I never realized how different countries used such distinctly different stitch patterns in needlework. RUclips has been a channel of discovery for me, artistically, in that way. I love your patterns! You do such beautiful work.

I do love this. It looked so hard but it isn't. A one row repeat. As always Alison, you make it look so simple. Love that lilac shade too

Very closely resembles the Leaning Block stitch as well. One of my faves! The twist of using a single crochet front post is ingenious. Easy to work up and goes pretty fast! Thanks Alison!!

Thank you Alison so much for all your tutorials. You are a wonderful teacher and made me want to crochet. I’m a knitter and I think we find crochet harder . However ,watching you , who could not want to try. So thank you so much for giving me something else to master . I can only do the beginners as my eyesight is so bad , but you explain and show so beautifully it makes me want to succeed . You’re an absolute Angel of a teacher xxxx

What weight yarn and size hook did you use? I’m using 4 yarn and a 5.5mm hook U/S. I love the pattern but yours looks closer together and no holes. Where as mine if it’s full of gaps and holes. I’m also new to crochet, is my hook or yarn to big compared to the blueish/purple sample you had at the beginning of the video?
