I know I'm too early to even have watched the video but I have to say it's great to see Alex a lot and the obvious effort to show several members of the LTT-Company!
He may not make the most information packed videos but his natural way of saying what he thinks and sparking the excitement over to the viewer makes him great for unboxings and first impression videos! Know your strengths and keep building up on them! You are great! :-)

Coworker bought on of these,checked every box when buying it. It was a global top50 machine in numerous benchmarks, which, for the 15k USD he paid, makes sense.

For anyone wondering the cost of the components, I added up the costs on amazon (including the O11 XL case) and then just added 1.2k for the custom loop cost, (which I didn't look up part costs for as I am lazy and can't be bothered to look for fittings, and converting twd to usd is annoying) the reason for the 1.2k estimation is that I created a loop with EK stuff in the O11D with a mono-block and such that cost like $800 so I just added $400 for the special fittings and stuff, and in total the cost was around $4800
You absolutely under valued the cost of the water loop as well as the cost of the engineer and manufactur who put it together.
It’s a custom water loop not a prebuilt and you also didn’t have to pay for labor…

Got the same case 3 months ago, Lian Li O11D-XL, super easy to build it yourself and pretty good airflow. Just loved the hard drive case, super easy to swap!

The case is Lian Li PC-011D XL, designed by Derbauer if I recall. They just maxed out the water cooling capability on that thing.

In 3 months it will be outperformed by $2.5k builds and upgrading it, would require some serious man labor and downtime.

@@Pwnstared mostly RTX 30xx and Big Navi, which is the bulk of the cost and hassle in water cooling for this PC. Next gen CPUs (Zen 3 and whatever 14+++++ lake) I do not think they are going to be that much better from current gen, but I might be wrong.
I think a super short and super sweet hardware Roundup would do great on here. It's like, "here's what we bought, here's what it costs" give a few opinions on each and then say which one you like the best and done

I've got one these coming, $7500 down, I cannot wait to see it. Maingear has been great with customer service, they actually allowed me to switch from the 2080 I had ordered to the 3080 when the release was announced, as it was still in the "awaiting parts" phase. The only issue right now is the incredibly sluggish pace. I know that it's partially because of the virus but I ordered mine back in June and it only just recently changed from the "awaiting parts" phase to the "in queue" phase, so it's still not even being built yet. The change from the 2080 to the 3080 may also have lengthened the parts phase but I can't help but think this is still taking fffoorreevvverrr.
It's gonna be outdated in like 6 months LMAO

Nice Lian-LI PC-O11D XL case that NOBODY MENTIONED ANYWHERE
I was upset about that, but assumed that everyone on Earth must know the O11s by now, until I saw a comment asking "is that case available OEM or something?" and I went back, saw Maingear had snapped the Lian Li/der8auer badge out of it, and that Alex never once mentioned what it was and acted like the front panel IO had fucking anything to do with Maingear, and now I'm *A N G E R Y*.
I expect better out of LMG.
Man, it looks amazing. But the first thing that comes to mind is if you didn't build this yourself, and aren't familiar with hardline tubing. Assuming something goes wrong with your system, it would be hell for the average user.
And sure, there's a drain port at the bottom and a fill port on top. But you'll never empty the bottom rad's liquid using that drain port. Having done maintenance on my custom loops, with nearly zero planning in my first loop for drainage. I've become kind of obsessed with that. All of my new loops, I have a valve at the lowest component possible. In the case of 'this' case, you would have to drain from the bottom rad, as it's kind of the lowest point in the loop, But since it's pressed against the bottom of the case, no cigar.
The more I look at the tubing setup, I think that without jiggling the hell out of that case. You'd have quite a substantial amount of liquid left stuck in the loop. All those terminals, and what not. Apart at the very beginning of your drainage you can get a bit of suction going that will pull liquid out of terminals to some degree. But in my experience you'll always have some left over. Like the VRM cooling, the top reservoir will surely drain itself completely, but the left side one, will surely have liquid left stuck in the, albeit super sexy, elbow joint.
All this to say. That a person who isn't familiar with these things. I totally see them 'draining their loop'. And then if they aren't careful first fitting they unscrew will cause leakage.
Unless the idea is that if anything goes wrong, to ship the whole thing back to them? That might suck depending on the severity of the problem. (IE, having to reset the video card. lol)
The VRM parallel connection is probably sub optimal thermally. CPU blocks are very restrictive and the vrm block is usually just a straight through so the cpu would end up getting less than half of the flow. Depending on how fast the pump runs it wouldn't be very noticeable but this is obviously happening when you looked at the temps after testing the game.

Good lord so much of the cost goes into the bespoke cooling loop. I have a build in a similar case (different size, same model) with twice as much RAM, a 3960X instead of a 3950, 3.5TB of NVMe drives plus 16TB of IronWolf Pro drives, and 1x 2080Ti - it cost over $4,000 less.
I love the case paneling design. Big fan of how that comes apart.

I "Tried to like" my Maingear Rush. Custom liquid cooled, 3090, all that. On the one hand, I got a 3090. On the other, the actual PC isn't built very good. The first time I got it, the motherboard was DOA, and there was a small leak somewhere I was unable to pinpoint. Sent back and they fixed it and they sent it back. It's a near 3 week shipping each direction. Got it back and it's been working great for about 4 months, but the custom piece going into the bottom radiator started leaking badly a week or so ago. Either I spend $70 on a new box they make you buy and waste 2 months shipping it back and forth and getting it fixed, or fix it myself. Opting to fix it myself and replace the parts needed to. I'm not giving them a 3rd chance to further screw things up. Pretty, but not worth the huge price tag.
Maingear is a top shelf place. Their shop is impressive and their builds are really unique.

I'm not going to lie, I usually stay away from prebuilts but digital storm has always been one of the nicest prebuilts you can buy. Actually making it seem worth the premium with the custom case and cooling they do.
