As a school bus driver and old truck owner I love this thing! I’ve been daily driving my all original US ARMY 63 Ford Stepside truck to school to drive bus. I have a 49 Ford F1 and 2000 5.0 Explorer waiting on me to build! Great content!!
@RaysGarage-dl4bq I sold the parts a few weeks after I took it apart. The bed pieces were all welded to each other, to the frame, tp everything really, as it was mostly home made. I didn't want to store the entire chassis.
Awesome build. Just wondering; did you think of lowering the arches so the gap would be less dramatic. 3 to 4 inches. Maybe half the width of the bumper (where it's doubled) and just ad a innfill plate over the arches. 😅
Merry Christmas to Me! Not sure how I got here but I think I’ll tag along if it’s all the Same to You, Dave watching from South Central Pennsylvania, a Very Merry Christmas to you and yours, along with all else who may read this comment. God bless you happy new year.
@SixPackDan Two reasons really. I always wanted to build a mid engine truck, and because it was too massive of an engine combo to fit under that little dodge cab without being a nightmare to work on. Thanks for watching!
@SixPackDan I figured it was a lot less heat in the cab too. Originally I planned to put a rollback wrecker bed on it and I thought it would be easier for roadside repairs too.

Looks amazing! You do great work. I think you should make the engine cover into a fake sleeper and add some cool exhaust stacks. Great build!

Badass build, your work is very impressive. The truck turned out so good.
@@chrisrose9960 I appreciate that comment!!
I would have just pulled the cab off and given him the rest and saved yourself many hours taking it apart

Just curious, maybe i missed it. But why mid engine? I guess it could have a huge frunk

What about the bed?
@channelofchannels7845 i was originally planning a roll back, but since have sold the truck to someone building a car hauler on it.
