I’ve seen some people on yt say you can tap-strafe on controller, thoughts?
Mokey if you use your ult if its empty and punch at the same u dash forward idk if this is a glitch but its super op and even harder to time than super glide ive seen people use it in videos and pubs its even more op than tap strafe and bunnyhoping you need to press them at the same time

I figured out how to do no. 2 on controller the other day. It was hype as hell too
I find that the best way to tap strafe on Controller is to do 2-3 forward inputs while you use your double jump on a jump pad while you move your camera

For the number 4, you can combine multiple direction inputs, so if I input A+S ill go backwards and a little to the left. Don't know how useful this is, but this may help in some situations where you don't have much space and you need a very precise escape.

The punch method is by far the one I use the most. I've escaped many times with it and occasionally it has made tracking down a kill easier

mokey I found this wraith phase glitch that if done properly u can't negate the cooldown(not using portal) but I feel like it's an fps type thing and I've only been able to get 3 consecutive phases in a row without cooldown I was wondering maybe u could figure out timing of it?

Is there a way to tap strafe when I use MW up for jump and mw down for weapon switch? I find it impossible to use number keys to switch weapons, I’ve never been able to, and I know the usual way to tap strafe is using the mouse wheel for a W input as well as a jump input

A cool upgrade to your keystroke visualizer would be to change your WASD keys to show up as just arrows for the directions. It would be more relevant to gamepad players and people that use alternate controls ;)

u can also do it with backward tap strafing if you have a toggle for it, i uploaded some demos, thats how i came across this x/ the punch one seems easier tbh

I haven’t been using the jump pad punch since like season 5 it’s soooooo useful. Edit: if you crouch and do it it sends you on the slide version

I unconsciously discovered No. 3 on my own the time I learned how to tap-strafe since I thought that was the jump pad tap strafe that everybody else was talking about.
I would love an ultimate tap-strafe guide very much. I've occasionally tried to do what you're told to do to tap-strafe, and never got it to work ... I might be missing something or the learning process isn't documented well enough to realize what the intermediate steps look like

Any interesting ways to interact with Jumpads whilst downed? Theres been many situations where a backwards Jump-pad could've potentially gotten me out of a situation, but usually one can't melee whilst downed, so I have to akwardly crawl around the jumpad only to get gunned down by the time I got my direction right
