This studio version of this song is mind blowing. It is also interesting because you actually get to see Brian and Roger singing the harmonies which is easy to miss in the live versions because Freddie is front and center. I love this song, every version I have ever heard including George Michael's version at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. I love the way you have your studio set up, it is very peaceful and impressive at the same time, a good reflection of you.
The studio version highlights the simple beauty of the lyrics and highlights their harmonies. The live versions bring home the true passion and yearning of this incredible song.
So happy to see you doing some Queen songs again. Yup you guessed it they are my favorite rock and roll band of all time. I like all kinds of music, but Queen was then and still is on a whole different level of talent .
Hey Rad... Yeah, that is the #1 reason I fell in LOVE with this band to begin with, the harmonies... what other band could harmonize like that and still rock it out... amazing... and timeless, never get tired of hearing their music... Thanks again for always recognizing genius x4 when you see it... blessings.
I can’t recall if you have done the studio version of you take my breath away, but it’s absolutely (breathtaking pun intended). Live in Hyde Park is absolutely stunning, but the studio version gives me chills.
thanks, Rad! the studio version was Freddie's intention - the harmonies, etc.... but they pretty much eclipsed it with the live.. hard to choose a favorite!
I'm sure I'm one of the many comments on your reaction to that Live Version. Stating only that this particular song is so lovely, with all the sweet harmonies, the hand claps, Freddie's purer vocals. That I always recommend to view this one first. (And it's also fun to watch). THEN when someone does view the Live Versions, they can get a real feel for just how well this band (particularly Freddie) does in concert. Takes it to another level.
I'm going to steer you to a new artist Air Supply (yes they were maligned as too soft rock more likely easy listening) but they had some good music "Lost in love" "All out of love" "Every woman in the world" "The one that you love" "Sweet dreams" "Here I am" "Making love out of nothing at all"
2 OFFICIAL STUDIO VIDEO recommendations: "KILLER QUEEN" & "WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER" . Both of these are Official Video versions so you still get to see them in action! In Killer Queen, Freddie's decked out in a fur coat and in Who Wants To Live Forever, Brian is on keyboards & even sings the opening chorus!
Bro!! You are a great reactor! Since the day this song came out it is my close second best song Queen plays. Bohemian Rhapsody is the best!!! Under Pressure is a close third. It would be fun spending a couple days with you just showing you the best of my life’s soundtrack from 1955 to 1990! There is so much your generation missed out of the greatest music ever made! Your generation just was not exposed to this music. Thank gawd for RUclips and young men like your yourself exploring this music and keeping it alive!
I adored them growing up, saw them multiple times live, and to this day love their music. You should check out their earlier, weirder stuff. Queen II, and Sheer Heart Attack are amazing albums.
I just saw your reaction on 39'! If you like Brian, please listen to All dead, All dead! It's also written and sung by Brian and it's an equally beautiful song
Live versions are great, but there are certain studio versions that are very different. The studio version of "Love of MY Life" is worth a listen to. Thank you for doing this and thank you for your positive reactions, always!
I never get tired listening to this song ❤️ I loved what you said, that they're mostly without instruments, only their voices! I suggest "love of my life" the studio version 🎶🎶🎶
Hey! Rad don’t forget these-Queen songs not listed on your profile of Queen: Bicycle Race, Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Delilah, All Dead, Face It Alone, Flick of The Wrist, Lily of the Valley, Friends Will Be Friends, Get Down Make Love, I’m Going Slightly Mad, Killer Queen, Let Me Entertain You, Life is Real ( Freddie’s homage to John Lennon), Living On My Own, Love Me Like There’s No Tomorrow, Made In Heaven, Mustapha, Nevermore, Princes of the Universe, A Winter’s Tale…look forward to watching you react to these gems.
STUDIO VERSION: “YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY”😍 (If you liked these harmonies, you’ll be FLABBERGASTED… although, I believe that - in this song - Fred did ALL the harmonies himself (He did that a LOT on studio recordings)
This is my favorite Queen song, out of the 100+ in their catalog. I also enjoy the older stuff, or the catchy ones and the complex ones but I always come back to this song.
For sure this one is agenius one freddie's vocals is out of this world for me freddie got his own league can't compare with ant one else ever his range is outstanding just amasterpiece ever been written but every one in this one us perfect thanks great reaction❣️💘
My very favorite version of this is at their concert at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982. Freddie's singing at the beginning is totally unbelievable, so moving and soulful. Please react to it soon!
A lot of the concert videos have great presence, but they were when Freddie's voice was starting to fail. The studio versions are the ones we fell in love with, and went out to buy.
I love love love Queen. Being 60 I was able to follow them when they are around and they are and will always be the best live performers. The music is incomparable and I personally prefer the live stuff. But there is no denying the studio sound is also top of the tree. Nothing like them then and there has never been anything like them since. Thank you for sharing this track on here. Awesome.

Great video. Thank you so much. Excellent.

Agree! 😊👑🔥
❤❤❤❤
Soul Brothers! One picture - one family - Queen!
The studio cut really is amazing. Can’t be replicated live though. I love every version of this one!
Will always love the Live versions most… but that said… this is and always will be PERFECTION 🥰✌🏼
I agree!
Queen : THE BEST
thanks, Rad! the studio version was Freddie's intention - the harmonies, etc.... but they pretty much eclipsed it with the live.. hard to choose a favorite!

Freddie’s favorite song ❤. His voice really is enthralling isn’t it? Such a legendary band.

All are great but I love Freddie's powerful rendition of "Who Wants to Live Forever" Live at Wembley 1986.

I might have to! My goal is 100 queen songs!
The studio version is amazing but I still prefer the live in Montreal version. Milton Keynes also fantastic.
Great reaction again man! 😊 Check out the studio version of 'You Take My Breath Away' 🔥👑🥂
On my list 🙏🏽

Have you ever done Amy winehouse reviews
You have to watch live with Queen, or you are missing out !
Keep in mind that 3 of the 4 band members can & have also been lead singers
Loved this song when it came out and STILL love it.
I never get tired listening to this song ❤️
I loved what you said, that they're mostly without instruments, only their voices!
I suggest "love of my life" the studio version 🎶🎶🎶
That’s a popular request!
Indeed you get to hear Sir Brian play the concert harp for the one and only time (he learnt it for that one song).

You must listen to the George Michael version , amazing, during a tribute concert for Freddie for aids 😂🏴

For sure this one is agenius one freddie's vocals is out of this world for me freddie got his own league can't compare with ant one else ever his range is outstanding just amasterpiece ever been written but every one in this one us perfect thanks great reaction❣️💘
Amazing!
Roger, not having the range Freddie had, could hit higher notes than Freddie could.
Got to see them live at the Forum on their "Jazz" tour - this song is definitely in my top 5 Queen songs.
Easily!
my top 5 Queen tunes:
Spread Your Wings (from Live Killers album)
Cool Cat
Don't Stop Me Now
Play the Game
&
Somebody to Love
I see you don’t have any reviews of the greatest group ever - THE BEATLES. That’s a big omission
