This was so helpful! I am a recent graduate and I am in the process of preparing for potential interviews. I get so nervous when I think about the interview process. Your suggestion of being confident was so encouraging. Great video!

You can say that you support diversity by building a positive and safe classroom environment. From day 1, you want to make students feel included and respected. Bring in different texts in your classroom that support diversity. Make an emphasis on respecting others. You can secure equity (fairness) in your classroom by differentiating your instruction. You should look at your students' strengths, challenges and interests so you can give each student what they need. You should look at the learning objective and ask yourself how can I help students succeed. What do they need to be successful.
dont forget to look for diversity in school staff as well. Especially if you're an aspiring educator of color.
Justin Reynolds-Lohani Thank you! That was actually a good one!
