Well done on the repair and yeah this kind of thing is exactly why I fell in love with my 3D printer, if a button/switch/whatever fails then it isn't a big deal just buy a new one, but if some random plastic piece breaks then most of the time you'll just have to toss the device because it's rare you'll ever find a replacement, but to an extent you can print almost anything.
Dont have a 3d printer but the plastic bits that actuate the left and right mouse clicks broke on me. I wish there was a replacement for those. Even a full top shell replacement would be nice.
@@FilKamiKaze Well, that should be pretty easy to glue back together, no? If not then try sanding it flat then finding some plastic waste to glue to it.

Hopefully that hard drive faired better than the mouse or at the very least didn't have anything too important saved to it
