You can also drag the chords from the chord track to an instrument chord. And if you have Studio One professional, you have access to Note FX which can do arpeggios and one key chords, really handy especially when first starting out

That circle of fifths is more useful than that. There are five chords surrounding the Cm chord. That's the Cminor scale

@@djmarxmadeit I was about to write the exact comment as False Doctrine Destroyer wrote, and then saw his.. so i guess i'll second what he said! It's the same in our house, producing metal/hiphop and parenting. I like that you stopped and gave your attention to your child. I probably wouldnt be sitting here writing this comment if you hadn't. One can get so sucked into production, it's important we never ignore our kids trying to grasp a fleeting musical idea. Anyway, i came here to learn a bit about this chord feature on studio one and you covered everything i wanted, so thanks a lot dude! Peace & Love

Hopefully you have learned it by now, but that circle is not the scale, it’s the circle of fifths, which is arranged in fifths so you don’t count the chord numbers like that. The fifth chord will be one step clockwise from the tonic, so in this case it’s Gm. The forth chord will be one step anti-clockwise from the tonic, so Fm.
Learn to use the circle of fifths, it’s a really powerful tool.

I don't think FL has chord detection. In studio One I can detect the chords from any audio file, and then save it as a midi file. I can program a random 808 pattern in Studio One, and then choose "bass" where all the midi notes snaps to follow the chord progression. I can have a chord progression, and you give me 8 different audio loops and with the chord track I can have those loops follow the chords (this is audio).
