The season just start tomorrow here araucania, chile. I bought locator 104 and atk freeraider evo 14 for backcouintry days
How about the overview of the new Liberty Skis you guys teased awhile back? I a big fan of my Origin 101's. I'd really like some data on what to go with once those are demoted to rock ski status...
The Scope 94 and 104 are replacing Origin. Our initial impressions is that they are more flexible and twin-tip shaped versus the slightly flatter profile of your current ski. This makes it more playful and freestyle-oriented than the outgoing models. The new Radian skis that replace the Evolv series I think will be more successful with broader appeal--the Scope seems like a narrower audience to us at this point. If you want another Origin 101, we've got them at a great price right now--stock up!

The new Icelantic skis?
Will you be reviewing the 2024-25 Volkl Mantra's?
Absolutely! That'll be more of a mid-summer project at this point.
Hey teams, I am looking to get a Ripstick 88, but I am not sure about the chatterness on the tip, how bad does it get? Will it get worse on uneven snow? Thanks
It's a pretty light and flexible shovel. For how light and flexible it is, it's surprisingly stable. I find it to work just fine in uneven snow--more so than in firm snow at higher speeds, even if it's smooth.
The content is polished lol no problem but you guys look like aliens LOL the best ski channel on yt ❤️
In other ski news the rip stick 88 black is definitely happening probably maybe
👀
I think it's a pipe dream at this point. Still hopeful.
2025 Fischer Curv GT series?
This is a great recommendation. We're moving through our Fischer feedback from this year's ski test so that line is fresh in my mind. In general, we've found the new 85 to be one of the better pure carvers in this realm with a shorter radius than the outgoing 86 GT. If you felt the older one was more all-mountain, this new one feels more wide frontside.
Would love to see a deep dive review of the Octo by Black Crows
We've skied it sparingly and find it to be light, energetic, and poppy. It's the new version of the Vertis, basically, and that's a good thing for traditional skiers who like a fun groomer ski with good pep. It's not quite as stable or sturdy as the Serpo at speed, but certainly prefers the shorter, quicker, and more energetic turns.
@@SkiEssentials thanks!
