      "The em dash can be used in place of a colon when you want to emphasize the conclusion of your sentence."

    Why is #26 that answer shouldn’t there be a subordinating conjunction joining the two clauses or whatever you wanna say? Am I missing the point here in see the word we after the first part that doesn’t connect the two sentences ? That’s a comma slice aye ? Idk

      Like I get the whole answer just not the part where subordinating conjunction was brought in and then put a comma after the answer wasn’t a subordinating conjunction aye? Please help

    Have a question what happens when the first sentence ends with the word “are” then puts the colon and list the objects, is that gramatically correct?

      We only use colons after an independent clause. Soo no because if it ends with “are” it’s NOT an independent sent. or clause
