    It is hard to find O,P and above Tunisian hooks without cord, but I did find double ended crochet hooks, so your videos are very handy! Really like your focus on the work without a bunch of fiddling with the yarn and talking about extra things… thank-you!

    I love this and now know what I can do with my double-ended hooks! Thank you for explaining why I need to go thru first two stitches when changing colors. It now makes sense to me. I look forward to watching your other videos. Hope you are still making them. 😺

      Thank you! Yes! There are a ton of videos on the channel and I do a live chat most weekday mornings. I don’t too many double ended Crochet projects, it’s just not my favorite technique and I don’t see much demand for it. Maybe you’ll inspire me!

    I just found two double ended crochet hooks. I’ve been crocheting for 60+ years and have never done this. Something new to learn this coming week. 💕🧶💕

    ❤it, thank you, Ellen. Oh yes, I am very curious about possibilities of other stitches in this double-ended way. I am hoping this one will grow faster than the TSS thinner stripey one?!I haven’t had much umph for crochet because the hotwater heater exploded in the walk-in cupboard & covered everything in mould since the pandemic started! Plus other crises like the washing machine died, a broken finger & tooth; & a fall with bruising. Can only laugh & hope I don’t fall asleep when I get the yarn & hooks out. Endless thanks to you & your vids to keep us happy🥰💓Julia,Pepe&Charlie P.S. Pepe is the only youngie here & he (cockatiel🕊️) sings his ❤️ out all day😊

    I would really like more Tunisian on the double hook. I'm wondering if you know of a double hook that is a 10 mm? I would like to use some Tunisian stitches with a double hook to make a blanket.

    Is this a technique you use with more than 1 color or is it used for certain stitches? Or just a change of pace?

  • @moniquecameron9767

    With Tunisian crochet, you use a larger hook than your yarn calls for. Is the same true for working with the double-end crochet hook and two balls of yarn? Also, does it matter if the yarns are of different weights?

    • @EllenGormleyCrochet
      @EllenGormleyCrochet  2 месяца назад

      Yes! The gauge will be different. But there is no way to know how much you love it until you try.
