIP legend
Dude thank you for shouting out to angry rantman
Rip
You're a true legend my sir
Lol 10 days later, we’ve got the European football secured and ManU gon finish way below us 😅
Everyone is overplaying Cole's goal count. He's got 9 from pens, most of which he did not earn. So, he's got 11 npG, one more than Jackon. That's a big difference than 2x.
I think they should change the rules to make the player who got fouled take the penalty like basketball free throws. let the team pick the shooter for handballs just like now.
You’re definitely a clueless American.
Fr, if jackson finished his chances yall would be in t5
Lol but so has been every manager who has come. Dont you think players like Madueke are prime Bums?😂😂
@@codeaperture sorry bro, but do you agree or disagree with me? 🤔
As a non Chelsea fan, I'll die on that hill - you could have been even more successful with much less money spent if you just stuck with one manager for a longer period of time and included him in creating the project. You wouldn't have to reset the whole squad every three or four years at the very least
I’m with you 10000%
Anthony showing his name after man u win the penalty shootout against conventry is absolutely shameless… imagine your ego being so high that you felt that was the right thing to do after that horrendous performance
That was a fucking disgrace, Antony will be back playing in the Favalas soon.
I have been taking care of myself as well as my family, but this football club is giving me unwarranted depression. 💔
Take a break if you need it, you have no obligation to be shackled to something detrimental to your health
To play devil's advocate for Clearlake and to give context to Chelsea, I will say the following:
- A lot of the players brought before weren't this injury prone, this is only something that has happened this season.
(Probably why we're looking to sell Maatsen instead now)
- Enzo and Caicedo don't seem to play well, Caicedo's best performance's have been without Enzo. but Enzo has been playing with an injury for half the season.
Thing is:
- Nkunku is not a striker.
Nkunku only gets played as a striker and scores when he does (he works well in a 2 man attack)
Sterling is now our worst player
Gallagher has been our best player and the only one actually showing passion to play for us.
Cucurella has actually been decent for us and shows up in big games.
Enzo has stopped being made to push up as far, making him more defensively solid and has been playing through an injury.
Here's a stat you won't believe, Nicholas Jackson has 15 Goals and Assists in 33 appearances this season.
He could have 5x as much if he actually finished his chances
Less than .5 contributions per game is not impressive
@@steveg8533 its top 20 in the entire league
Top 20 🤣🤣🤣 amazing 👏
Actually 16 g+a I believe
Didier Jackson 🔥🔥
Nicolas Drogba 😂
One's one of the greatest premier league strikers of all time and a bonafide Chelsea legend, the other is Didier Drogba.
Lakaka jackson
It's still hilarious to me, ngl
But yeah, Palmer is very good, especially considering his age and circumstances. I hope he keeps up his hard work because he may become a great player one day
Zola was like 34 when he came to Chelsea lol
@@zosiazaremba7479 my bad, apologies, 1996-2003, 7 seasons. Don't think of this as criticism of Zola, I'm not a Chelsea fan but he is one of those players that I loved! More of a statement of how good Palmer could be. He's only 20 and he's carrying a team with a huge reputation. If he maintains current levels he could have more goals than Drogba in 6-7 years! If he sticks around that long.
@@tikemyson562730 to be exact
@@tikemyson5627 he was 30, which back then was a much older player than it is today. Look at Kane being 100m at 30. No one thinks Salah is too old now at 31, the worry is how do you replace him. But back in the day most players were on the downhill at 30 and retired by 34-36.
I'm in no way saying zola was bad, he's a legend, it's more a statement of how good palmer could end up being.
some players make it in football more for strenght then skills and brains. Jackson is one example of this
The Jackson criticism is harsh. He’s very clearly not the finisher needed right now but to downplay his talents entirely is ridiculous. If you spent any time watching him you’d know there’s a lot of talent to work with there
Jackson is a lot faster than Saliba. That is frightening pace.
Damn Chelsea won the tremble but in the opposite way going trophy less for the third time😂😂
He made a mistake we won club World Cup and UEFA super cup in 21/22 so it’s been 2 trophyless seasons not 3
Live in Texas but have a coworker that is from London and is an avid Chelsea fan. His favorite quote is “GO ON POCH!!!”
This just cement the managerial job that Tuchel did between February to May 2021 as one of the greatest I’ve seen
It would be dramatic if Chelsea and United bounce back and are in top 3 next year 😅. As a united fan it's a defiant dream
I think the new owners around Boehly don't care what happens with club as long they make a profit, same thing with ManU
Its not pochetino’s fault , the owners have these unproven young players as a project who dont know what to do on the pitch , only palmer and gusto would fit in abramovich’s chelsea , rest are mid table team players -
both new keepers - afraid of the ball
disasi , badiashille are the worst defending duo in the history of this club
caicedo is still playing for other teams but not for chelsea
enzo likes to walk in the parks
mudryk has no passion or aggression , only will show up in 1 out of 10 games
jackson is more of a winger than a striker , lacks that killer instinct
All of them are a project
Agree with you but poch neither has personality nor has shown a style of play if player are doing similar mistakes every match then manager has to take a blame
@@abhishekbijalwan2246 what more can we expect from average aged squad of 22-23 years
"Chelsea have lost in six finals at Wembley in a row."
"Chelsea have only scored 1 goal at Wembley in their last 7 matches."
You can also add the funny thing that Chelsea weren't in the Champions League this season, with the Final being held at Wembley.
A United fan talking about Chelsea's problem 😂😂😂
As a Chelsea fan I can confidently say Nicolas Jackson is a project we need to invest he is good at everything ( link up play and etc. ) except shooting I do believe he will get there
exactly he has everything besides finishing bc he's a natural winger that got converted to striker at Villareal halfway through the season
Buy the league ,
Chelsea proven with 1 billion you can buy nothing for that much money
Love to see you do a run down of Everton. And what can they expect after 3 years of fighting relegation. What options do they have?
I feel like Chelsea (which has arguably one of the best if not THE BEST youth academies in the world) tried to copy Real Madrid model (i.e invest in youths and let that work out) but only faster. They thought they could just buy out entirety of squad with massive potential at once unlike Real whom are cherry picking and also have mentors on and off the field to guide them. Chelsea squad is just pure vibes and no direction with only Thiago Silva being an only mentor figure.
Any1 here after United lost to Arsenal and are below Chelsea in the league table?
Pochettino can coach young and hungry players. Poch can’t coach established player, or more like the ego filled players whose salary are over the top and they think they have made it. Well they have made it, and long contract and high pay, why bother. Poch don’t know how to deal with this type of players. He has to come up along with them.
Chelsea need to stick with a manager and give him the signings he wants poch comed in and has signings from potter
Since bro made this video Chelsea is cooking
a team full of blacks more often than not doesn't have good team work, a mix is best. Africans often like to grab to lime light for themselves and less likely to share a pass, especially in highly competitive sporting environments.
Trossaed has a far better football IQ than Mudryk
He’s also 6 years older ?
Things might have been better if nkunku James and chilwell were always fit but let’s hope they don’t get injured next season cause then sell them cause they ain’t playing anyway
Shouldn’t have ditched Abramavich due to woke politics. You get what you deserve, Chelsea.

Some would imply Arsenal 30-0 Everton but I would not be surprised if Arsenal lost vs. Everton in a paper rock scissors fashion (Hope not).
Chelsea could take pioli off our hands. We don't want him anymore plus there's a chance that he brings them up to the top again but you'd have to let him stay for only 2 or 3 seasons then because he will fk it up in the end.
