I enjoy all of the Kin videos but, Liesl's dishes always inspire me to try them at home.. which is why she's my favorite. :) Thanks for the fantastic ideas!
I love this menu, Liesl! Beth's menus are fantastic, but the advantage I find with your choice is that you have selected a variety of dishes that are truly healthy because they emphasize vegetables. They aren't that high in fat either (besides the feta, but that's to be expected!). And they are so elegant and sophisticated that even those who are most suspicious of healthy foods won't even know the difference. Good job!
The music in the background is nice! I love the Cocktail recipe. Although, I'm still three short years away from drinking alcohol, my parents and their friends enjoy this every summer!
Amazing! Everything looks great and so easy to do, and I also liked how you gave simple steps to have everything set for hosting the party. Loveeed it!
This video was pretty awesome. My goal for the summer is to recreate this dinner party! Thank you for making it simple and understandable yet soo yummy!!
Yes, Cindi, flank steak would be a great alternative and you could slice it the same way. You may want to up the grilling time a but since flanks are thicker - probably closer to 5 minutes a side. Thanks for your comments!
You can either serve it warm or at room temp - either way is deliciou, which is nice because you don't have to be worries as much about timing everything when entertaining.
You can use any feta, but yes, I think Greek feta is the best for this recipe. I like it really salty and full of flavor. I tried it with the milder French feta and didn't love it as much.
I've plan to try with herb-marinated feta, watermelon and cucumber salad with lime & basil and plum clafoutis as they look really nice to add to regular meal. Thanks for the tips and recipes, Liesl. BTW, love your dress, it becoming you. :)
Thanks so much - I hope you enjoy all of them. I'd love to know how they turn out for you. The dress is a recent purchase from Anthropologie, if you are interested...it was majorly on sale!
I just came across this video today! 8 years old! I was disappointed that I couldn’t find the exact recipe for the awesome dessert. The batter more specifically. Do you have that posted somewhere?
You should try some of these recipes on this menu! If these don't appeal to you, search around Kin Community or look through the rest of the videos on my You Tube channel - there are lots and lots of options.
If you go to the text right under the video, there is a tumblr link that will take you through tot he text version of all the recipes. All the specifics are there :)
Great ideas, yummy recipe! Two questions: for the batter, did you use heavy cream? And what's the cream on top of the clafouti? I'm sorry, I'm not a native speaker of English and wasn't able to understand it. Thank you in advance : )
Please do a gypsy theme party.. i want to do a gypsy party but i don't know what to serve...that would be amazing if you could do a gypsy theme party :) thank you :D
Sorry for the late response. You can definitely make it ahead - I would just make it the day of. You can serve it room temperature or gently reheat it :)
Yes, I just used heavy whipping cream - sorry if there was any confusion. The cream on top was lightly sweetened homemade whipped cream - again made from heavy whipping cream. Thanks for your comments!
I love the way your Kin shows are filmed- just beautiful! My fave is Entertaining With Beth :)
The feta cheese in-a-mason-jar idea (in the mix with herbs and oil) would be a wonderful hostess gift!

The music in the background is nice! I love the Cocktail recipe. Although, I'm still three short years away from drinking alcohol, my parents and their friends enjoy this every summer!
Absolutely! If you do lemon or lime juice, i would use less juice and more agave and seltzer water.
Hi Leisl! I tried this entire meal tonight, and I have got to say, it was AMAZING, also a very big hit ;). Just wanted to let you know and thank you.

Thank you! :)
Love all the great ideas! ;)
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate your comment!
You could absolutely do this drink minus the tequila - it would be just as fizzy & refreshing.
Thanks so much!
Ok, I'll have that fixed - in the clafoutis recipe, it's 1/2 CUP all purpose flour. Thanks for letting us know.
I have to make this :) it's wonderful
The dessert smells too eggy. Other recipes call for 2 eggs. 4 is a lot. I had to chuck mine in the bin. :(
I do think your friends will love it - hope it works out for you :)
You should try some of these recipes on this menu! If these don't appeal to you, search around Kin Community or look through the rest of the videos on my You Tube channel - there are lots and lots of options.
elegant!

Love your dress. Where did u get it?
Please do!
Great ideas, yummy recipe! Two questions: for the batter, did you use heavy cream? And what's the cream on top of the clafouti? I'm sorry, I'm not a native speaker of English and wasn't able to understand it. Thank you in advance : )
That is a question I will direct to Kin since they do the editing. The font for the recipe headers?
Liesl, do you serve the skirt steak at room temperature?
Amazing video😋
happy new year.
Me, too - obsessed right now!
Great!!
Please do a gypsy theme party.. i want to do a gypsy party but i don't know what to serve...that would be amazing if you could do a gypsy theme party :) thank you :D
Could I make the clafoutis batter ahead of time? Or does it need to be baked off right away?
Sorry for the late response. You can definitely make it ahead - I would just make it the day of. You can serve it room temperature or gently reheat it :)
Yes, I just used heavy whipping cream - sorry if there was any confusion. The cream on top was lightly sweetened homemade whipped cream - again made from heavy whipping cream.

I recommend Dodonis feta from Costco
What cheese can I use for the salad if I can't find the one you used?
Glad you like the food. Guess you could just read the recipes ;)
What is the name of the bottles you pour the drinks in? Please!
If you're not a fan of grapefruit juice...can you sub in some other citrus? like lemonade or lime?
Skirt steak isn't a very common cut where I'm from, can you recommend a good alternative?
+Pixie82 Sirloin.
Pixie82 or regular steak or chicken
yummy
Ok, got the word - the font is called YWFT Filbert.
