- Hello all, here’s another video of Vocaloid things. I would’ve forgotten today was Hatsune Miku’s anniversary/birthday if it wasn’t for Kreifish’s community post… so thank you Kreifish for your community post.
I apologise for the incomplete sources. I will update these sources over the next couple days including the names and authors.

God I wish any other company was in charge of making GUMI’s game. If the first game was good and maybe successful, we maybe could have gotten a Project Diva Series but with Internet Co. loids.
I would literally love to have a project diva game with gumi, and also some of the lesser known vocaloids like Oliver fukase vflower and piko (especially since he sadly got discontinued recently)
@@apollomcchikennuggets2906 sadly, I doubt their respective companies would even consider it since they’re not even near Miku’s popularity or have enough popular songs (except for flower, I really think gynoid has the opportunity to get into the gaming market with how popular flower and the Meikas (and maybe Xin Hua) are, specially flower.
@@randomname1924 true, i would love to see a game with flower and the meikas =w=
Definitly would buy it
@@apollomcchikennuggets2906 If that happened we could've gotten some GHOST songs in which would've been cool
@@randomname1924 The MEIKA’s aren’t very popular and Flower as a character is not popular enough to warrant her own game. She’s popular as a voicebank, but popularity as a voicebank doesn’t always translate to popularity as a character. Honestly in that department, it’s really only the case for the Cryptons since they’ve been promoted to hell and back as characters and voicebanks. It’s the reason why Project Diva was so successful.. Miku and her crew are popular and recognizable as characters too. and now they have project Sekai to further expand their reach.
you broke the sacred rule of never talking about-
[glances around]
*Gumi's game*
Poor Gumi
She deserves better
Ngl I tried playing it on an emulator and honestly, it's really good.
@@orion_meta1428 i wish i had the game so i could play it cause gumi is my favorite
I feel embarrassed watching the game even though I'm not even a Gumi fan
happy birthday Miku!

@@Sinc3r3ly i broke the 39 likes sadly, lasted 4 days
Gumi's game: I'm the best haha-
IA's game: Mhm excuse me but I'm the best-
Project DIVA: pfff- *AMATEURS*
XD yes
Project Mirai: I said AMETUERS
Project Diva had effort and love put into it until the original team left. But even now the game series is still pretty good.
Funfact: Gumi’s game was known only for being either being really bad or just by fans, it also released on the PSP which is kinda dumb because the previous year, the PS Vita was released and the second Project Diva had already been released on it, And what makes it much worse is that all of her models are just edited Mamama models (MMD). It was so cheap and low budget no wonder a sequel never came out, IT WAS MADE IN MMD DAMMIT- But the songs, were good, I guess.
They said all of that in the video though why put it here?
@@jas-3980 I wrote it before.
The songs were good because other people made them lol

