Learn how to do this Knotted Waterfall hairstyle on yourself. I think that this is much easier than a waterfall braid so give it a try! It will work on medium to long hair but make sure that your hair is tangle-free use water/gel if you need to tame the flyaways. The first version is cute for pictures but the knots will eventually become loose since it's not really a braid. I prefer the latter hairstyle because it looks unique and feels more secure. :)

Love your easy but elegant hairstyles! Most of them I can actually accomplish by myself- and that's saying something! I can't keep up with all these damn braids. But half are pretty easy. The french braid is easy. The dutch braid is basically the same as the french braid only you're going from under, not over. So this one is basically like tying a knot in your hair but not finishing the knot. 😂

The picture was similar to the braid in your video. When she first showed me the picture I thought no way will I have time to do this hairstyle tomorrow before the dance. If it's your own clean hair, why would it be gross. Is it just the feel of it that you don't like?
The style is cute, but using a clip would be more hygienic. Your saliva can transfer to your hair. Also it might start to smell like your saliva. I used to do my hair like this as a kid, but after I realized what my hair had on it I got grossed out. Also my mom is a professional cosmetologist and she told me this is an improper way to style hair as well. People have differing opinions on this, that's cool; but I was just wondering if anyone else felt this way.
