For me, I don't think you can beat the Garlic butter tbh ... But I use black Garlic in mine, with salted, Devon butter ... Don't want to mask that juicy Ribeye do we ? 💕
How are your subscribers so low! You're one of my faves. We need to do something about this, haha. Love the new idea of 6 sauces with a steak. Love that they are short, easy, no waffle, no music. I think that's what I love most about your videos.. the lack of music just makes me appreciate what you're saying and the food itself. Please dont change this style :D
What a brilliant video! Classics all in one. 👏👏 We will all come back to it to try them all. My favourite is the peppercorn sauce but I like them all. The mushroom sauce and cheese sauce would go well with chicken wrapped in bacon type of recipes too I think. It’s indulgent super cooking that I personally like to do and enjoy but can’t always, teens, special diets for some……Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial. Really good. 👏👏
Nice sauces Nikki! Personally I’d always deglaze my steak pan and use the same pan while the steaks are resting. Other sauces you might want to try are Instead of brandy (1) or white wine(3) try Drambuie and try adding port to your blue cheese sauce. 👍
I love Diane sauce and have been searching for a good recipe for a while - thank you! I will try the other aswell. I wish this was available in print do you have a cook book with these recipes in?
In my humble opinion, a good steak does not need a sauce, but I often serve steak topped with sauteed garlic mushrooms. I do love a good blue cheese sauce though! Great video as always, Nicky! Lovng the content although it is still getting in the way of my weight loss program lol.
I find it remarkable that THE famous Bernaise Sauce, one of the recognised top 5 primary sauces in professional cooking/culinary history associated with steak & meats... didn't even get a mention!! Wow.
Fantastic idea for your video, I’ve done all the sauces in the past , but I’ve forgotten them. Now have to decide which one , they are all yummy. Thank you
My favorite steak sauce is S&P. The best steaks don't need sauce, but if they did, I would definitely be going for that mushroom sauce. Looks great! Happy Cooking, UB
The sauteed potato video was amazing. Will definitely try that. Do you have any videos for exciting green veg side dishes like broccoli, etc? Will do a sauce with the steak and the sauteed potatoes but after that it's just boring old steamed veg so would love some other ideas! Thanks!
Wow...where have you been? I am so glad to have found your channel. Your sauces are right on the mark as well as very easy to understand. Thank you so much!
Oh my goodness, I cannot wait to make these sauces and my all time favourite is Steak Diane and now I don’t have to wait for a special night out to eat it. Thank you 😊
Hi Nikki! I was looking online for peppercorn sauce recipes and came across your video for steak sauces. For to use with chicken, can I change the beef stock for chicken stock? PS...do the peppercorns soften in the sauce?
Hi Nicky! What a wonderful video; thanks so much. Is there a big difference between shallots and brown onions, which I tend to use for onion gravies and sauces? Thanks!! Peter A :) :) :) xx
If you watch America cooking channels, they never cook in the proper sequence. Caramelize the onions first. Put liquid on garlic as soon as you can smell them. Things of that nature. I'm an American and am a subscriber to Chef Jean-Pierre's channel and he has brought my culinary arts skill to phenomenal heights just by knowing the proper sequence. Oh, and Mise En Place! I've stopped running around the kitchen trying to find the next ingredient.😂 Love the Mushroom Sauce recipe!!! Trying it really soon! Love your channel and Subscribed 🔔 👍!
I believe the peppercorn sauce is called "au poivre" sauce. I love the bleu cheese sauce the best. I just love how you talk. You have such a pleasant voice.
My wife today said how she has a craving for peppercorn sauce. So pleased you did this RUclips recently as I am going to surprise her with this recipe instead of the packet sauce she was planning to get. Keep up the great work 👍 DrZorders
Hi Nicky I love you web and can’t get enough of watching you cook wonderful food, unfortunately I cannot eat most of them, Could you please make some recipes for blood cancer I would be most grateful blessing ❤️
Your peppercorn recipe looks fantastic. My wife, who is a great cook, refuses to believe Black Peppercorns can be used, she thinks you MUST use Green Peppercorns in brine. Can you explain why Black Peppercorns work really well?
What's your favourite steak sauce (or topping)?
Peppercorn!
For me, I don't think you can beat the Garlic butter tbh ... But I use black Garlic in mine, with salted, Devon butter ... Don't want to mask that juicy Ribeye do we ? 💕
Beef dripping. Hate peppercorn and never tried any of the others.
I am all about the HP Sauce. It’s that good. ❤️
Bernaise 👍🏼
Thank you. So simply explained so effectively used the time to record so many sauces. Thank you again.
This is my No.1 YT channel for recipes, each video takes you slowly through each ingredient and method.Thank you Nikky
By far it’s Bearnaise sauce. So creamy tart and delicious. Add some green roasted chillies if you’re near the Southern border.
These are wonderful sauces. I'm will definitely be referring to this video again and again!
Amazing sauces! Now all that's left is getting the freezer full of steaks to give those a go lol!
Should never freeze steaks
Wow wow wow, you have managed to squeeze in so many recipes, you make it so easy for us to follow, brilliant as usual 👍👍👍
All them sauces look incredible and you make them look so easy to make. Thanks for the video and inspiration.
This is great. I’ve always wanted to make my own peppercorn but it’s always too thin. This is lovely.
Peppercorn sauce is amazing. Absolutely completes a steak

