Not that bad failure, you will get there. When authum rain comes I just increase bicarbonate dosing. Kh 3-4 in summer but increase slowly to 6 for safety in winter.😀👍
Have you checked your KH? Are you sure it's the rain and not your KH being depleted by your filter bacteria ? Check you tap water KH and if it's like 6 turn your trickle flow up or buffer with Bicarb. That tub is what I get my compo out of daily, they are very handy. You could use some foam or filter floss to fill up the gap and then push it back down a bit, then put the CT1 on top. Would save you using so much CT1.
hi ads mate just a question where are you getting your polycarb from just asking but if your struggling to get sorted have a look at the glazing shop its where i bought mine fast delivery as well the pond pergola will benefit nicely with a polycarb lid on it cheers martyn

@@ADS-KOI polycarb is pretty strong stuff adam and if its pinned down properly with plenty of studs it will hold perfect ,mine is holding great with no damage, think as long as its twin wall cells like mine it will be ok but its each to there own and all down to what you can afford 👍👍