same
@@khuonghochai do you know how to download songs?
I can't find any link :(
you need a ps controller to play (just a forewarning, i made this mistake of getting without having a ps controller)
@@meldoy39 i had a ps3 generic controller but now its broke by playing too much
I'm waiting for Project Sekai
@@BernkastelW1tch its uhh... already released
Game for people wo cant afford device to play and the game 💀
The the Gumi game reminds me of Pokémon Sword and Shield in a way. Both are considered bad by the Vocaloid and Pokémon fandoms, both cost 60 dollars normally but 90 specially.
I bought sheild and in all honesty its decent I could care less about the Animations/Graphics for me its the story
Are you gonna do a part three featuring Sekai and stuff? I’m not sure if there are enough games to justify it, but it’d be great if more people knew about Sekai, it’s such a cool game.
Probably but it would either be its own standalone video or paired up with Megamix
@@daveejonesey don't forget about miku tap wonder too.
And miku flick
@Ginelle Servat I love tap wonder~! Also Miku Jump is fun :D
When you’ve been a vocaloid PD player for years and never knew about gumi’s cursed past
I didn't know about the IA game. Neat! :)
Pretty much no one remembers it
Things about PPD:
- there's more difficulties, like Master
- star ratings can go beyond 10
The fact that there is a gumi game is weird, I didn't even know about it, a psp game on 2013 WILD
"I would’ve forgotten today was Hatsune Miku’s anniversary/birthday if it wasn’t for Kreifish’s community post… so thank you Kreifish for your community post."
I was going to go on a huge riot if you forgot Miku's birthday.
Oh then pdp is kinda like a project diva osu?
We need a teto game ._.
Mega mix included teto
@@tp2657 yes I know, but she has not songs
Hate to be blunt, but making Teto a game when her popularity has diminished is a waste of time, effort and money. It’s too late honestly just give her a song and project diva like triple Baka
need a game featuring the utaus idc if everyone who isnt teto only gets one song
Hey, at least MARVELOUS improved by a lot with the arcade game WACCA
I feel bad for Gumi, she is my favourite vocaloid so I wish she had a better game
Unpopular opinion here!
I like megpoid the music and i play it pretty often
Im starting to actually get better at this game haha
Thanks for making this video!
and let’s take a moment to wish a happy birthday to Miku
Mantap sih emg cenel bang jonesey, slalu lengkap riset dan sumber2 nya
Maybe it’s just me but i actually really like megpoid the music
I do too, It's not perfect but I really enjoyed it
Wow! Never knew about IA’s game before the video!
So uh... What about Mix Mode in Mega39s/MegaMix..?
@MARC PASTOR There is no mention of Mix Mode in part 1. It has entirely different gameplay to the standard arcade mode.
@MARC PASTOR ruclips.net/video/3EsC0aw2i9c/видео.html
@MARC PASTOR Yes Part 1 mentions the *game* MegaMix but not the exclusive *mode* "Mix Mode" They only show the normal "Arcade Mode" gameplay that's standard in the other Project Diva titles.
Gumi could be enjoying higher popularity if her company was able to manage their product better. For God's sake, she was number #2, #1 after Miku at one point, has good vocals, has a fanbase and they release a PSP game for 60 dollars with MMD animations. She performed with Miku at the opening of a concert. They had it good.
Sometimes I wish Crypton would just buy Gumi to give her that needed care. Oh well. First world problems definitely aren't virtual singers' popularity lmao.
Dude, these people who can clear Project Diva in extreme mode scares me
Also: if you dont like Hisokee or dont treat him like a god, we will launch you to mars
I love Gumi but the game is awful
Over a year later... it's true for PPD
You forgot mikutap and project sekai
I am fully aware but there's only so much I can put in a video
tbh i would play ppd for all the songs i love that arent in project diva, but i just... don't really like the gameplay in future tone. it's mostly the really weird double/triple/quadruple notes and the holds for me honestly. also the slider sound effect is horrendous. i've watched videos of people playing it and the charts looked like they just threw a lot of double notes and fast quick spam sections, mixed with random hold notes that dont fit the music. im sure some people enjoy it, but i just really don't like the charting style, although i would probably enjoy it if i liked the charts more since i prioritize synchonization to the music and how goos it feels to play over difficulty. idk i just wish ppd had another option for the f 2nd style of gameplay, especially star notes i really miss those :(
I'm one year late but this is exactly what I feel. I got to play Project Diva arcade a couple of times and when it's released on PS4 as Future Tone, I bought it. Heck, I even bought it again when it was released as MegaMix on Steam. I kept playing and eventually I had to admit that the playstyle isn't to my liking at all. Like you said; double, triple, quadruple and hold are just not fun for me. Project Diva F and F 2nd are my most favorite gameplay wise.
I was waiting for the mobile games F
The game mechanics can be learned, but the other factors are problematic.
P o g
Looking at some of those pvs in Gumi's game.... bruh, even Project Diva X had better PVs then those-- (imo, you're free to disagree)
I definitely agree but PDX was released in 2016 so I'd give the graphics of Gumi's game a pass
@@daveejonesey yeah. The graphics have a pass due to the time period but the PVs also just look nicer in general in X and thats the game in the series people like to complain about boring dance pvs. I mean, comparing Name of The Sin to the examples you showed in the video makes the difference kinda clear.
i still hope they release IA/VT for xbox like i want project Diva Megamix+ too
I tried Megpoid the Music and you can tell is kinda cheaper in quality than Project Diva, the gameplay feels really old and sometimes it's hard to get used to the mechanics.
I would like to try IA Colorful VT because it looks funnier and interesting, although that it looks like a Rail Rhythm Game and I am not a big fan of those but yet I'd try it.
I wish there was a new Vocaloid game that doesn't be a BangDream copy or a Idle clicker game. I need a new rhythm game with a refreshing gameplay.
GUMI tiene más canciones en Taiko Festival
Y en Groove! Se le tiene más en cuenta!
I dont think anyone commented on this but 7:03 the small circle moves automatically you just have to focus on when the notes hit the center of the small circle my only take away from this game is that there was no calibration and some of the songs were poorly synced
My problem is gameplay, same problem as gumi's game, d-pad/action buttons are their own thing not the same
I think it would have been a bit better to compare Megpoid the Music # to Project DIVA extend since it was the last Project DIVA game on PSP game before the PSVita was released. But I understand why you compared it to Project DIVA f because it came out around the same time. I just feel like it's unfair to compare a mere PSP game with a PSVita game knowing that there are obviously better graphics and better PVs in the latter.
3rd part?
What's the song at 3:24?
pog dood
First to say first
I don't understand why people hate megpoid the music. Probably it's not good?
Edit: now I understand why people hate megpoid the music. Gumi still needs some love.
Because of the games mechanics, song length and also the PV and playstyle
@@KirkukisTurkmen oh
