+RC944jim seems very balanced when throttle off with no FOD :). You can have props spin at throttle down if you want. No need once you are skilled.

With the 250 what happened you had problems with the camera and transmitter was Walkera responsive?
Pretty quick little beast. Pfft .. I'm still 3S-in it on my ZMR250 ... which I've not flown for some time, due to weather and flying the X380. FPV video in the Dominators wasn't too good ... lots of noise and break up. That sure makes it hard to fly when you can't see. I had my X380 out 3000+ feet and lost FPV .. had to RTH to get back video so I could fly it home. Ordered some Birds Eye View antennas from NL which are supposed to be really good .. we'll see. Cheers.
+Bill Somrak I think the TBS panel antenna was not liking the stock f210 clover. As always, antenna matching will be in order. Sounds like your having fun with the X380 :)
Don't know if you've seen the new RF Power Meter from Immersion RC? Watched a review on RC FPV Flight the other day. Great tool for picking out strongest channel on a VTX, and for measuring effectiveness of antennas. Price is a bit steep at $150, but if you're serious, its definitely a good investment. I can see a club buying one of these, and passing it around between members in order for them to validate their setups. Cheers! Oh yeah, the X380 seems to be flying well again (fingers crossed).

This is the best review of the F210 by far. Like the commenter below I too have the F210 and only currently on rate mode (mix level 2). I also would like to see a vid on how to properly do flips, barrel rolls, and whatnot.

Walkera stepped up with this good quad. They did the prototype 250 version, NOT so good. They learned what to fix,and they really hit it out of the park. I have their X350 PRO. The original X350 was flawed. The manufacturing quality greatly improved with the PRO. My 1080P camera packing version does a respectable job of aerial photography. I would suggest you invest in one or two of IB CRAZY blue(RCP) or green(LCP)race (Shorty) antennas. They are really GOOD. I also would suggest you purchase a 45 degree adapter for that parch. If it faced straight forward, you can head track. That patch has a narrow reception angel, probably 38 degrees or so, may be 8 to 12 DB gain. Your FPV will will be clearer with less break up close in and "FAR OUT"man. Great video, as usual ! Keep on keepin on. :-)

I am. New to quads. Right now I have the walkera ladybird lol. I wanna either get a runner 250 or the 210.which is more agile and fast. Is the 250 model just as fast as the 210?
I have the X350PRO. I had a Ladybird for quite a wile until I lost it in the top of a tree. Never laid eyes on it again. Super little bird! I would suggest the 210. I believe it to be a bit more responsive and tougher than the 250. Both are good. ;-)

I suggest you shop around. Ebay,Amazon, BangGood, ReadyMaid RC, ETCETRA. Parts, Try BangGood or Walkera. I think DJI pioneered the Flip Of Death with their un-INSPIRE!

Hi Dustin, I have the swagtron f210 which is same quad but the mix button seems to be the same for all positions (Angle mode). I. Try n to learn how to do a ( roll flip) but in position 2 and 3 on the mix it seems to be just starbalized mode. Anyways when doing a flip do I kill the throttle and do full left or full right with the right stick then when its upright give throttle? no one ever really explains this trick in detail. Please help me if you can. Thanks man!
Yes to learn flips cut your throttle almost to zero then back on when it's upright again 🍻
I've a question for you. I have also the walkera f210 and the fatshark dominator v3 but my signaal is so bad. What receiver do you have in the goggles?
you need to show us a video of your hands while doing those flips. I have the 210 but crash on LOS flips. awesome video

Yes, still solid flyer and faaaast. I'm using the Venom 1300 4s lipos. It's honestly too fast for my skill level.
OK I know you like the Eachine 250, but which do you choose now - Eachine 250 or Walkera F210?
+Mark Sherman F210 is faster and smoother but at a higher price than EACHINE. So depends on your budget.

