Behold the Green & Gold...my son played in the band, the Spartan came to his school, that was his wish,he played in middle school, and high school, went down to NSU band camp, drums was his thing,he made the cut,,,,I was so happy for him,his wish came true.....
I would like to see more hbcu drumlines adopt the corps style. These guys did it spectacularly well without sacrificing the funk/swag hbcu's are known for. Awesome!
Fuck no WT of the Sonic BOOM of the South yall dead last. Should left them lame ass tonals at PWIs. The ony thing that yall can claim is stick skills on snare and that's it. Band as whole ain't worth a damn either, sounds like a waste of a million dollars to me 😂😂😂
@@derrickj45If WT is Jackson State drumline, I've watched a few on their clips and I've yet to find anything to suggest that they aren't replicas to a few high school sections. Much respect to them however for what they execute.
@@JSSti32 The reason why you see most high schools mimic WT in the south is because most former WT members from the 90s and early 2000s became drumline instructors or band directors and taught that style at those high schools. That is how Alcorn and SU kind of gotten plagued with mimicking the same style of play.
@@derrickj45 No, I was suggesting that many WT sounds very similar in nature and visuals to many southern and Midwest high school lines. As I've gotten older, I'm appreciating that styles of play and preferences are geographically mootivated.
My brother marched 4 years with NSU Spartan Legion......20 years later he has high knees💚💛