and white wine

Love your channel, straight to the point without any waffle.
Looking forward to the next one
Thank you for including creamy mushroom sauce. I find it very frustrating that restaurants don't offer it on their menus.
My steak with red wine sauce was a hit with my in-laws! Thank you!!
Wow! You are fab and British so all your ingredients are easy for me to get. Thank you 👍🏼💛

Not always possible unless you want a cold steak as some sauces take time (mushroom sauce for example)
This is a brilliant lesson on sauces with clear instructions. This lady rocks
Has to be peppercorn but definitely going to try the red wine jus ...... Looks delicious 🤤
I love Diane sauce and have been searching for a good recipe for a while - thank you! I will try the other aswell. I wish this was available in print do you have a cook book with these recipes in?
So happy that you’ve done a video with all the different sauces 😍
The mushroom sauce looks good with some cooked pasta tossed through it for an easy weeknight dinner served with garlic bread 😋
You are a mind reader, I had that for my dinner yesterday 😋
You know she's British when she refers to black pepper as fiery
I don’t care what she is. I love her recipes.
I've understood by her accent. Duh..
In my humble opinion, a good steak does not need a sauce, but I often serve steak topped with sauteed garlic mushrooms. I do love a good blue cheese sauce though!
Great video as always, Nicky! Lovng the content although it is still getting in the way of my weight loss program lol.
Bull you might as well take a bite out of the arse of a Bullock passing by.
I will be trying all of these ❤️ Thank you 😊

Is it acceptable to just have 6 sauces as a meal?! They look divine!

The peppercorn sauce is incredible, had it last week and I can’t wait to make it again already 😍
They’ll all absolutely fabulous I can put all of those recipes together and make one sauce absolutely lovely👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi Nicky, a serious question. Why do you use unsalted butter and then add salt to the pan anyway?
Fantastic idea for your video, I’ve done all the sauces in the past , but I’ve forgotten them. Now have to decide which one , they are all yummy. Thank you
My favorite steak sauce is S&P. The best steaks don't need sauce, but if they did, I would definitely be going for that mushroom sauce. Looks great!

This was a tremendous video and so valuable to amateur cooks!!
What would be a good alternative of the white wine for the mushroom sauce? I feel like vinegar might feel too acidic on the tongue.
Blue cheese my favourite followed by peppercorn 😋😜
Chris's 2 favourites right there.
Fantastic 👍 gonna be trying them all, thank you 🙏
❤❤❤❤love your recipes❤❤❤cheers from The Netherlands
I’m definitely saving this video! All of them look delicious!!