well, i struggle a bit with the choice of my antennas, which one did you bought? i hear people say that the aomway clover leaf are the best ones, because the quality is good while the price is low
+sub aomways are good, strong and cheap. I used ibcrazy ultra matched set recently and they were perfect but expensive.
My only FPV experience has been with the DJI FPV drone. Seems like the screen is better on the DJI than this. Anyway, now looking for my second drone.....
you need a better antenna on your quad. Good flying for the first time with goggles!
I think he used rhcp antenna for one but the other was lhcp maybe ? ...because it loses signal badly if they are not polarised the same
thanks for the review, only thing puts me off is the lack of provision for carrying a hd cam. Will be interested in your opinion of the fatsharks, you seemed to be getting quite bad break up with that antenna.
+Fraser Poole yes no easy solution for an hd cam. I think an aftermarket FPV Cam guard with a spot on top should be out any day now hopefully. Yes, I'm not sure the TBS panel antenna was playing nice with the f210 clover leaf. I'll try some others soon.
I tried to make some flips on this quad but the motors they just turn off completely when I try to get zero throttle, I was about to crash it!
Was the video quality better in fpv looking through the goggles than it the recording?
Hi Dustin, thanks for the top vid! Is there much improvement with the fatshark goggles over your Quanum goggles? I've just started FPV with a 250 quad and my Quanum V1 goggles make it hard to see how far i am off the grass until i crash! lol. What do you think of the difference is now that you own a set of fatsharks? Im thinking of getting some. thanks again.
+Phil Dawe hey Phil. The screen is a bit higher res and is smaller all information of your central view. You don't have to look around the screen so you can react faster. The antenna combo in this flight were not well matched so it should be much clearer with less breakup with better antennas. There is also the nice and compact size and you look much cooler wearing these/as some pros :)
thank you that is really good to know. the point you made about centrality of view and thus faster reaction times sounds like a big plus as well. it seems like a logical path as i think i will be learning & experimenting with FPV for some time to come yet. was considering some walkera goggles for lower $, but all the online FPV dudes seem to like the fatsharks as part of their staple FPV diet, for the reasons you mentioned. I really like the looks of the f210 and the fact that it's so durable, that being said I'm not really into FPV or racing , no insults please. On another note I wish there was a quad made in this style with the same durability just for fun sports flying. I'm only an okay flyer and a quadcopter built like this is what I am searching for but most are built with very little durability in mind. Would you consider this to be too speedy for an average flyer who just wants a fun quadcopter ?
+redjack56 It will be more docile if you use 3s lipo instead of 4s. With 4s ID recommend having some 4s experience prior or at least be able to fly line of site well. They make them with auto level so it's really still very easy to fly until your comfortable with Horizon or Acro mode.
+Dustin Dunnill Thanks for the advice. If I decide to get one I would definitely be going with 3's. Like I said I'm not really into the racing or FPV aspects of this quadcopter I'm more impressed with it's overall durability. I actually wish there was a quadcopter that has the qualities of the F210 along with the flight modes of the Traxxas Aton. I like what I've seen if the Aton so far but I like the size and ruggedness of this racer. I just want to have fun along with varying control modes.

Hey great review. I'm contemplating purchasing this model. I have previous experience flying a hubsan 501s in manual, and I would like step up to a race quad. There talk on Amazon of a faulty fail safe or the fail safe Not being set-up properly. My only reserve. Is this fact?

I don't know anything about walkera. But I'm assuming you can use the devo 10 for this quad.

What changes did you have to make to the F210 to run it with the Fatshark Doms. Antenna, receiver, etc? Or did they work togther right out of the box? Thanks

Does this quad come even close to your armatten 130 performance wise? im trying to decide between these 2. i like line of sight flying the most and am thinking the 210 being bigger might be better for me. awesome flying and very informative video. Much more enjoyable hobby thanks to guys like you.
+jeff Carpenter Thanks Jeff. This is fast and would honestly be easier to see LOS. Unless you plan on flying the 130 FPV it is tuff to see LOS. I would say get the 130 if your going to mainly fly FPV. Get the f210 if your going to do both or mainly fly LOS.
When you do the full throttle and pitch forward, I kinda think to myself is that what a Cricket 🦗 on crack would look like when it jumps 🤔😆 HAHA jp, this thing is awesome!! I know it's an older quad but I'm new to The FPV world, so it's all still new to me. I'm actually considering getting one of these or something similar with the 3 different flight modes. I had a walkera rodeo 110 but the main board went out in it and it cost almost as much as the drone itself. Would you happen to have any suggestions for other drones that you might think would be better for somewhat of a beginner for me to take a look at? I would like something around this size, maybe a little smaller or a little bigger, I'm open to suggestions.

Hey I have 600 to spend on a racing drone and have a couple none more then 200 so I haven't had many but would you recommend this drone or do you have a better recommendation for the price.
Thanks for the reply Dustin, any idea what's going on with my mode switch as to why it is in angle mode for all 3 settings? When I attempt a roll it still wants to hold the 45 degree angle and not roll over. I haven't played around with the throttle cut too much. One more thing should I be in dual rate mode? +Will Todaro I haven't tested the 320. I'd recommend getting the he 32 channel module for the fatsharks and you'll be able to tune into the 320.

+MK Lee depends on what vrx you have in them. I had the standard 8 channel but now just purchased the 32 channel for more comparability.

