You’re gonna go thru belts like crazy starting and stopping the auger all the time like that. Try to keep it going if you can.
You should have read the operation manual. On how to use it. Blow the snow behind the mailbox so your mail truck is not driving in deep snow

If you're sick of snowblowing, move to Southeast Wisconsin. My snowblower just collects dust. It hasn't snowed more than 2" at a time all year. If it does snow, it melts within 2 days.
You were in the driveway blowing snow and you had to set the alarm? Incredible , I guess I'm spoiled but I'd have to move. That blower seems to work well.

That 3 stage looks good in the heavy stuff, how do you like it?
It does alright for the most part. In very wet conditions, the intake gets clogged easily and you have to stop to clean it out before continuing. Not a bad machine overall (and hasn't stalled/broken like the two stage it replaced.)

The 3 stage thrives in the deep stuff. Any blower will get clogged up in wet heavy crap. Get a few cans of the silicon sprays and spray the insides down between use, I find that stuff very effective and it’s not expensive.
