- I fish many different brands of crankbaits and found out the fish were tuned into a few specific details. Berkley 3B Fatdog Shallow Snoop, Daiwa Silverwolf shad 40SP, Duo Realis (sinking), Atomic HardZ chubby 38mm shallow.

Note: Out of respect and courtesy for others, I refrain from naming spots unless it's a very popular spot. I don't mind others mentioning the spot it in the comments and I often leave enough evidence for those that want to find the spot, to be able to work it out from the video.
New videos every week!

Enjoy this video guys! Looks like rain is setting in but this video should heat you up! 😍🔥
Perfect timing. On a solo lunch break right now ;)
@@NpgSymboL Haha, the perfect plan Npg!
Shroom what Go Pro do you use
Would any of these bad boys work on snapper? I know the season is upon us 😂
Small pannies maybe Rob! The big ones would demolish these lures haha
Worked hard for that one mate... Great vid.. I kinda like it when you struggle. Makes me feel better :)
Haha Michael, I'm always grinding and suffering and grinding some more! Glad you enjoyed this longer video 😎
Great Video mate, love ya Work!
Thank you Adam! Makes the late nights worthwhile 🙏
Another great video Pete! Love watching your vids bro. I appreciate the fact that you show your mistakes and laugh at yourself. Thanks for keeping it “reel”!!! Take care.
Thanks F ESP! Plenty of laughs and mistakes as always 😂
Nice vid mate. With the SX40 copy from strike pro try just a slow roll with no pauses. Best around structure. I'm loving the little Daiwa infeet rollin cranks lately. You should give them a crack if you haven't fishin.com.au has them I think
Thank you Boris! I got a nice fish on the Strike Pro used in this video but I botched the filming a bit. I may still post it up in the future! I'll have to check out those Rollin cranks and source them from Adam in the future! 😀
Good stuff shroom keep up the great vids
I appreciate it Anthony! Will do. Some more hardbody videos coming up! 🔥
Hey shroom! Good spot that one, have you ever fished under the bridge near the club there? Its a really good spot, caught some flathead and bream on a GULP shrimp camo using a weedless setup :)
Tight lines mate!
Nice one Connor. That's the perfect rig for that spot. It's very snaggy so I might give that a run the next time I am there 💯👊
hey shroom - sorry if im revealing the spot or not but was that on the place called the 'bay run'?
shroom man you upped your editing game!
Thanks a lot! Always leveling it up 💯
3:24 why do you do this to your line? snag?
Ronmb81, yes that's right. It's a bit more effective for soft plastic lures that are snagged but the technique still saved me several times this video
The lure was bigger than most of the fish. Nice flathead to finish.
Haha that's true Mal! Goes to show even the smallies love a hardbody in their face 🔥
Shroom back again with another banger!!! Good stuff bro
Thanks Alex! Always back again bringing the 🔥
Awesome video. Great selection of lures to fish with 👍
Thank you Moey! Hardbody fishing is always fun and the lures are so cool 😎
Shroom what go pro do you use
GoPro 7 Hero Black. More details in description
Thank you and great vid 👍👍
is that the bay run ?
Love tour vids keep it up!!! :DD
I appreciate it Neworu! Do you mean when I take my time and walk around? 😁
@@ShroomFishing yes its cool and it feel relaxing
@@neworu8668 Thank you for the feedback. I'll try to do more of this
@@ShroomFishing yaay thank you
Do you have job other than RUclips just wondering
Yes Asher. Wish I could fish and make more videos though
Do use swivel on the other end of the leader when using soft plastic lure?
Not at all Jack, just leader to lure
🙋♂️
Another underrated channel.
Nice vids bro!
Love these informative lure technique videos, Shroom! Keen to see you try the Daiwa Slippery Dog vs Bassday Sugapen or the Duo Realis popper vs Daiwa steez popper challenges some time!
I hooked onto a massive Kingfish with the Duo Realis Popper in the rain the other day at Botany Bay but it smoked me under some oysters rocks and destroyed my leader. It looked well over 65cm. Keen to see if you can succeed where I failed on light gear 10lb line haha
Thanks Hai! I've used most of them and on light gear, the kings will always have the upper hand. Maybe when I run into them again next time I'll chance my hand 👍
Cool video
It is
Thanks guys
Super video, realism at it's best. Stumbled on you by accident but, you've earned a well deserved new sub. Looking forward to your next upload, assuming I've finished watching all your previous uploads first. ;-)
Awesome John. Welcome and I have a full length video every Thu. Definitely check out the previous videos 🔥🙏
When do you use a shallow diver and when to use a deep diver?
Adrian, depends a lot on depth and terrain. A general rule is to get the lure as close to the bottom as possible without snagging up. So if the lure is not touching the bottom, deep is better. If it is hitting the bottom too frequent and hard, then a mid or shallow. Also shallow sometimes better when you're fishing over snags or weed beds and you don't want to be in it, but passing above it
@@ShroomFishing awesome .thanks for the knowledge
Giving me confidence on my divers, i havent caught anything yet HAHA. My bloody patience :(
Watch me catch one now that ive watched this vid
Soon William. Let me know when you strike success 🔥💯
Hey bro, would you do a review on the Rookie Hooker Shimmer Prawns? Or have a go at using them?
I haven't heard of them before Jericho. I'll have a look into them if people are interested in it 👊
Cool vid mate !
Just goes to show that you need to keep your options open - if a plastic isn’t working try a hardbody or a vibe .
So true Ian. May have been shooting blanks all session without some other options 👌
Great vid
Thanks Christopher!
What a save .i though your lure was gone for sure.
Great flathead.
I thought it was certainly in jeopardy too Hilton. Lady luck was on my side there 🍀
Great vid shroom
Thanks Jono! Tried some new things here to spice it up 😜
@@ShroomFishing haha yeh!
Nice video
Joseph 👊
Nice
Thanks Flurobike 👍
What size leader are you using?
I'm using 6lb leader in this video. 6-10lb is a good range
Great video champion, exact spot I had my crazy day catching 16 bream in 4 hours, was there last week and there was a big school of kings smashing through massive schools of mullet, they made the biggest wake shaped like a V hitting the mullet , just the noise it made was crazy, happened for about twenty min, but too far away to cast at, so it's a great spot ,should be good this weekend after the rain,
Thanks Anthony! Crazy bream sesh you there, and that's tantalising seeing kings running amuck just outside of casting range. This amount of rain should be okay for the rivers 👍
can i ask where this is. like maybe what suburb or where its close to. im still learning how to use lures and this looks like a good place to pratice.
Hey shroom what sunnies are they mate.
Hey Nenad, they are Mako Covert Rose 9596 M01-G2H5
@@ShroomFishing i love that lens but they dont make a true xl.
I got some feedback from them hopefully by the end of the year there will be sonething for us melon heads.
Lol
@@nenadnedovic9246 Yeah it's a snug fit for me too and I don't know how to classify my head size but it's on the big side lol. I hope they do, the lens is amazing and it looks good too even till this day
How much leader do you generally use for braid to fluro
I think he uses about an arm span, approx 1.7m (arm span length) but i have caught fish on as little as a fore arms length of leader.
Supablueman is spot on Nick. I add about 30-50cm more on top of the arm span length if I need the stretch (usually I do for hardbody fishsing) or I'm expecting some abrasion higher up the leader.
@@ShroomFishing how heavy is your braid and fluro are you using?
@@monkeyboykongking 14lb/0.6PE braid and 6lb fluoro leader