Hey guys, I was out with the F210 3D today and noted that in stabilised 2D mode, I can't quite get enough forward pitch which causes the quad to ascend altitude as well as moving forward. Can I easily program to give me more forward tilt when in stabilized mode?
Hey Dustin great video. Dud you have any problems with the fatsharks connecting to the F210. I was thinking about getting the Attitude and had one hobby shop tell me the fatsharks won't work with the Walkeras because their receiver is proprietary I see lots of peeps using them here on RUclips including yours. Thx..
+ezra behrens You just have to plug in an aftermarket 32 channel receiver in place of fatsharks and you can pickup the signal. I think I linked it in description?

+Marcel Jong yes, I was using mismatched antennas here. With a matched set of quality antennas it will be very clear

+TheCladi8or I would. I didn't have any issues with it aside from my bad FPV antenna matching. It is very fast and stable as you can see. A good rtf kit.
The f210 will connect to the fat sharks easily? I just purchased walkera goggles 4 that will not connect I think I'll return them for some fat sharks
I have some walkera goggles 4. by pressing and holding down the Gold menu knob it will set the goggles to scan for a signal automatically. I just got this drone up and running today and had no issues with video feed on the goggles 4.

Hi Dustin, did you have any problems with the FPV signal in your Fatsharks as I get to about 20 metres out then everything goes to snowstorm. Not really sure what the problem is, any ideas please?

Yeh was correct. I have heard there were some issues with faulty VTX's but am going to swap the stock antenna out for one of my own to see whether that solves the issue if not will look into VTX. Thanks though. :)

+RC944jim That sounds about right for a 1300mah on this quad. It's a race quad so will suck the juice. There is a bind procedure. I think there are videos and instructions on the net.
Question: I'm hoping they fixed failsafe issue with the new f210 3D. And why isn't the video a better quality?? Or does it look good in the fatshark while wearing??
+Dean-o Dambro (Deano Dambro) I didn't have failsafe issue with mo mine. The FPV video is exactly how I saw it. I was using the wrong antenna on my goggles unfortunately. Correct antenna looks much better.
+Dustin Dunnill i bought the 3d version hoping no failsafe problems and hoping it's a good beginner and breakin FPV. I was a little apprehensive b/c no GPS, and wondered if I could ADD GPS to the F210, but I guess I'll just have to play it safe.. :)

Dustin on my f210 I'm just no trying flips. I did a front flip pretty good, and did a side flip crashed and burned. My question is holding the pitch up to long that makes it want to just keep flipping. Or just hit throttle up then hit pitch I tried to see how u done it in your video but u can't see ur remote when u done it. Could u help a brother out please sir, thanks p.s. Good video
Hi Isaac. there are many videos on how to do flips. You just have to get used to it. punch throttle to get some height and momentum upward, let off throttle then full pitch or roll to do your flips. Let off pitch/roll when quad is level and give it throttle again to maintain height. :)
The image from camera is so bad, is it always like that?

you should try using matching antennas.
fpv cameras are never that good at all, the good footage you see from racing drones is with a GoPro, but the pilot does not see the GoPro footage, they just use a normal fpv camera like this one

f210 3D can fly inverted through engine reversing and special paddle props.

The F210 has a built-in VTX. My goggles found the signal first time I tried - just had to scroll through the channels for a bit.
To anyone with a devo 7 and f210. I recently noticed I am no longer able to fly in either horizon mode or acro mode when I put my MIX switch down. On my devo 7.does anyone know why this is going on and what to do?

+swiftripper 747 you'll have so much latency with the go pro you'll be seeing things after they happen. Which is why we use 600tvl cameras. Very very low latency.

Hi please help me to connect F210 to Skyzone V2 Goggles, I play around with the deep switch at the bottom of f210 and bands, channels of the goggles, but still no luck.
+Mic javier you just need to cycle through channels on your goggles until you see the clearest screen.

man i am really struggling on my flips with quads that have escs that stop the motors lol the 200qx 350qx easy to flips 210s and 250s not so much do a video o flips lol
+Ultimatevapor918 you should be able to set setting in software to spin motors when armed ... or just don't drop the throttle all the way... takes a little practice.

Hi everyone. I'm fairly new to the fpv scene and have just ordered this amazing looking quad (f210) along with the fatshark v3 googles. Can anyone advise me on the best FPV receiver and antenna setup for the fatshark/f210 combo?

+Macca B Hi, I'm changing to the standard fatshark 5.8ghz vrx and a set of ibcrazy cloverleaf antennas. Should have optimal image in goggles with this setup.
Dustin Dunnill Thanks Dustin. I noticed you've added fpv to your xk x380 using the fatshark goggles. I've recently purchased the XK 380-C and i think it needs fpv just to keep a track of where you're flying. Can you give me the full list of parts required (easiest to install) to work with the fatshark doms v3 please?

I opened mine and it was LHCP. Putting on a better antenna like IB crazy CP set will always be best but they are not cheap.
